We had a very nice stay on this lakefront property. The Lake Community was extremely quiet and peaceful. The beds were newer and comfortable. Kitchenware was eclectic but plentiful - much more than we've seen elsewhere. There is a washer and dryer with detergent and an extra refrigerator if needed. The wifi worked well. Some of the house furnishings are dated but clean and comfortable. Our grandsons had a blast with the kid toys (cars that moved and made noise, etc.), and there were board and card games for adults. There was no air conditioning, but the property is very well shaded. There were also overhead fans in the bedroom ceilings and stand fans available which helped to keep us comfortable. We understand A/C may be added for 2021.
The large deck has a gate if you have toddlers. There is a fire pit near the water, and plenty of wood available. There are two small kayaks with paddles and life jackets, and an inflatable multi-person float that can be tied to the dock or towed slowly by a kayak. The water is shallow enough for kids even to the end of the dock. There is a lot of sand for kids to play in on the property side of the wood wall, about a foot high, that separates lake from property. Itâs an easy walk down the quiet street to the small community beach with shade, a lifeguard (after noon), picnic tables and a permanent âdiggerâ in a sand pit that our grandsons loved.
We had one issue caused by the previous tenants, and the owner bent over backwards to make it right. Overall, a clean and quiet lakefront house with a very nice property manager and owner. We will definitely consider returning here.
