Welcome to Bay Watchin'! Secluded Bay Front home on North Cape San Blas with spectacular views of St. Joe Bay from the primary bedroom and living room/kitchen areas. The interior was recently completely renovated featuring all new kitchen appliances, cabinets, granite countertops, tiled bathrooms (showers and floors), bathroom vanities and new modern fixtures throughout.

Wake up and enjoy your coffee or breakfast on the large 2nd story deck overlooking the sunrise on St. Joe Bay. Enjoy the convenience of docking your bay style boat (water averages 2-3 feet at the end of the dock) at the end of 200 yard shared (with only 2 other homes) dock just feet from the channel. If you have a larger boat, there is plenty of parking at the house each night.

Love scallops?? You'll find a thriving scallop population right in Bay Watchin's back yard! The 2025 scallop season in Cape San Blas runs from August 16th - September 25th. You can scallop right from the dock and regularly harvest your limit!

Looking for pool access? Newly renovated Rish Park is only a 1.5 mile drive, walk, or bike ride away! See photos for Rish Park amenities that include a huge pool, nice restrooms/showers, and beach access to one of the best sections of beach on all of Cape San Blas.

The Cape San Blas bike path runs right past Bay Watchin's driveway making it even easier to bike or walk to some of the Capes best spots - Trading Post, Weber's Doughnuts, Ice cream shop, Peachy's (lunch only), Skully's and St Joe Shrimp Co.

Bay Watchin' is truly one of the best values in all of Cape San Blas!!

Additional amenities include washer/dryer in home, high speed wireless internet, 65" flatscreen smart TV in living room so you can log into your favorite TV apps.

Please note there is a studio apartment located under Bay Watchin’. The use of this apartment is NOT included with the rental of Bay Watchin’. This apartment will occasionally be occupied by family members or friends only and is not rented out.

Pets - maximum of two dogs allowed (each must be under 50 lbs.). The first dog will incur a $175 pet fee per stay. The second (if applicable) is an additional $100 per stay. Dogs must be leashed at all times while outside.
-Owner agrees to remove and properly dispose of all pet waste from the yard
-Aggressive dogs are not allowed on property

With all this I saved the best for last. You can still have bonfires (can you say oyster roasts?!?) on the beach and even ride horses with the local stables. This is definitely old Florida with beautiful sand and water as well as complete relaxation. You are going to LOVE IT!

Took a boat. Fished and snorkeled. Always found plenty of places to eat. Loved the lack of traffic. Port st Joe is a nice clean town. Saw two bears. Nice park at the north end of the Cape.

A great week in CSB!

We always love our visits to the Cape and this was our second stay at this property. It is clean, spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. Bay access is non-negotiable for us when we visit CSB, and the dock at this property is sturdy and convenient. Communication with the owner was excellent. We’ll be back!

Unbelievable trip !!!

The house and location was perfect for our fishing trip. A very clean house ,good communication with the owner. Perfect kitchen update with new appliances and all ustensile what you need to cook a good meal. Spacious bedrooms with a good quality mattress ,after a fishing day you sleep like a baby. The porch was relaxing and perfect for a nice sunset. A perfect trip!. Thank you again !!

Great Bayside Getaway

This was a perfect cozy home for our family of 6. The dock leading to the bay was beautiful. It and the back deck are a great place to enjoy the scenery and wildlife. House is tucked away from the road so it feels secluded, but is just a quick drive (1-2 minute drive) down the road and across the street to the trading post store for access to food, snow cone, or necessities for vacation.

Great stay on the Bay

We had a great time relaxing by the bay. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to make family meals. Bay view is beautiful. If bringing a boat, it's shallow, even at high tide, but plenty of space to park and turn around if you launch daily from boat ramp. Third room is adequate for kids, but would be a challenge for adults. We really enjoyed our stay and would book this rental again. Excellent experience overall.

Perfect Beach Vacation

The house is amazing! When I walked in I felt like I was walking into a Pottery Barn catalog!! The house exactly as pictured, which is not always the case. Only issues we had was we could not get the lights to turn on under the house where we parked. We contacted Kyle and while he wasn't able to help us figure it out, he was responsive. Second thing, which is not Kyle's fault, is when closing the main sliding door--watch your fingers! My husband has big hands and kept crushing his fingers in the door. I also want to point out that there is an apartment below where the owners/friends of family can stay. I was worried about this at first but loved the look and location of the house so much that I'd thought might as well give it a try. I'm so glad we did! About half way through our trip someone did occupy the apartment down below, but we never saw them and it really was no big deal. I actually only saw the person once when taking the trash out, so whatever you do--don't let this discourage you from renting the house. This house really is in the perfect location. If you love to fish, like my son, you really can fish all day long either beach side or bayside. The dock was awesome and super convenient. We really do hope to stay here again soon!

Beautiful home and views!

We enjoyed our stay. This was our first time staying bayside and we enjoyed the ease of having the boat docked in front of the home. The home is beautiful and Kyle was a great host who responded promptly to all my questions. The beach was a lot further than we thought, that was our only negative. Rish Park was our solution. Pool and beach for $6.00 a day.

Loved this bayside house!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this bayside retreat! It was the perfect size for my parents, my husband, and me. The house was well appointed, clean, and comfortable. We appreciated the dock as my brother who lives in PSJ could pick my dad up from there for fishing in the morning. We appreciate the owner sharing his home with us, and we look forward to returning!

Great house on the bay

Location was great- on the bay but we were able to walk across the street and cut thru to the beach. House was perfect for 4 of us plus the dog. Nice side yard to play football and frisbee. Enjoyed the kayaks that we used off the dock in the backyard. Owner was quick to respond to questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Cape San Blas at its best.

We loved our stay at this awesome bay side home. It was very clean, well stocked and the views were amazing. The owner was very quick to respond to my many crazy questions. I highly recommend this home. We had 6 adults and the home was perfect. One word of caution…enter the driveway slowly…a little tricky at first. Fishing was amazing…trout, red drum, puffer, catfish and some sharks to mention a few. Our family loves nature so this location was amazing. The sunset from the dock was beautiful. Short drive to St. Joseph Peninsula state park. Fun was had by all. Thanks Kyle for allowing us to stay in your home.

Comfortable and clean

We had a great time on our trip. The house was great for the 4 of us and had everything we needed. The only downside was that we were not able to keep our boat in the water. At low tide the water level is very low at the end of the dock and we didn’t feel comfortable with our boat sitting on the ground or trying to navigate with it that shallow. It would have limited us to only being able to easily use the dock for half of the day at high tide. On the positive side there was plenty of room to park our boat next to the house and putting in at the state park was convenient.
