Maisonette-Wohnung "4 Sterne" befindet sich direkt am Meer, weniger als 100 Meter von den beiden Hauptstränden eines alten katalanischen Hauses entfernt. Zwei schöne Schlafzimmer, eines mit Terrasse mit Blick auf die Dächer des Dorfes, die Maisonette im zweiten und dritten Stock des Hauses. Vorne herrlicher Blick auf die Bucht zwischen dem Königsschloss und dem Kirchturm der Kirche, der ins Meer stürzt.
"Mailly" ist eine "4-Sterne-Wohnung" im Dorf, direkt am Meer, 100 m von den beiden größten Stränden des Dorfes entfernt. Sie genießen zwei große Schlafzimmer mit eigener Terrasse mit Blick auf die alten Dächer des alten Dorfes. Die Lounge und der Speisesaal bieten einen einzigartigen Blick über die Bucht. Es gibt ein WC und ein Badezimmer auf jeder Ebene, um ausreichend Komfort und Privatsphäre zu bieten.

We loved this apartment. The view and location were unbeatable, making us want to eat all our meals in (because what could be better?), the apartment was clean and very well equipped, check in and out was easy, Bernard was kind and accommodating, and the rooms were perfect. Wonderful location!

We had a lovely time in Collioure. Bernard was a great host. He was very accommodating with our late arrival and had some great suggestions for dinner and sightseeing. I would highly recommend the apartment though not sure if it sleeps 6. There is a double bed and two twin beds. It was comfortable for 4.

Magical Stay!

We were astonished by both our host, Bernard - gracious and witty and generous to a fault! and his apartment - spacious, beautifully situated, filled with art, staring out at the castle and the bay. We were enchanted by the whole stay, and didn’t want to leave. I only wish we would have an opportunity to return!

This apartment is wonderful! The balconies face the sea and the promenade, the view is beautiful. It’s roomy and well-furnished, and is very comfortable. Seriously, we were the envy of everyone strolling the waterfront!

This property is perfect. Everything you could need is there and to get up in the morning to that wonderful view is magical. We loved our stay. The apartment is handy for the beach, restaurants and the little shops. We loved staying in Bernard’s apartment. He was so welcoming and informative. We can’t wait to come back.

Superb position in beautiful Collioure

A real gem - in a superb location overlooking one of Collioure’s beaches and in easy walking distance to all of the attractions, museums and galleries. The private, secure garage is a great feature too, with enough room to park a large, long estate car! The host was very attentive to our needs and made us feel at home from the beginning of our stay (despite us being held up in traffic making us 2 hours late!)

Bernard’s apartment is a magical place. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, well stocked, and very clean. The location and views are exceptional. No better location in Collioure. Bernard was a pleasure and personally met us to show us the apartment, advise on local eateries, etc. Can’t say enough…other than we hope to return soon!

Special place in a perfect location

This apartment has character and is perfectly placed to enjoy the sea, the town and for travel. The hosts are helpful and kind. It has all you need in terms of equipment for the kitchen etc as well as being beautifully decorated with art and antique crockery, attractive linens and so on. We were quite hot in the night at first, fans are provided, but soon became accustomed. The view over the town and sea is better than any TV! Thank you for a lovely stay

Stunningly beautiful

Words cannot express the beauty of Collioure and from our accommodation the unique beauty and fascinating history of the area was laid out before us. The view from the balcony is like being in a dream or like being taken back in time. Sit and watch the boats coming and going, gaze over at the castle and tower. It truly felt like we had gone back in time and yet with all of the conveniences of a very well equipped apartment and beautiful little town that offered everything we needed. Amazing view, well equipped apartment

We had a lovely stay in this wonderful apartment. The hosts are friendly and welcoming, and the apartment is nicely decorated, comes with an amazing view and is the most well equipped we ever rented. Good beds, washing maschine, fully equipped kitchen. Clean. The apartment is placed right in the middle of old town by the busy street so everything is really close by. No need for a long walk to get that small town vibe and it really made our daily life easy. Teens loved it! The only drawback is it was quite hot when we visited, and difficult to get the room temperature down to normal, even with the fans working full time.

Best flat in Collioure!

