The house is situated in a very large garden in the countryside, it's really well equipped, and has a huge inglenook open fire place along with very efficient heating system (handy in cooler weather of October). Living room, dining room, and kitchen are all in one large open plan room, so great for socialising. There are fantastic sitting out areas on the verandas to the front and side of the house and a BBQ is provided. Good central location for exploring the surrounding pretty and historic towns, with a multitude of farmer/fish/local producer markets (with the best produce you'll ever find), and the coast is only 20 - 30 minutes away. Great restaurants everywhere including in the local village of Breuil-en-Auge.
We were just two of us but the house would be great for a family holiday with slightly older children as the main ensuite is downstairs and two other rooms with twin beds upstairs.
