Komplett modernisierte Wohnung mit neuer offener Küche mit Steinzählern, Küchenbar, Küchengeräten aus Edelstahl, Massivholzschränken im Plantagenstil und moderner Arbeitsplatzbeleuchtung. Das luxuriös geflieste Badezimmer hat auch neue Plantagenschränke und Beleuchtung, geflieste Theken und eine voll geflieste ebenerdige Dusche mit Sitzbank. Die Wohnung wurde neu mit klassischen hawaiianischen Interieur und Möbeln eingerichtet. Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über ein brandneues Queensize-Schlafsofa und das Hauptschlafzimmer über ein neues Kingsize-Bett.

Eigentumswohnung Nr. 49 befindet sich in der zweiten (obersten) Etage und ist eine Endeinheit, in der drei Wände mit Lamellenfenstern den hawaiianischen Sonnenschein und die Brise hereinlassen. Es befindet sich in Gebäude 9, in der Nähe des Strandes (2 Minuten zu Fuß) und weit von der Hauptstraße entfernt, wodurch dieses Gerät ruhig und praktisch ist. Näher am Strand kann man nicht sein, ohne einen Blick aufs Meer zu bezahlen. Die Wäschemöglichkeiten des Resorts sind nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von der Haustür entfernt.

Unsere Wohnung hat einen herrlichen Gartenblick. Der private Balkon mit Blick auf die grünen Rasenflächen, die Doppelbrücken und die farbenfrohen Gärten ist der perfekte Ort, um die angenehme Brise und die strahlenden Sonnenuntergänge zu genießen.

Das Gerät verfügt über Kabel-TV, einen neuen Flachbild-TV, kostenfreies WLAN, einen DVD-Player und einen Stereo-CD-Player mit iPod- / iPhone-Anschluss. Da unsere Wohnung von Castle Resorts verwaltet wird, haben unsere Gäste uneingeschränkten Zugang zum Pool und zu den Tennisplätzen im Poipu Beach Athletic Club neben dem Kiahuna Plantation Resort. '

Kauai ist die älteste der fünf großen hawaiianischen Inseln und in ihrer Vielfalt einzigartig. Die Insel ist 33 Meilen lang und 25 Meilen breit und wird von Hawaiis größtem Riff geschützt. Über 680 exotische Fischarten können beim Genießen des warmen Pazifischen Ozeans oder bei der Erkundung von Wailua, Hawaiis größtem Süßwasserkörper und längstem Fluss, beobachtet werden. Andere spektakuläre Orte sind die prächtige Napali-Küste und der Waimea Canyon (der „Grand Canyon des Pazifiks“). Dan, Thank you for staying with us and for enjoying #49. We agree that as a second-floor end unit, A/C really isn’t necessary. Of course, for ground-floor or middle units, it can make a difference, but since 1974 our family has preferred to rely on the natural trade winds to keep #49 cool and comfortable. We do keep an eye on this, and we truly appreciate your feedback as more travelers grow accustomed to air conditioning.

Pros: Quiet unit, host communicated with us prior to our check-in well, access to Poipu Beach Athletic Club was nice. Convenient access to beach.Cons: Unit could use a deep cleaning. Areas including the carpets, bathroom/kitchen sinks and counters, refrigerator needed to be cleaned much better.

Loved our stay, great property in a wonderful location. The beach was so nice it made it hard to leave to go exploring. We were skeptical about the athletic club pool but ended up loving it there. Great poolside service and perfect for families with kids of any age.

Kiahuna is a beautiful complex and this unit is conveniently located near the castle office and laundry. We had everything we needed including the local daily newspaper delivery. We enjoyed our stay here and hope to return soon!

Amazing property and location!

We were delighted with this beautiful condo located within a 3 minute walk to Poipu Beach. We had a wonderful, private lanai with a great view of the lush and verdant grounds. The condo had a very well-equipped, modern kitchen, with an open concept to living/dining. The bed and bath were both comfortable and nicely appointed. Check in and out were seemless! We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Plantation is beautiful and the beach is outstanding! Loved the beach hut that provided chairs and towels. Our unit was well stocked and we really appreciated the beach umbrella! Nice and quiet, would definitely stay here again. Only complaint would be there are no sponges?!?! Makes cleaning hard

Poipu Beach Haven

As advertised, just a short walk to the beach. Beautiful place to watch the sunset right out on the lawn. Also fun to watch the surfers. Was a great homebase for exploring the entire island. Turtles and monk seals at Poipu beach were fun to see. Put a little bit to get used to windows with no glass and how to set the shutters for the best cooling effect.

This property was pretty much at listed, although I expected a little more from the "recently remodeled" statement (carpet not in new condition and stove/oven not in new condition.) But the location was accurate. At 3:00 check-in, they were still cleaning the condo (responsibility of Castle Resorts, not the owners).

