Fantastic property and wonderful host

Had a wonderful stay at this property. Denis, the host, who speaks very good English, greeted us as we arrived and felt like a friend by the time we left. The property is exceptionally clean and has everything needed for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Would definitely recommend and we will hopefully be returning again soon.

Amazing place

Just had an fantastic stay at Denis's gorgeous property. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended for an extra 4 days. It's furnished & equipped to a high standard & has everything you could possibly need. It's located very close to the main tourist sites. Denis was a great host and spoke good English which was very helpful. He was discreet but also available if needed, he and his wife even gave us two comfortable sun chairs when they noticed we were using their outside wooden table chairs to sit on in the warm October sun! The property is lovely and modern and comfortable, the hot tub was a lovely addition which we used everyday after exploring the Dordogne/Lot region. The garden was peaceful and quiet and a very relaxing place to stay. Thank you Denis for letting us stay at your property, hopefully we will return.

Fabulous property, exceeded our expectations.

This is a wonderful property, in perfect surroundings, very quiet and peaceful, yet only a few kilometres from Sarlat and many other beautiful places. Everything at the property is of a very high standard and the host was so helpful in making sure that we had everything that we required. My husband is in a wheelchair and the property is very accessible. We will most definitely be going back for another visit. Highly recommend.

Excellent host, dog friendly property close to main attractions

From the time we booked to the time we departed the property the host (Denis) provided excellent service and information. The property was beautifully presented and extremely comfortable. Quality furnishings and extremely well equipped. Our dogs enjoyed the expansive garden- Denis happy for them to run free. The house is set well back from the access lane and gardens so large there was no issues with them doing this. The river and a couple of restaurants within 10 minutes drive or a 35 minute walk. Daily swim for us and the dogs and pebble beach area welcome during hot weather

The best rental ever!

This property is just as described. Spotlessly clean, well equipped, modern and comfortable. Thoughtfully laid out with plenty of space for your stuff. Genuinely the best place we have ever rented! It's up a steep slope (you probably need a car to be based here), away from the road and surrounded by woodland where we saw birds and deer. Denis is a lovely host (and speaks good English). He lives next door, but you'd never know he was there, unless you need something. All in all - totally recommended.

This is an amazing property with everything you possible need for a holiday, the host Dennis is just the nicest most helpful person you could hope to rent a property from! Although he stays in the adjacent property with his Wife, you only see Dennis if you want advice on anything. A simple WhatsApp message and he is happy to pop through to see you and explain where to visit or where to eat. Nothing is an issue to Dennis.The house is ideal for couples and families and we also had our dog with us. Dennis was happy for our dog to roam the gardens which are massive and more importantly safe for your dog. The house is only an easy 7min drive into Sarlat. There are Canoes for hire a 5 minutes drive down into Vitrac and you are ideally located to visit Rocamadour and all the other attractions in the area. If we have a criticism it is that the photos don’t do this place justice, we had high expectations and on arrival this property exceeded them! Oh and the hot tub is lovely.We could happily have spent two weeks here instead of the week we did. If we ever visit the Dordogne Lot area again this is where we will stay. We will be recommending Dennis’s house to our family and friends. Richard, Liz and Runa.

Tranquillity

The property is contained in a gated totally secure plot. Although Denis resided in an adjacent house, it cannot be seen and is private. The gite is very well equipped with new/modern appliances. The air con if very good, in both bedrooms and the lounge. Outside there is seating, under a large umbrella with loungers and a hot tub (didnt get in the tub). Total peace. Nearby Sarlat has a large LeClerk supermarket a 10 min drive away. There are many local attractions and if you want to travel further afield. 30/60 mins Rockamadour, Geouffre de Padriac, Cahors Bergerac amongst others. There are a number of "Prehistoric" sites and Chateau's within easy reach as well a many restaurants. Denis has a good command of English and is very helpful, but discreet , he made some reservations for us at local restaurants. Would defiantly revisit

Erlebnis Périgord Noir

Wir hatten sehr schöne 10 Tage im Mai im Haus von Denis, der ein sehr netter und aufmerksamer Gastgeber war. Das Haus bietet viel mehr, als das Inserat zeigt. Es hat uns an absolut nichts gefehlt. Das Haus ist modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Betten waren sehr gut. Das Draußen mit dem Whirlpool rundet einen absolut positiven Eindruck ab. Die Nähe zu Sarlat-la-Canéda war super. Das Périgord Noir ist eine Reise wert und gern im Haus von Denis.

Wunderschönes Haus in toller Landschaft

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr geschmackvoll und wertig eingerichtet. Man kann sich gut, auch mit mehreren Personen im großzügigen Wohn-/Essbereich aufhalten. Alles ist modern und funktioniert. Der umliegende Garten ist riesig (auch für Hundebesitzer geeignet) und man kann die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit auf der Terrasse genießen. Ein absolutes Highlight ist der große, saubere und gepflegte Whirlpool. Wir können die Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Propriétaires très gentils Très bon accueil avec une petite attention gustative bien appréciée, très discrets mais toujours prêts à répondre à nos demandes. Lieu très calme petite route en pente et sinueuse pour accéder à la maison entourée d'arbres, manque peut-être une vue sur le paysage, mais proches de tous les nombreux sites à visiter. Nous avons passé un séjour très reposant agréable malgré les fortes chaleur avons apprécié la clim et le jacuzzi très propre.Merci, merci encore, nous reviendrons très certainement.

Très belle maison très bien équipée et spacieuse Au calme Le propriétaire vit à côté mais il est très discret nous avons eu un super accueil Je recommande cette maison et cette région Si il y avait une note à mettre je mettrais 20 sur 10 en non l’inverse

Maison idéalement située, proche des plus beaux sites du Périgord noir Maison très bien équipée, très confortable, et au calme et en bonus le jacuzzi pour se détendre après une journée de visites Denis et son épouse nous ont parfaitement bien accueillis Nous reviendrons et recommandons leur jolie maison

Superbe maison

Que dire ? Nous avons passés une superbe semaine, intérieur chaleureux,il ne manque rien, propreté , confort, jacuzzi tout y était un vrai bonheur et le petit plus la proximité de toutes les visites,merci Denis et Dominique si nous revenons dans la région c'est chez vous que nous reviendrons sans hésitation
