We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was clean, quiet, cozy, and very comfortable. The hot tub was well-maintained and a great way to relax after a long day. We also loved how private the property felt. The cabin has a few charming older home quirks and is a bit dated, but that just added to its character. The host were fantastic and it was obvious they genuinely cared about making sure their guests had an enjoyable stay. We would definitely stay here again!

I can’t say enough about how impressed we were with both the property and the host, Check-in, communication, cleanliness, and the property itself were all wonderful!! Entry level has the hot tub, two bedrooms, a TV room, bathroom with laundry, and a small kitchenette area. Upstairs is where you’ll find the main kitchen, full bath with tub, 3rd bedroom, living room, and an extra game room we weren’t even expecting. They had an extra table we set up for puzzles. The kitchen had everything we could have possibly wanted. I appreciated that they had good quality cookware, and my husband appreciated the grill on the deck off the kitchen. The view off the deck is AMAZING! Comfortable deck chairs to relax in and listen to nature. We watched an eagle circle overhead while others went exploring around outside. Truly the pictures don’t begin to show how wonderful this property really is. The location is close enough to have access to Rapid City and still be close to the sights like Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse. Literally minutes away are spectacular caves to tour and abundant hiking locations. We stayed over the 4th with several generations and this property was loved by all.

We loved our stay at this cabin near Rapid City! The house was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location is peaceful but still close to all the major attractions—just 40 minutes to Mt. Rushmore and about an hour to Deadwood. The hot tub was amazing after long days of exploring. Plenty of space for kids, and our dog felt right at home too. Perfect place for a family getaway!

The property was not like the pictures at all. It could be a wonderful Cabin, but it’s in serious need of some updating and repairs for safety reasons. The hot tub had so many chemicals in it that it was burning people skin. There is not a gas grill so don’t think there is from looking at the pictures overall very very disappointing.

We're puzzled by the claims in your review, as you never mentioned any issues during your stay—and in fact, did not reach out to us at any point. Had you reported a problem with the hot tub, cleaning, or anything else, we would have addressed it immediately. This is the first we're hearing of these concerns. Regarding the specifics: Our hot tub is regularly maintained to industry standards and had been tested before your arrival. Our listing photos clearly show the grill area and amenities available. We're committed to accuracy in our descriptions and welcome constructive feedback, but we can only improve when guests communicate with us in real-time. We don't offer refunds for stays that occurred without reported issues or complaints, especially when the property was used and enjoyed. We stand behind our property and our maintenance practices. If you have additional concerns or would like to discuss this further, please feel free to reach out directly. For future stays anywhere, we recommend communicating promptly if something doesn't meet your expectations so it can be resolved right away.
