*KENNEBUNKPORT GEM - YARDS FROM OCEAN! A+ views! It is only a 3 minute drive to Kennebunkport town, which feels really convenient compared to many other rentals.

All the details for how to "run the house" are here in this listing in each section. I listed it all here if you need to refer to this during your stay as guests have said they found this helpful. There is also a notebook for house items in kitchen - but am available 24/7 for texts or calls to answer house questions. We want guests to be very happy there.

OUR HOME: Sure ... you can smile while you walk 300 yards directly from Ocean Avenue down our little road to this MODERN 4 bedroom (3,242 sq. ft) shingle style home in desirable Cape Arundel. It’s your vacation, after all. 😉This private and immaculate house sits a stone’s throw from Walkers Point. Great for families with kids of all ages. Sleeps 8 adults comfortably. Air mattresses are provided for a total of 10 guests, though 8 is the preferred max. "NO PARTIES" is a VRBO STRICT RULE we have to enforce as one renter in the past ruined it for everyone and the dinging of alarm company texts got unbearable. Ugh. This is a private 2 acre lot with large patio, a great Weber Grill, spacious yard, patio furniture that seats 8-10, and outdoor shower. Four private bedrooms, two and half bathrooms, eat-in granite kitchen complete with subzero fridge, laundry room, vaulted living room with cozy gas fireplace and separate “Smart Tv” room for kids/ teens (BYOP - bring your own password - for Netflix etc. ;) First floor “King sized bed” master bedroom features wonderful spacious walk-in closet and master bath with walk-in shower, double sink and large jacuzzi tub. Three additional bedrooms and a full guest bath upstairs. The largest of the upstairs bedrooms has a small cable tv for Red Sox, the news, or movies and could sleep 5 kids if needed, as there is a standard couch which complements the queen bed and the new/updated “full size mattress pull-out couch.”

NEARBY OFFERINGS: Come enjoy everything southern Maine has to offer: white sand beaches, waterfront dining, topnotch shopping, Kennebunk’s Vinegar Hill musical theatre and comedy venue, Portland’s breweries and seafood, Ogunquit’s summer stock theatre and nightlife.

REGARDING BEACHES: Only a 15-20 minute stroll with our beach trolly and umbrellas and towels to the Colony Beach offers a great option for kids, but our personal favorite is a day spent at Goose Rocks Beach (4.4 miles) , ranked in the top 15 beaches of the entire east coast. Goose Rocks Beach parking passes can be purchased at the standard familiar looking "credit card parking meter kiosks." These two parking meters are located right in front of GOOSE ROCKS GENERAL STORE and right next to a small beach path on the corner of PROCTOR AVENUE and King's Highway **as owners unfortunately can’t provide these. Both kiosks are convenient and right at the beach. These $25 daily beach parking passes are the easy answer. Suggestion: just plan to go early and minimize the number of cars you take to the beach (to1 only as parking at any beach in southern maine is tough even for people with season beach stickers on their cars.) Lastly, A+ lunches can be purchased at HB provisions (Kennebunkport) or Bennetts Sandwich Shop (Kennebunk) ... but if you choose Goose Rocks Beach like we do ... then you may want to treat yourself to Cape Porpoise Kitchen (*right on the way to the beach - halfway from our house.) You could also get snacks and waters at the Goose Rocks General store (*right at beach) when you get your beach pass.

This house truly rocks. 🎸FULL DISCLOSURE - we do have a “RING” Camera as well as a security system (*this means all the comings and goings are on surveillance) - apologies if that is not your cup of tea - but we were told it helps both guests and hosts be safe.
