Laurel Canyon ist eine der bekanntesten Gegenden von LA, die fĂŒr ihre reiche Musikgeschichte und ihre interessante Community bekannt ist. Sehr zentral gelegen, im Herzen von Los Angeles, in der NĂ€he von Hollywood, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, dem Tal und in der NĂ€he von fast allem anderen in der Gegend. Wunderschöne Lage, fĂŒhlt sich an, als wĂ€ren Sie weit weg von der geschĂ€ftigen Stadt LA und doch ganz in der NĂ€he der beliebtesten SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten.

Dies ist ein völlig privater, abgeschlossener und separater Raum auf zwei Ebenen in der HĂ€lfte eines wunderschönen Laurel Canyon-Hauses. KĂŒhle und komfortable obere und untere Ebene - Schlafzimmer und privates Badezimmer auf der oberen Ebene und Wohnbereich / KĂŒchenzeile auf der unteren Ebene. Die GĂ€ste haben den gesamten Raum und die private Außenterrasse fĂŒr sich (es gibt keine GemeinschaftsrĂ€ume mit dem EigentĂŒmer, der auf dem GrundstĂŒck wohnt).

ZusÀtzlich zum Queensize-Bett im Obergeschoss (2 SchlafplÀtze) gibt es im unteren Wohnbereich (2 SchlafplÀtze) eine Reihe von Schlafmöglichkeiten, darunter ein sehr bequemes Sofa (kein Ausziehsofa), eine Isomatte, eine Futonmatratze und ein Schlafsofa ausziehbares Einzelbett.

Es gibt einen kleinen KĂŒhlschrank, Mikrowelle, Kochplatte, Toaster, Kaffeemaschine / Kaffee & Tee, Mineralwasser, Joghurt, Haferflocken und FrĂŒhstĂŒcks-MĂŒsliriegel.

Wonderful

We had a wonderful week in the Laurel Canyon home. The house is very cosy and Stephen is a very attentive and always accomodating host who looks after his guests and gladly provides tips and recommendations for places and views. It took us some time to realize how near this place is to the Universal and Warner Brother Studios and to Hollywood/Sunset Boulevard, Beverly Hills, the Walk of Fame and so on. And the entire Laurel Canyon (at least in April) looks and smells like a Botanical Garden, with lots of large trees, shrubs and flowers, even if most of these are in the private gardens of the surrounding neighborhood and are only be partly visible. I can recommend this home wholeheartedly.

Every bit as funky as the hills that surround it. It’s not traditional - to say the least - but it was fun and charming with a tropical feel. The host was very quick to answer questions and make accommodations. Overall a great experience.

Cute property an easy drive from Sunset but feels miles away in wooded area. A little hard to find in dark based on description. Host was super helpful and very responsive. Property was comfortable and had coffee and snacks which was great! I would recommend individual creamer and sugar for sanitary reasons. Also, the baseboards, floors and ceiling could use a good dusting. It’s a wooded area so, cobwebs and bugs are a given. I would recommend as the location is easy access to everything in Hollywood area and price is great for area. Quiet and relaxing. The Italian place at the bottom of the hill (under the local market) looked awesome but we didn’t get a chance to eat there as we had already eaten dinner when we went in to grabs drinks at the bar.

The location was fantastic. It is close to many coffee shops, restaurants, shopping, and Mulholland drive. It has onsite parking. The house is really nice, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom had everything you could need if you forgot anything or choose to travel light. The living room has good seating with a TV, if your in early enough to watch it. The kitchenette is well appointed with coffee, tea, and breakfast items. The host was very nice and accommodating, one of our party arrived early in the day and he let them check in early. I would love to stay there next time I’m back in LA.

The hosts, the great bed, and the even better shower! This is a must return to property!Steve was extremely patient with our evidently subpar Boomer technology! Although clearly marked, we couldn’t find the entry gate! Once inside However, we felt calm, at peace, and very much grateful to experience the canyon vibes!

We enjoyed our stay. Stephen is a great host, very helpful and even left a few snacks out for our arrival. Probably best to arrive before dark as the hills are steep and the roads are narrow and cell reception is spotty.Having a parking spot is nice, much better than being on the street. Plenty of space for myself and 2 teen sons using the provided air mattresses (the thick 18" ones) and bedding. Shower & bathroom are very nice with lots of hot water. Hope to be back again!

Place was well located and easy to get in and out of but was quite dated, had a musty smell to it, and a bunch of cobwebs throughout. The listing was very inaccurate as it claimed to be a two bedroom house and claimed to have two beds. In fact it is a loft with a queen bed and a lower floor with a couch and then a folding cot that can be made into a bed. I’m sorry but a cot and a sofa are not beds. Was really hot on arrival and we had to request the AC be turned on as this listing is part of the owner’s house and they are the only ones able to control it. My understanding was this was a standalone unit and not a shared home and I booked through VRBO to have that extra level of privacy. To me, that’s a major misrepresentation of this listing as I confirmed with VRBO that rentals are supposed to standalone through their service. Having said all of the above, the owner is really nice and attentive but this rental didn’t meet my expectations. Would be a fine spot for a couple but a bit cramped for two friends not sharing a bed.

We had an amazing time enjoying the beauty and energy of Laurel Canyon while seeing Neil Young at the Hollywood Bowl. It was the perfect spot for our long weekend. Once we got used to driving the tight corners of the neighborhood, we found the location to be incredibly convenient to everything we wanted to do while we were in LA. Las Feliz, downtown, Silver Lake, Melrose, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood - everything was a short drive which is saying a lot for LA. Even with all of those wonderful assets, the best part of this property is the hospitality and responsiveness of our host, Stephen. Stephen anticipated our needs from the time we booked his place to after we checked out. His attention to detail and thoughtful consideration warrants a review higher than 5 stars. Bravo and thank you Stephen!

This spot is very unique, quiet, and comfortable. The host Stephen went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, was always quick to respond via text, and offered great advice/recommendations on to-dos in the area. Just a 7 minute Uber/Lyft ride to the Sunset strip and neighboring restaurants & bars, was a big plus for us! We enjoyed the outdoor patio, comfy bed, & oversized bathroom (great shower temperature & water pressure)!

We absolutely loved this rustic little spot on the hill, close to so many activities and tucked away in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. Stephen was a wonderful host. Would love to stay again!A couple of things that might be helpful for those traveling with kids: there is no kitchen sink and no door to the one upstairs bedroom. Perfect Spot for a Laurel Canyon Immersion

We had a fantastic time staying in Stephen’s place. He is an incredibly helpful and attentive host, and the location was spot on for us. We wanted to immerse ourselves in the musical history of the canyon. We could not have picked a better place!

Quaint but semi cozy

The area is great of course because you can drive anywhere, close to a lot. There aren’t any curtains on the massive windows so when the sun is up, I guess so are you. The blankets and pillows, the extra beds and such were a nice touch. There are kitchen items like a microwave and fridge but there is only one sink, in the bathroom. The space is a converted basement or something, attached to the main home. The communication was there if we did need anything. I would stay for location but the space itself is not “cozy” or vacation like. For traveling professionals this would be great