This is the second time we stayed in this flat. The first was five years ago, for one week. We loved it so much we stayed three weeks this time. The flat is fully equipped, clean, spacious, and comfortable. There is nothing as perfect as sitting on one of the two living room balconies overlooking the beach and harbor, whether people-watching, enjoying wine, cheese, and baguettes from one of the many local shops, or trying your hand at a watercolor painting of the famous bell tower. The upstairs deck off the master bedroom is wonderful for enjoying a nightcap while watching the sun go down over the village rooftops. Trust me, there is not a better combination of view, location, and value to be found in Collioure! To top it all off, the hosts are beautiful people, warm and charming.

My wife and I travel a lot and frequently use VRBO to find unique, well-looked after, welcoming properties. This is a wonderful apartment in an unbelievably beautiful location in the old town of Collioure, France. The balcony overlooks the beach. It is situated in a traffic-free zone of the old city. All amenities needed for a wonderful stay are accessible with a less than 5-minute walk to the supermarket, the tourist office, wine stores and mutliple excellent restaurants. The host Bernard Desclaux speaks English perfectly. He was there to greet us as arranged and gave us the keys. He gave us excellent advice about restaurants and where to find things that we needed. He also gave us very helpful advice about how to ride on the Little Yellow Train into the Pyrenees which is a "must-do" 1-day's adventure when in Collioure. The people in Collioure, especially shop and restaurant staff, are kind, polite, and very tolerant of our poor French - actually most spoke good English. The apartment also povides some fitness training because it is accessed by climbing two steep flights of stairs, which was no problem for us except when arriving with 3 very heavy cases. The facilities were clean, well-supplied and well maintained, including bottled water and a bottle of white wine to welcome us. The ambience of the apartment is that of a charming family home. Bernard told us that he was born there. If there was a 5-star category, we would award it to this apartment and host.

A gem of the apartment at the heart of Collioure

This apartment is the only place I have ever rented in my life where you can stay inside and still it will be worth every penny because of the view.... which is simply incredible. You have the prime view of Collioure bay, you can sit on the balcony and just enjoy the life strolling by... which we did on many occasions. However, if you want to enjoy the clean cooling waters of the Mediterranean, the beach is literally in front of the house - it can't get any better or more convenient. If you are looking to rent this apartment, you probably know about Collioure - you can spend the entire week here and never be bored, or you can drive around to places like Castelnou, Céret, Amelie-les-Bains, Eus, etc. Not to mention Perpignan, which is 20 minutes away by train. There is a market every Sunday and Wednesday where you can buy delicious things. You can walk up to Fort St. Elme and enjoy the stunning views of vineyards, the smells of fennel and lavender, and the only sounds you will hear are the birds.... so many of them. The apartment itself is well stocked and wonderfully decorated. We cooked in the apartment on several occasions and we found all the utensils that we need. The shower is nice and strong. I would advise tall people to watch the door sills on the upper level, they are rather low so you need to bow your head a little... or not, and then you will remember to, next time. A few words to be added about the host family. Mr. Bernard Desclaux is a wonderful, gracious host, who welcomed us to his ancestral home; it was wonderful to learn what this house means to his family; there is something special to be welcomed to the house which was a home to several family generations. We felt like we were guests, not just renters.

perfekter Aufenthalt

die zentrale Frage, die man sich hier mehrmals am Tage stellen musste war: setze ich mich auf den Balkon direkt vorne mit Blick aufs Meer und die flanierenden Leute oder eher auf die privatere kühlere Terrasse eine Etage höher oder gehe ich doch noch eine Runde schwimmen. Besser entspannen geht nicht.

Glücksfall

Für uns war es das pure Glück in dieser Wohnung sein zu dürfen und die Aussicht ist einfach unschlagbar! All die täglichen Dinge waren vorhanden, nichts musste gekauft werden ( WC Papier etc.) Die Einrichtung ist stilvoll, man ist mitten in Collioure, der Glacier und das Café gleich nebenan. Und nicht zu toppen: die private Garage zur Wohnung! Bernard ist der beste Host überhaupt, gab uns spannende Tips, ist hilfsbereit und grosszügig, wir fühlten uns ganz einfach wie zu Hause. Einen grossen Dank nochmals an Bernard, wir hoffen schon jetzt auf ein nächstes Mal. L und J

Mooi appartement aan de baai van Collioure

Mooi appartement, direct aan de baai van Collioure, met uitzicht op strand en zee vanuit de woonkamer. Balkon aan de voorzijde om in de zon te zitten, uit de wind wanneer die vanaf het land waait. Goed uitgerust huis, alleen de wifi/internet laat te wensen over (te traag).

Emplacement parfait, garage à proximité. Un seul bémol: la télé ne fonctionnait pas correctement.
