Great stay

The property is spectacular, absolutely beautiful. Only problem we had was we should have booked more time! We would love to stay again, host was quick to respond. Had plenty of clean towles, loved all the coffee and tea options. Overall very nice stay!

MUST STAY...WOW!!!

Paradise by the creek is an incredible place. Soooo many things to point out. We were there for just 1 night so didnt get to take advantage of all the frills like the hot tub (in a scenic location), the game room, or the gym. But what we did enjoy was sitting out on deck and taking in the beautiful scenery and listening to the creek flow. The property has all the regular amenities as well and is totally spotless and and well kept. Also, so you dont think its too far...we had pizza delivered in under half hr so best of both worlds. Next i plan a much longer stay here!!!

Great location and view

Our stay was without issue. As previously stated in other reviews the house needs some tlc and there is a loud noise that periodically turns on that can be disturbing at night. Note that there is only one shower in the house and the bedrooms are close together so it’s alright for family or close friends. The location was nice for visiting Mount Rushmore and the badlands.

Quaint Get Away

This was a beautiful spot, the creek is right next to you and the view was stunning. The main road on the other side of the property was very close to the house but the view and the creek on the other side of the house completely distracts you from the busy road. The hot tub did not work when we arrived however the property manager did compensate us for that and was very apologetic. The home was clean and tidy and even had a dog door for our Aussie. Thanks for the stay!

Loved our Stay

Very comfortable, clean and inviting home. But it's the river that runs through the property that is the icing on the cake. Would stay here in a heartbeat again.

Family Fun - Creating Memories

Idyllic setting

This setting had a beautiful view, was quiet and separate from neighbors, and between the deck, yard, basement, fire pit, and hot tub, had multiple spaces for people to interact. We also appreciated the open dining and living room spaces adjacent to the kitchen, as we were able to set up board games and play while cooking.

Family weekend getaway

Great Night Sleep

We had been traveling for several days and it was nice to have a comfy place to stay. The hot tub was perfect except the ice on the deck. I wish we had stayed longer but we had to get on the road again.

The best!!! Unbelievable location, beautiful!!! Absolutely great communication with the host couple!!! Definitely will be back!!!! If you want peace, and solitude, this is the place!!! The brook that runs past is so nice to just sit by or the kids can wade in it!!!

Excellent place to relax for a wedding weekend

The property is exactly as what is listed, right along Rapid Creek. I recently got married just a couple miles down the road and this property was perfect for members of my wedding party. It was clean, absolutely beautiful and a nice and relaxing place to stay. The hosts were great to work with and were very timely in response to any questions I had. Next time I am in the hills, I will be staying here. Thank you Robert and Jennifer!

Beautiful setting!

We stayed for a long weekend! Getting to the property was not a problem, and the check in process with the host was very easy! The creek flowing through the back was my absolute favorite! It was so peaceful to sit out on the deck in the morning with my coffee and just take it all in. The hot tub was perfect on the cool fall evenings too! It is located right off the highway, but there never seemed to be too much noise from it. We really enjoyed our stay!

Can't beat the view!

Our family loved the snow covered hills, running stream, and the adorable 'pool' house! The communication with owners was fantastic! We spent most of our time in the main living space, but could see the basement area being perfect for a large family needing extra space! Close to town, but far enough to enjoy the Black Hills. Would 100% recommend this property.

Perfect Getaway

The property was absolutely perfect for me and my family’s vacation. It’s location was perfect for seeing both Mount Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Monument. Rapid city was a short 15 minute or so drive into town witch was a huge plus for running into town quickly and being able to maximize or peaceful stay at the property. Best thing about the property was sleeping in the loft in the smaller building by the creek and listening to the creek running though out the night. Couldn’t beet the price compared to staying at a Hotel.

Perfect for Family/-Friends

Great Location. Extremely clean and absolutely beautiful location. On a busy highway but you feel secluded. Disappointed no trout or wildlife were seen. Booked to fish the creek but no one fish seen. Great central location for all the sites, lakes, and tourist spots. Close to Rapid city which was nice. Highely recommend.

Beautiful Home

The photos don’t do justice on how awesome this place is. My wife and I stayed here this past weekend and it was so peaceful. The views were outstanding, the house was clean and welcoming. Jennifer was helpful and you can tell her and her husband cared about the customers experience. This property is amazing. It is a peaceful getaway. I love this home it has Rapid Creek running through the backyard that backs up to the Black Hills National Forest with trees and mountains. There always seems to be plenty of wildlife to watch from mountain goats, and turkeys to deer, and ducks. It's definitely a great escape from reality.

The location alone is unique. It is a serene environment that makes you feel like your in a different world for the little while your there. There is a mini bar with a sleeping loft overlooking the creek. There is a 6ft soak tub in the master bath, with a door to the backyard to hear the water. We have a great walking path that goes around the backyard. We have a nice private backyard.
