Schönes Ferienhaus mit Panoramablick auf der Landschaft 5 Minuten mit dem Auto zu Hautefort

Mirabelle gite is registered and insured to sleep a maximum of 4 people. This is clearly stated on the booking form all guests complete on reserving the gite. Therefore when 5 people turn up without any prior agreement it is only expected that the owner would be both concerned and annoyed with the situation. Even so, we amicably let the 5 people stay within the gite and at no extra cost. Yes the cottage does have wooden floors like all buildings that are 200 years old. These are the only guests that have complained about the noise between floors in 5 years, so maybe allowing the unauthorised 5th person to stay was to our detriment. Maybe an apology from our guests for the situation would have been nice, but instead they decide to give us an unfair review, showing the world can be an unkind place at times!.

Wifi:- Regretfully during our guests stay the commune of Hautefort experienced 2 days without telephone/internet, we had no control over this situation, but respect this caused an inconvenience. Bedrooms:- Sadly these are our first guests in 10 years to have found this unsuitable. As both floor levels can be accessed from outside, the bedrooms are positioned on the bottom floor, this arrangement helps to keep them cool during the hot summer months.