Bathroom was weird... toilet faced the tub, so very little space. Loved being upstairs; great breeze came through! But too far from the beach, and only garden view. Will not rent this one again.....only because I want to have an ocean view next visit to Kauau!

Great location, VERY short walk to the sandy beach

We rented 3 condos. We stayed in this one and our adult sons and their wives and kids (ages 1 and almost n 3) stayed in the others. This condo was perfect. Location is a short walk across the grass area to reach the beach and right next to the entrance to walk 7 minutes to the beach where the turtles come up at sunset to sleep at night. This unit does not have air conditioning but is a corner unit with the perfect cross breeze to stay cool all the time. IT also has a closet full of beach chairs, noodles, sand toys and a boogie board. The owners make it very welcoming. It is a short walk to a highly rated organic coffee/chia bowls/smoothies, breakfast/lunch place and a bit longer walk to shopping. We would stay here again.

Home Away From Home

What a beautiful, comforting, and cozy hale this is! The location is wonderful: the view from the lanai overlooks the perfectly manicured lawn and gardens, yet the trees that surround it offer beauty and privacy. The kitchen is fully stocked with every appliance and utensil needed for easy home cooking. Comfortable island-style furniture is not only visually pleasing, it also provides a space of relaxation while enjoying the trade winds flowing through. Excellent communication with the owners. They are very gracious hosts. We are grateful for the privilege of staying at such a delightful unit on our most favorite island in our most favorite region: the magical Koloa and Poipu. I highly recommend booking with this sweet family! We would love to return to this haven. Mahalo nui loa for everything!

Sorry to say, the loss of cable was not acceptable, loss of power was not good either, but the worst was the flooding so that we had to wade through knee deep water for half a block. Just not what we had hoped for.

We were sorry to hear that your visit was interrupted with such dramatic weather. While those of us who travel to Kauai or the other Hawaiian Islands enjoy the fact that the weather is usually pleasurable mix of warmth and sunshine along with rainy periods, the weather on rare occasion can be wet. The Kiahuna Resort is wonderful. It is our second time to this resort. The beach is close with good swimming. The beach hut has everything you need. The property is perfect for watching the sunset. The room was nice. It is on the upper level on the end so the breeze is great for cooling off the room. So much so it even got chilly on some nights. The appliances are all new and the kitchen is stocked well. Maybe even over stocked as there aren’t any empty spaces for food. Exp: to many glasses and could be reorganized for optimal space. This condo also has beach chairs, umbrella and water toys. So nice. The bed is very comfortable. The location of the condo is close to the laundry and easy beach access. The con is it is also close to all the maintenance and housekeeping buildings. So at 7am it gets loud. But the roosters get loud then too so may as well get up. We stayed over 2 weeks and felt safe, comfortable and relaxed. Couldn’t ask for more.

Relaxing and Breezy - A Great Location!

Before I praise the property, I'll note 2 brief negatives. First, there is a resort cleaning fee we were not expecting of about $270. That was administered by the property itself, not the owner, and it was a sting. Second, the door lock was really finicky. We found ourselves locked out upon arriving near midnight, and security had to come help us. After that, it took numerous swipes to get the keycard to work. Security said they're going to update the readers soon, and it was kind of a hassle the whole time. BUT READ ON! Those two small annoyances aside, this is an absolutely fantastic property and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The location itself is right on fantastic beaches, and there are several good places to eat nearby, whether walking or a short drive. This unit in particular had a perfect lanai - just enough trees shielded it from view and it faced the grass and mountains. This meant the ocean wind did not scream into our unit, even during a few vicious rainstorms. Yet the slatted windows throughout provided excellent ventilation and a marvelous island experience. It was a joy to wake with chirping birds and roosters in the morning (though you may sometimes hear the maintenance people start their day if you're a light sleeper). The unit was also well stocked with both beach and kitchen supplies, which saved us a ton of money. We cooked at least one meal every day, including using the nearby grills several nights. This one is a winner. Enjoy it.

We sure appreciate your feedback and agree with your thoughts. We are changing the resort fee going forward. This is noted but has been tricky for other guests as well. We are in the process of changing out the door locks and hope that any trouble with them will be something in the past. Thanks for your patience as the resort works thru this.

Bob and Flo Scarff visited Hawaii in 1976 and flew to Kauai for the day on a whim. There they discovered Kiahuna Plantation, which at the time was still under construction. They were immediately sold by Kiahuna’s unique beauty and unit #49’s great location within the resort. While the Scarff’s still continue to visit, today their daughter Dianne Chandler and her husband Jim, and their grandson Preben Martin and his wife Nicole are the owners. The family’s love of Kiahuna has carried into a third generation, with #49 remaining a true home away from home.
