Loved the location and it’s proximity to many of the things the Poconos has to offer. There was ample room for our group of six. The deck provided a place to watch all the deer wandering the grounds.

Great stay as usual. It was incredibly hot outside and the house stayed at a comfortable temperature, despite only having window air conditioning units. The lake was beautiful as always. We will definitely be back again in the future!

The property wasn’t as clean as it should have been. There were cobwebs in the windowsills and dust on the ceiling fans which prevented use. Window shades were difficult to raise and lower. It seemed as if the cleaning crew didn’t pay attention to detail. And the furniture was worn and dated. The carpet needed shampooing because it showed wear. This was an older property in comparison to others I’ve stayed in which was not what we expected. The overall cleanliness was disappointing for me and my guests.

I am glad you enjoyed your stay in the Poconos! Albeit we do our best to keep the house meticulous and very clean (note other reviews), at times there are some cob webs if the house is empty during the week (woods, mountains, fall). We did offer to have our cleaning person come by immediately and you said "it was fine" and you were good for the weekend. Things are not always perfect, but we do our best to make them so! Also, I know you were unhappy that we were not able to refund your deposit immediately on Sunday. Per VRBO policy they are responsible for 100% of the collection and refunding of deposits. We do not see the deposits. I am sorry this frustration led to your negative review. Glad you enjoyed your stay at our home and your time in the Poconos.

Great House! Great location, quiet area, rooms are very spacious, great beds and all had toppers. Kitchen well stocked, no need to bring a speaker. The view of the pond is fabulous, great dock and having use of all the kayaks and paddleboard was a great plus.The only negative, the cleaning company needs to take care of all the cobwebs and vacuum under the dinning room table and leave enough toilet paper in each bathroom. It also needs a dehumidifier in the basement especially for the bedroom downstairs.

We rented this homne for a girl's weekend and were looking forward to enjoying our time together by the lake.Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing in several ways.We were given specific entry instructions via lockbox. Upon arrival, the lockbox was opened and the key in the door and the front door was unlocked as well. With 5 women arriving at an unfamiliar home in the woods, we were understandably alarmed and genuinely concerned that someone might be inside. We searched the house thoroughly, including closets, under beds etc.. I reached out to the owners.We learned that someone had apparently been at the property to change lightbulbs and may not have secured the house. While we understand that mistakes happen, the situation was frightening. As a current VRBO Host myself, I understand the responsibilities involved in preparing a rental and welcoming guests. Guest safety, cleanliness and communication and comfort are all important parts of providing a positive experience.Unfortunately, after further home inspection, it revealed considerable dust (I'm highly allergic, currently sick because of it) cobwebs throughout as well. The fireplace wasn't in working order and the home was 50 degrees inside when outdoors it was 40 and the thermostat appeared to be restricted in the main living room/dining/kitchen area, leaving us wearing our coats indoors while trying to get comfortable.The home has a lovely lakeside setting.

Great place

Stayed here with friends and our kids and had a great time. The kitchen is great and the house was spacious enough for six adults and three kids. The lake and kayaks were an added bonus. Would stay there again.

Vacation at Oasis by the Lake

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful, spacious property by the lake! The home was not only luxurious and spotless but also tastefully furnished, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The beds were incredibly comfortable—truly like sleeping on clouds. Our hosts, Jeff and Wendy, were kind, warm, and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Lake Vacation

The property was exactly as described, perfect for our 6 adults and 4 children. We enjoyed a wonderful family vacation. The Host was very quick to respond and helped us with any questions. We experienced a family emergency (totally unrelated to the property) and the Host was extremely kind and went above and beyond to offer assistance.

Loved the dock side views every morning with our coffee!

We enjoyed the house. 3 levels with bedrooms on each level worked for our group. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook every day and the deck and grill were perfect. We paid the fee to use the pool in the development

The house was right on the lake, which was great. The pathway to the lake was hard to walk on for us elderly folks. Wash cloths are something that really should be included. The beds were great, the house was huge, and was wonderful for our family. Close to lots of activities. Thank you

This house was perfect for our long weekend with friends, including two toddlers. The set-up allowed each family to sleep on their own floor and have their own full bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, basic spices, and basic supplies like cling wrap and ziploc bags, which was very convenient. The kiddos loved watching the deer in the yard outside. It was a little too cold to enjoy the kayaks and firepit this time, but we'd love to take advantage. As the 3 yr old in our group said: "can we stay at this house again please?"
