My family has stayed on the Cape for over a decade. We usually get a stand alone house, so sharing a multi-unit space came with some new experiences. Weâll start with the good: the unit is well priced for the location. Itâs a short walk to the beach, trading post, ice cream and the seafood market. Check in was easy, and we didnât have any major issues, so we didnât have to communicate with the property management company at all.We were supposed to have 6 in our group, but ended up with 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The space was adequate for the 4 of us, but would have probably been snug with 6. The unit has potential, but small things like the bathroom trash can was broken, the blow dryer was barely usable, there was no hose to rinse off for our unit (we used the neighborâs all week), the driveway has huge potholes, that are impossible to avoid, and we definitely saw 3 LARGE cockroaches in different rooms during our stay. Others have mentioned this in their reviews, so I was prepared, but you can definitely hear every footstep of the people staying in the unit above you. And it took me awhile to get used to people walking up our porch to get to their unit (close the blinds). Luckily, they were up and moving around the same time as us, so it wasnât too disruptive. We had intended on feeding more mouths, so we went with a cheaper place than we normally do. If we had our two older kids join us, maybe I would feel differently, but I donât think I would book this property again.
