Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und bietet Küchengeräte aus Edelstahl, moderne Utensilien, wundervolle Granitoberflächen und eine praktische Insel. Der große, brandneue Whirlpool für sechs Personen ist der Anfang dieses Hauses - er ist im Deck versunken, sodass Sie sich entspannen und Ihre Muskeln beruhigen können, während Sie die Aussicht bewundern. Sie haben auch Zugang zu einer privaten, langen Treppe hinunter zu einer wilden, felsigen Landung (abhängig von der Flut). Der Weg ist anspruchsvoll und anstrengend. Amazing view and great location!

We rented the house for 3 days. Perfect view and location. Minor problems with finding where to put the garbage and a disposal that didn't work but other wise, it was a choice rental that we'd love to come back to. We did know ahead of time that we'd be sharing the property with renters below so that wasn't a problem.

Million dollar view, but needs a little tlc

PROS: let's get this out of the way.....the view is absolutely stunning. It's perhaps one of the nicest views of the coast line we saw during our entire trip through northern California. One other nice thing, this house is huge for being only three bedrooms. The living and dining rooms have ample space for more people than could sleep there. Lastly, the management company that runs this property were very responsive. We had an issue with the refrigerator and the downstairs tenant, both of which were answered and fixed quickly. We truly appreciated not having to wait hours for a response. CONS: Unfortunately, there are some parts of this house that seem quite dated....especially the bathrooms. They could all use a refresh. Speaking of refresh, the house has a "damp" smell that was off-putting to some of in our group. It got better once we opened all the windows, but didn't go away. Despite seeing multiple ant traps around the kitchen, there were multiple ants found in almost every room. One bed seemed to be a favorite hiding spot for them. Last, and this is probably nit-picky, but a house this big that costs this much should have a washer/dryer. We honestly didn't even think to check the listing when we first booked the property, because we simply assumed that something of this level would have access to laundry. We were hiking through Redwood NP during our stay, and it would have been a huge plus to be able to wash our clothes at the end of the day.

Fabulous house above the ocean

Are you looking for a house with amazing ocean views? This is it! This house has everything, it’s clean, well maintained, quiet, higher end pots and pans in the kitchen, wonderful hot tub looking out to the ocean, 2 spotting scopes, terrific master suite, close to lots of redwood forests., 20 minutes to the airport, top end restaurant just down the very quiet road. We loved staying here. You just can’t go wrong with this super property!

Beautiful house, gorgeous view

We loved the panoramic view and the lovely, spacious home. The house had everything we could want - full kitchen, private bedrooms, always-heated hot tub, 2 wood fireplaces with ample wood, comfortable furniture for movies, internet, and stunning views. It was a girls getaway, and would love to return with my husband.

A most incredible stay!!

Whalerock is a beautifully appointed, elegant and yet comfortable place to stay. Very spacious, comfortable beds and furnishings, and views beyond comprehension. We had the opportunity to meet the owner who is charming and kind and made me feel like I met a new friend. The house is situated in a beautiful area with amazing hiking trails and a lot to explore. We were sad to leave😊

Beautiful site and home but amenities fall short.

For one, they need to update their house manual. It is out of date, grimy and inadequate. We wanted to be good guests but we were at a loss as to what to do with the garbage, composting and recycling, for example, and how to run the disposal. There was no instructions as to how to use the key pad to the front door and only because we had come from a property in San Francisco with a similar keypad, did we know how to manage the dead bolt. It seemed that things were just not well-thought out for guests.....and it started with the street number for the house. It is hard to see. There is no reading light in the third bedroom plus for a property charging as much as they do for a week, the washer or dryer were missed. It should be.noted too that other people will be on the property but we knew that because we had seen it in another guest's review. There were TV's that didn't work and a microwave too. (Why not direct folks to the correct one in the house manual?) We tried to be good guests and use coasters for the wooden tables but there were none to be found. And finally, the entrance way in the house smelled of weed plus the dying poinsettias and orchids and did nothing as far as setting a positive, welcoming tone. Otherwise, a wonderful site with huge potential. We were just left feeling that because the site was so nice, maybe the hosts felt they did not need to make too much of an effort beyond cleaning the house. (And yes it was clean.)

Unbelievably beautiful

The house and location were more than we were expecting. Even though the pictures are beautiful and accurate, seeing the view with your own eyes is necessary to get the full picture. We didn’t want to leave- just stay and stare out the windows. We’d wake up in the middle of the night just to look out and see the view with the moon shining on the ocean. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to experience this home. It is truly special. Sitting in the hot tub watching the sunset was epic. The only downside is that you’re not alone, there are units below. They were quiet but when you have a place like this you really want it all to yourself. I’d still come back though.

Excellent view

The house was amazing and the view was outstanding. The only problem we had is we did not know that the bottom story of the house was being rented out to other people. The guests below us were Terrible and we are very disappointed with our last two nights we rented. With this price point we wanted the house to ourselves privately. Just be aware when you are renting there are other people below and next to you.

The BEST place we’ve experienced in all of our stays throughout our many years of staying elsewhe...

From the moment we drove onto the property we could see a well maintained HOME. As we walked up to the house from the courtyard, we could see through to the ocean through clean windows. What a way to be greeted! It was a stunning sight. Then to walk through the doors into every room that faces the ocean, stunning stunning stunning. We found our mouths open and finally found words. The place was clean looking and there were perks throughout the place. From the gorgeous REAL Orchids displayed in a few places, to the many towels rolled up for us in the kitchen and displayed in the bathrooms. The linens and bedding were all superb. The furniture was inviting with its homey warmth and still offering class and good taste. The binocular table was such a generous touch, and too a well stocked kitchen. Also, there is a table that has several copies of trail maps, and other reading material of the area to read and to plan with. This is a place I felt proud to open the door to the other guests. This place felt homey and warm despite it’s spaciousness. The master bedroom is to die for. This whole place is to die for. We didn’t want to leave and plan to get back. Also, Vacasa reps were GREAT in addressing any and all help we needed. So great for their hands on friendly kind and professional help.
