The apartment is in vivacious street, full of hustle, bustle and people, with many eateries. Notre-Dame is nearby. A small lovely garden across the street. Go up Blvd Saint-Michel and get lost in the small streets or in the big Parc du Luxembourg. A quarter an hour on foot will take you to the Louvre. There are buses and metros galore.
If you are staying for more than a couple of days and like to have food at home, go to Place Maubert. There is an open air market 3 times a week. There are also stores for fish, cheese and fruit & vegs. A small, but well-stocked supermarket is in rue de la Harpe corner of Blvd Saint-Germain.
The apartment has 2 rooms and is fine for a couple. If you have a heavy suitcase, know that when entering form the street you will have to climb one flight, after which there is an elevator. The place is well heated which is great in the winter when we were there.
A good place to be in Paris.
