We’ve had a fantastic Christmas and a really great stay. Randy and Sharyl are fabulous hosts. The house is great and has everything you need. The pool and the setting is lovely. Can’t thank Randy and Sharyl enough for the little touches that they did to make our stay wonderful. We will definitely be back.

Amazing location with access to the Gulf and Atlantic! Beautiful views and fun watching all the boating activity and Tarpon. Super hosts and absolutely every amenity a family or group would ever need for fishing, cooking and relaxing!

Awesome location!

The view was amazing. Pool was such fun! Tiki bar was awesome and great place to grill your catch! Owners are super friendly. Had some nice bikes too! Loved it!

Wonderful Get-A-Way

We had an amazing time on Marathon Island in December 2020! We had a party of 8 adults and the two level house was great! The young college kids had their area and the older members had upstairs to hang out. The property owners are so kind and helpful. We enjoyed our stay at this property!!

Above and beyond

We had an amazing stay. Randy and Sharyl went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We even got to spend some time with them and had an amazing home cooked dinner! The ice machine was so convenient and the location of the home is unmatched. We were able to catch lots of fish right from the dock and enjoy the view every evening. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Location, location, location!

You know you are staying at a good fishing spot when the chartered fishing boats come and anchor about 20 feet off your back dock to get their clients fish! All amenities were provided in the home! Only downside I can think of and it is probably something we missed when booking is that the upper unit is separate from the lower unit (have to go outside to get to the other unit), if that makes a difference to you. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Perfect Getaway

We had an awesome week here. Finding a pet friendly house that allowed big dogs was hard and we are so happy we chose this location. This property is very pet friendly. The owners Sharyl and Randy were wonderful. They were very welcoming, full of helpful fishing knowledge and all around very nice people.The house had everything, literally everything. It was clean and set up perfectly. Our kids 10 and 13 felt so cool staying downstairs in their own area. My husband loved the outdoor tiki kitchen off the dock and I personally loved sitting in the chairs out back watching the boats. We would love to rent this property again and would highly recommend this house. Thank you again Sharyl and Randy!

The break we needed

The property offered a variety for our adult family of six. While there, we used the pool daily, fished from the dock, played corn hole, rode the bikes, star gazed and watched boats go by. The property has a lot of boat traffic, but still felt private enough to swim in the pool. We designated the upstairs space as a quiet zone and the downstairs kitchen and pool space as the fun social area. Both levels of the house have a kitchen, beds, tv's and seating. Hwy 1 is close and mostly offers white noise through the day. Easy walking distance to get bait at Captain Hook's, visit Fish Tales, get frozen custard at Conch Custard or a coffee drink at Curly's. A little longer stroll can be made to Tito's Stop, Walgreens or Marathon Bagel. We don't usually go back to a place we have visited, but if we did, this would be a repeat vacation house and spot for us!

Wonderful House

We stayed at this house over News Years with three generations of our family. It is much bigger than I expected. The layout allows people to retreat to their own spaces, which was a bonus. Our kids (teenage and preteen) enjoyed having the entire downstairs to themselves. It would have been more of a challenge with the external staircase, if the kids were younger. The house is very well equipped. It had every appliance, cooking utensil, and all the linens and pool towels that we could want. Randy and Sharyl live next door and were very welcoming. Randy loaned us fishing poles so we could fish off the dock. He also immediately fixed a few things that broke. He also turned on the heat in the pool for the kids because it was chilly. I highly recommend this house. The pool, water views, and location can't be beat! We will definitely be back!

Fishing and Life long Friends

Our stay at this home was very pleasurable. The amenities inside and outside the house are very top notch . We especially liked the layout of the home as the master has a large beautiful private shower and one of the extra rooms has a private full bath and then the hallway guest bathroom is a full bath also this makes life easy for a bunch of fisherman eager to get out on the water. The best part though is there is zero rush because you don’t need to get up early and launch a boat YOUR ON A PRIVATE DOCK that you can fish to your hearts desire. If you have had one too many beers you can send the kids on the beach cruisers for an approximately 3 minute bike ride for more bait! The common area and kitchen look brand new and are definatly not the norm for a fishing rental. I especially enjoyed the leather coaches with cel phone charging ports in the side. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils and dishes, all in very good condition. The kitchen has an indoor dining area and an island if you want to eat inside. The owners our new friends and I literally mean FRIENDS. My husband fished with Randy who has over 60 years fishing experience and his amazing best friend sidekick Richard who’s been fishing with him since
. Well we don’t want them to argue over whose right hahah but together 100 years of fishing knowledge. You know when you meet people in your life and you know they will forever be a core memory and often think when will I see them againl!

Fantastic Property and hosts

My family and I just spent a week at this awesome place. It was as myself and my husband, my mother, and my 4 children (8,13,16,18). The hosts were amazing! They were so helpful. There is an ice machine on the property which was nice because we were fishing all weekend. We towed our boat down and docked it right on the property. Not far from the property was a reef that we were able to snorkel in just off shore. It was amazing! We did so many fun things while we were there but my kids said the most fun they had was fishing off the dock at the house. The owner was so helpful in telling us how to catch the different kinds of fish and it all worked. We caught tarpon, parrot fish, barracuda, snapper, and tons of other things all weekend right off the dock at the house. We would come back in a heartbeat. It was as such a great location with great hosts. The photos don’t do it justice at all. Upstairs there is a king bed in a very large bedroom and there is another bedroom with a queen size bed. There are two full bathrooms, a full kitchen, living room, and an outside upstairs deck. Downstairs in a separate entrance there is a bedroom with a queen size bed, a full bathroom, a full kitchen, a living area, with a large area that also holds a queen size bed and a full size bed. This has an exit to the lower deck which has the pool, fire pit, and tiki bar area and it’s directly on the water. Such a beautiful spot and the water is crystal clear. We saw 2 nurse sharks, manatee, a huge stink ray, and Goliath grouper (and tons of other fish) right off the dock.

Amazing Week

The property was all we expected and more! The owners welcomed us upon our arrival and gave us a tour of the property. We enjoyed our time on bike rides they have at the property and kayak’s as well! I cannot wait for our next adventure at this property in the future.

We loved staying right on this channel with tarpon rolling right off the seawall. The boat traffic is entertaining, house was extremely well equipped, great owners helpful answering questions. Loved this spot!

Beautiful Home and perfect location

Had an absolutely wonderful time. The house is in the most perfect location. Basically have 2 full homes with this property. When I say they have EVERYTHING you could possibly need at this property I mean they have EVERYTHING! Homeowners are friendly, accommodating and quick to respond.
