Wonderful!

This is the cutest rental we have ever stayed in, it is a beautiful property! Communication was excellent. Our kids loved the upstairs beds with curtains, and the downstairs bedroom was big enough for our travel crib. Would love to stay again!

Very quaint place to stay. Enjoy the quietness.

We didnā€™t understand having to pay $90.00 for cleaning, then asked to put our sheets in the washer. Also upon arrival, we had to put the rugs down, as they were just piled on the floor, and the dryer was running with bedding in it. Noticed the floors under the couch and chair were not clean, as well as an ink pen on the floor and crumbs at the side entry door. The TV didnā€™t work. Found new batteries and it still didnā€™t work. Otherwise great place!

Real Refuge!

Perfect escape from the stresses of a hard year ~ we wanted seclusion with peace & quiet! Great location away from noise & hustle bustle of a city, but close enough for grocery needs. Cheerful with lots of natural light & surrounded by woods on all 4 sides, with deer peeking in the mornings. Comfortable, quality bedding. The owner was prompt with concerns. The well designed cabin will accommodate many more, but was perfect for a mother/daughter retreat. We brought our own food & loved prepping in the kitchen. Great appliances & bath facilities. We seldom left, but did visit a nearby waterfall. We hated to leave & can't wait to plan a return.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin. Very clean & well stocked. Great location as it felt like we were ā€œin the woodsā€, but only 15 minutes to downtown Cookeville. I would love to stay again.

Serene and luxurious getaway

We really enjoyed this cabin. Every nook and corner has been well thought out. The appliances are top notch, the decor is stunning yet simple, the showers are luxurious with Turkish towels and high quality shampoo and conditioner, and the outdoors has a great stone firepit stocked with wood and comfortable Adirondack chairs. The field gets lit up with fireflies in the evening. The bedroom upstairs is so quaint and my kids loved their personal bedroom reading lights. Note that the winding stairs to get upstairs could be steep for the elderly, but the main bedroom with bath is on the main floor.

Idealic Cabin

One on the best places we have stayed. Great out of the way modern cabin, but close to town amenities. The beds were the best for a good nights rest, would come back just for that. The isolation allowed for great star watching and the smell of fresh cut hay was rich and sweet in the fields. Pictures could not do it justice.

Girl's getaway

This is such a cute property with top of the line appliances and finishes. The only thing I would suggest is to make sure the air is turned down to a comfortable temperature a couple of hours prior to guest arrival. It was super hot and took several hours to cool down. We also felt the need to wipe down the toilets because the seats were not 100% clean. The owner was super helpful in getting in and helping us deal with the air conditioning. We will come back for sure.

Charm and Convenience outside of Cookeville

The Cabin on the Hill offered to us a most welcome respite from the worries and cares of the world, washed away as if by the bursts of thunderstorms we enjoyed watching from the unobstructed views of the surrounding windows, while we relaxed during the day with family and made full use of the well-equipped kitchen to add some comforts of home, enveloped in the charm of the wooded farmland and the firefly nights of early summer. It was a truly serene and pleasant place to rest our feet, heads, and hearts.
