We stayed from July 31 to Aug 3. Because of its proximity to Dome and other tourist spots, that alone outweighs any cons you may have on this place (ours being the small-spaced elevator). If ever i visit florence again, i will definitely book this apartment again.

Great stay, quiet and yet central

This apartment was great. We had everything we needed in the heart of the city and communication was seamless and so very helpful and responsive. I would definitely recommend.

Perfect location. Dimitri was very helpful throughout the stay. AC works very well under sweltering heat - was great to get back to. Very clean and would be back here again

Great location however, very noisy area. Windows do a pretty good job of blocking out noise. Elevator was a nice perk.

Fantastic location right in city centre. Could be a bit noisy at night times, but to be expected being right in the city and with the windows closed, it wasn’t too bad. Easily walkable to main Florence attractions with a 6 and 7 year old. Room met all our needs and the washer/dryer was great to refresh the clothes!!

Firenze at its finest!

Awesome location.....within 2 blocs of the Duomo. Very clean apartment. Ambra was fabulous and easy to communicate with. She even helped set up a taxi ride to the airport at 4:30am in the morning. Great apartment and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Central, Modern and Efficient

Property is moments from the Duomo, central and walk able to all our our activities. Expect busy streets at most hours of the day and noise especially on weekends. Apartment is accurately described with a private bedroom, small kitchen and living room with convertible sofa bed. it was great for our family of 3. Apartment was clean,building was safe and had small elevator which was great for luggage. Property manager was easy to work with and prompt. We loved our stay for three nights!

I'm sorry to know just today in your review that there was a bad smell in the bathroom. You haven't told us anything about this problem. We could have intervened to check and resolve. We do a constant maintenance of our apartments and it has never happened that some guests have complained about this problem.I am very sorry that you gave us such a low rating in your review. We put a lot of effort into our work to make our guests feel good.

Perfect little home to stay in

The owner was communicative throughout. The home was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable. Our only complaint was sleeping arrangements were downstairs and the only bathroom was upstairs. Also the bathroom was very cold and drafty. But the place was perfect for our getaway and comfortable and felt safe. the location was good. No issues finding street parking. The location was close to main “must do” activities such as the Arch, Bush Stadium, and Amheisur-Bush. Recommend you get a meal at Tucker’s steakhouse which is only blocks away from the home too!

Very small, excellently located, safe apartment with inadequate kitchen

Spent six nights in well located, very small, secure 4th floor apt. Met as planned; easy checkin and checkout. Useful guide in apt. Excellent location within easy walking distance to everything, restaurants, sites, train station, etc. Tiny elevator, washing machine, good wifi, hot water, fluffy towels, large BR closet, many hangers, iron & board. Comfortable bed. Can be noisy at night. BYO earplugs, DW and laundry pellets, soap, etc. Misleading pictures make apt seem much larger than it is. Not for more than 2 people. Very small kitchen adequate for light breakfasts or snacks and completely inadequate for serious cooking. Poorly equipped and barely lit. (No scissors, peelers, paring knives, tongs; only 2 large plates, 3 small coffee spoons, lights not working, no tops for fry pans, etc.) Terrific location and other amenities make this a very good choice for two people who don't need or expect a well equipped kitchen.

The only good thing was the location…

This apartment was not at all as listed. The location was good; just a few steps from the Duomo. Other than that, I can’t recommend it. When we arrived, the entire apartment had a foul odor, much like sewage. I contacted the host, who sent someone the next day to address the problem. Still it’s disconcerting that the smell was there in the first place. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, and the elevator barely accommodates 2 people. One morning, it didn’t work at all. The washer/dryer took forever (hours) to dry clothes. The apartment had no natural light, and the electric lighting was insufficient. Sheets and towels seemed to have been used for years. All in all, I would have left after the first night but there was not a hotel room to be had in any decent Florence hotel.

I would like to know why this lady has not found other decent hotels in Florence. I know that my apartment is comfortable, clean, well equipped. It has very large windows in all the rooms and has beautiful natural light. So much so that all the other guests have always given us the maximum score in their reviews. I would like to clarify that when the lady arrived to check in she did not complain of any pleasant smell in the apartment, only the next morning she wrote us a message complaining of a bad smell in the bathroom. We intervened immediately and we noticed that the shower cap had certainly been removed by the customer herself. The building where the apartment is located dates back to 1700, it has a small elevator because at that time the buildings were not built to accommodate elevators.

You could not get a better location, literally one block from the Duomo. Easy check in and great space. Travelled solo, and it was perfect for me.

Great location, excellent communication

This was a great little flat right in the heart of everything. Dimitri was super responsive and accommodating. The pictures do make it look a little bigger than it is, and I wish that VRBO would not allow a one-bedroom + pull out couch to be advertised as two bedroom as I missed that. But that’s on me. We had some small issue with odour on the first day and it was dealt with immediately. Overall it was a great little (and spotless) home base. Does get noisy as the neighbourhood is hopping, but you can’t beat the location.

Perfect Spot

Dimitri was an incredible host. Always able to reach and punctual with replies. The flat itself couldn’t be in a better location. So easy to walk to anywhere you need to get to. The apartment was clean and very quiet. 10/10 recommend to anyone!

This is a great little apartment near the Duomo. It was a central point for all of our activities and a comfortable place to rest when needed. I would definitely book this one again.

Perfectly located, easy access apartment

The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. Special appreciation for the cupboard for storing luggage after we checked out but before leaving town. Let us make the most of our final morning in beautiful Firenze.

Great trip!!

The apartment was great and Ambra was so welcoming & informative at check in! The street are noisy at night so ear plugs are a good idea. We thought it was worth it since the location was absolutely amazing!!! We saved so much time by being in the heart of it all!
