Nathalie & Benoit welcome you to a charming traditional 19th century "farmhouse", carefully restored (once attached to the old neighbouring stable, which they have also perfectly revisited as a gîte) nestled in the heart of a peaceful little village in the Morvan countryside, a stone's throw from a charming 12th century Romanesque church. Typical and steeped in history, the cradle of schist mining in Autun (at the end of the 19th century), this former mining village with a world-renowned deposit (some vestiges of this period remain a few kilometers away) nestled at the crossroads of the green valleys of the Arroux and the Drée (fish-filled rivers) benefits from a bucolic rural and natural hilly setting, mixing agriculture and nature, between fields of crops, wooded meadows, rivers and ponds and deep wild forests (including the nearby national forest of Planoise backing onto Autun, one of the largest in France, or the famous vast Morvan forest massif). The surrounding environment is preserved, to be explored during relaxing walks or mountain bike rides. Very comfortable gîte. Ultra spacious and bright. Large living room of 65m² with a beautiful "cathedral" volume. Warm country charm with contemporary accents. A delightful enclosed garden, carefully landscaped with lawns, plants, and flowers, offers a large, intimate, sun-drenched, shaded terrace nestled in a literal "mini green setting" and an elegant paved courtyard. Composition: Semi-detached village house next to the owners' other gîte (the two are completely independent). Fiber optic Wi-Fi. Electric heating and a wood-burning stove. Ground floor: living room/kitchen/lounge (table football), 1 bedroom (double bed 160x200cm) with TV and private bathroom (shower), separate toilet. 1st floor: mezzanine/lounge (extra double sofa bed 140x190cm), 2 bedrooms (double bed 140x190cm in each), one with a TV, and a bathroom (shower/toilet). Enclosed grounds (200m² / ping-pong table) + terrace + bicycle storage + private parking. All amenities 9 km away.
