Close to wineries and golf courses. East beach is a pet friendly beach. We offer you a well furnished and fully equipped ground floor suite adjoining a beautiful Italian style flagstone garden with flowers, shrubs, cedar privacy hedge and fresh herbs.

The suite has two bedrooms with a queen bed in each one, one bathroom with a walk in shower and an open style living room/kitchen. Its kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, gas stove, large fridge, microwave, lots of small kitchen appliances & fresh herbs are available in season just outside the kitchen door. It has an office area, a desk and a book shelf with lots of great books, games, puzzles & magazines to enjoy. It has high speed internet, a flat screen TV with basic cable, Netflix a cozy stone faced gas fireplace and lots of original art.

Walk out to a fully fenced backyard with flowers, fresh herbs and flag stones interspersed with plants. We are walking distance (8 minutes) from the best beach in White Rock just below the Washington Avenue Grill, a very nice restaurant. At low tide the beach stretches for kilometres & is warmed by long stretches of sand when coming in.

WRBH is a three minute drive to the freeway to Richmond, Vancouver and the USA.

We are a quick drive to world class recreation and parks such as 2 minutes to the White Rock ocean promenade which is a 4.2 km out & back walk, Grandview Heights Aquatic Centre (9 minutes), Redwood Park (11 minutes), South Surrey Athletic Park for tennis & pickleball (9 minutes), The Hills at Portal Golf Course (7 minutes), Meridian par 3 golf course (5 minutes) and Peace Arch Golf Centre driving range (5 minutes).

We are even close to quite a few very nice wineries in South Langley. For example, it is a 16 minute drive to Chaberton Estate Winery where groups can sit around picnic tables, eat their own picnic and drink a bottle of its excellent wine or have a gourmet meal & wine at its excellent restaurant. Other charming wineries nearby are Township 7 Vineyards and Winery (15 minutes) and Glass House Estate Winery where one can dine (18 minutes).

Near the wineries is an excellent and huge Metro Vancouver park called Campbell Valley Regional Park where one can do great walks and hikes on 33 km of trails and use its 3.9 km cycle path (11 minutes).

Further afield is a must-visit destination, the historic Fort Langley (38 minutes). The Fort is a a national historic site. It reenacts the Hudson Bay Company’s fort which operated from 1839 to 1886 and the nearby village is very charming with many interesting shops, bars and restaurants. There are more wineries and cider makers there.

For golf lovers we have some excellent golf courses nearby. The Hills at Portal Golf Course (7 minutes), Meridian par 3 golf course (5 minutes) and Peace Arch Golf Centre driving range (5 minutes). Hazelmere Golf Club (7 minutes), Morgan Creek Golf Course (12 minutes), Northview Golf Club (21 minutes) and Redwoods Golf Course (35 minutes but a beautiful drive & course).

For tennis players, we have many outdoor tennis courts and two indoor tennis clubs where one can reserve and rent a court for one to two hours. The latter are Hazelmere Tennis Club (7 minutes) and The Tennis Centre - Surrey (14 minutes).

We also have many excellent restaurants nearby. Some of our favourites are two very close, Washington Avenue Grill (which often has live music), Zapoteca Mexican Grill & Seafood and La Baia Italian Restaurant which are no more than a 3 minute drive away. Further afield near the White Rock Pier we like Five Kitchen & Oyster Bar, Charlie Don’t Surf, Uli’s Restaurant, Jan’s on the Beach, Cosmos Greek Restaurant, West Beach Bar & Grill often with live music and The Boathouse Restaurant. They are no more than a 5 minute drive away.

Another restaurant and bar area is uptown White Rock which is a 4 to 6 minute drive away. It has Bin 101 Wine & Tapas Bar, Emilio Finatti Pizzeria, Five Corners Vietnamese Restaurant, The Wooden Spoon, Tara’s Sushi and many pubs and brew pubs, some of which have live music such as Sawbucks Neighbourhood pub (6 minutes).

We also have some excellent art galleries nearby. Our favourite are White Rock Gallery (5 minutes) and Art Couture (6 minutes).

For those that enjoy listening to live music we have performances by excellent artists at the intimate theatre called Blue Frog Studios but one must reserve seats on its website (5 minutes).

We have two libraries you nearby that you could join. One is the White Rock Library (4 minutes). The other is the Surrey Library (8 minutes).

If you like to attend movies, we have the Caprice Theatre nearby which shows 4 movies (7 minutes). The nearest bigger theatre with reclining seating is 23 minutes away at Cineplex Theatre Strawberry Hills. Landmark 12 Guildford is 30 minutes away and Cineplex Langley is 32 minutes away.

Lastly, we have two theatres, a lovely community theatre called White Rock Players Club and the Bell Centre for the Performing Arts with 1,100 seats (16 minutes). See their websites for performance dates.
