A chance to stay in one of the Iconic Mid-Century Modern Boat Houses perched up in the Hollywood Hills! Designed by famed architect Harry Gesner and built by Norwegian boat builders, they've been affectionally nicknamed the Boat Houses. With a clear view of the mountains, canyon, and city lights at night, this is a truly one-of-a-kind experience. Vintage touches throughout.
I will leave you to enjoy your visit but am reachable thru app, text, or cell phone
The Hollywood Hills are great to just pop out and get a good walk in. Also great for walking your dog if you bring them along.
The entire space is yours to use and enjoy - the living area upstairs and the bedrooms downstairs as well as the deck. There is a stairwell that goes down to the backyard. Help yourself to a lemon from the lemon tree! There are small stepping stones if you'd like to go down the hill, but it is steep so do be careful.
Sit on the deck and enjoy the amazing view of the entire canyon, the Hollywood sign, and the city lights in the distance.
WILDFIRES UPDATE:
•Thankfully the Hollywood Hills canyon was not in the path of the fires and the view is intact.
•Currently, we are not allowed to burn wood in indoor fireplaces.
•The smoke smell is not present in our neighborhood but out of concern for invisible particulates, we have installed an air purifier equipped with HEPASilent Technology and a carbon filter to eliminate 99.97% of airborne particles down to .1 micron including pollen, dust, and wildfire smoke. Cleans the entire room 4x every 12.5 minutes. 3 advanced sensors that detect & automatically adjust fans speed to quickly clean pollutants.
