Post & Beam Cottage mit offenem Grundriss. Rohes Schnittholz und Hartholzböden sorgen für ein sehr gemütliches Kabinengefühl. Draußen auf dem Grundstück befindet sich eine große offene Terrasse, eine überdachte Veranda, eine Feuerstelle und eine gepflasterte Auffahrt mit einem Basketballplatz. Ein kurzer Spaziergang über einen Privatweg zum Ufer bietet Zugang zu Wasser zum Kajakfahren und zur Erkundung der Raccon Cove. Die Liegenschaft befindet sich auch in zentraler Lage in Lamione und ist nah an allen Annehmlichkeiten, nur 1 1/2 Meilen von Marboro Beach, 1 1/2 Meile von Süßwasserbad im Bloomfield Park am Blunt's Pond und 3 Meilen vom Lamoine State Park entfernt Lamoine Beach. Alle Salzwasserstellen bieten Bootszugang zur Frenchman's Bay. Wenn Sie gerne Golf spielen, ist der Golfplatz Bar Harbor nur 5 Minuten entfernt. Beide Teile von Acadia (Mount Desert Island und der Schoodic Pennisula) und Bar Harbor sind innerhalb von 15 bis 20 Autominuten erreichbar. Just awesome

This cottage is absolutely awesome. We, a german family of 4, had a great time at the cottage. Although the weather was not so good as we expected, we enjoyed our time there very much. The cottage is roomy and so well equipped, it is definitely a home away from home. Thank you so much for being great hosts. We found everything and much more than we were hoping for!

HelloHow should I begin? A rating of 10 out of 10 simply does not do justice to this property. This splendid place has everything one could possibly need to enjoy a laid-back week of pure relaxation. The location is absolutely perfect – close to Acadia and Bar Harbor, yet far enough to avoid the hustle and bustle that everyone else has to endure. It's conveniently near seafood and any shopping needs one might have in Ellsworth.The host deserves better than a 10/10 rating as well. I had forgotten my park pass at home and needed one printed. I sent a text, and the response was prompt and helpful: "I sure will print it and bring it to you." This level of service was truly appreciated. Do I recommend this place? Absolutely. The next time we plan a vacation to Maine, this will be the first place I look for when checking availability.Best regards

We had such a wonderful time here in Lamoine! Close to Acadia but away from the crowds to explore the MANY beautiful trails and awesome coastline. So nice to have a home away from home to clean up and refresh for the next day’s adventures. We loved evenings under the stars at the fire pit and enjoyed the versatility of the kitchen and grill for meal prep. Everyone could find solace in a little place to hide from each other from the playground to deck to bedrooms- plenty of space to spread out. And yes, bring the bikes because the carriage roads and Schoodic are worth it!!! Thank you for a great stay!

We had a wonderful time. The place was exactly as the pictures show. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of room for our family of 6 adults, an infant and a dog. It was very quiet which was wonderful. We enjoyed going to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. We enjoyed lots of yummy food and just had a wonderful family week. Perfect Cabin

The cabin was the perfect size for our family of 4 and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the outside decks & firepit as well as the peaceful surroundings. We explored Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park. Ellsworth, and saw fireworks from Marlboro beach. The only reason we gave a 4 star rating for cleanliness was because the microwave and some of the dishes/silverware had not been cleaned or not cleaned well which were minor issues. Otherwise, the cabin was clean. Overall, we enjoyed the location and would rent the cabin again.

Fantastic stay!

We loved our stay here and hated to leave. The home is clean and bright. The bedrooms are all comfortable with plenty of room to store your belongings. The loft is cozy and a nice spot to curl up and read a book. The downstairs is open and spacious - which is fantastic if you have a larger crew with you! The porch/deck has plenty of seating for gathering. It is perfect for enjoying the quiet of the morning with your coffee, the sunrise, and neighborhood deer. A portion of the porch/deck is covered so you can sit out there on those rainy days or stay dry while grilling dinner. The yard is large and perfect for any outdoor games you might want to bring with you. The property is perfectly located off the beaten path, yet a short drive to Acadia and surrounding areas. After walking around town or long hikes in Acadia, it is nice to have a quiet and relaxing home to return to. Marlborough Beach is around the corner - it is not a traditional sandy beach so don't expect to set up a sand chair with the kids, but it is a great spot to catch the gorgeous sunsets while looking for beautiful rocks and shells (beware of mosquitos!) Nate was fantastic with communication, and I hope we have an opportunity to rent from Nate and Becky again. You won't regret your stay here.

Great place to take our granddaughter!

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. Our granddaughter loved playing on the swing and slide. The yard was very large which was great for our dogs to play. Nate was very responsive when we had an issue with the microwave which turned out to be unplugged (that was embarrassing 😳). The porch was nice for morning coffee. Sadly we did not have an opportunity to use the fire pit.

Relaxing and Peaceful

Great cottage for tourists that don’t want to be in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Nate and Becky were great at answering any questions I had and provided a beautiful, clean, well maintained cottage! The outdoor space was perfect for morning coffee, daytime lawn games and evening fires! The beach is only a few miles away and was great to take walks and picnics, Bar Harbor and Acadia Park was just a 20-25 minute drive and the town of Ellsworth was perfect for shopping and had all we needed to make our stay comfortable.

This was our second time at this house and if available next year we are thinking of booking again. It checks all the boxes comfortable, very relaxing after hiking in Acadia, lots of space, dog friendly, just a great house.

Relaxing and beautiful family-friendly getaway

Lovely spot on the mainland close to Acadia Nat'l Park! The basketball court was great for our 9-year-old; our 6-year-old spent hours on the play structure. We loved making s'mores at the fire pit. Beautiful wide open skies at night. The Schoodic Peninsula was gorgeous and an easy drive, as were our favorite spots on Mt. Desert Island. Would definitely stay here again!
