Hill Haven ist eine komplett renovierte, hübsch eingerichtete Eigentumswohnung mit 2 Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern in Carolina Beach mit großartigem Meerblick und Zugang zu 2 Swimmingpools. Dies ist eine Einheit in der obersten Etage, die sich direkt gegenüber vom Strand befindet und über 2 fantastische Decks mit großartiger Aussicht verfügt. Dieses Gerät bietet Waschmaschine und Trockner in der Einheit, voll ausgestattete Küche und Bäder und Fliesenböden im gesamten. Das Hauptschlafzimmer ist wunderschön mit einem Queensize-Bett eingerichtet. Das zweite Schlafzimmer verfügt über zwei Etagenbetten und ein zusätzliches Einzelbett. Im Wohnzimmer befinden sich zwei Ausziehsofas. Sie können zum Carolina Beach Pier gehen, um zu angeln oder die Aussicht zu genießen. Der Pier hat auch ein Restaurant und eine Bar. We had a great time on our stay, the location was perfect! Loved both front and back decks, the view was so lovely. The online descriptions and pictures were accurate. It was helpful to read the comments of others so we were prepared for the stairs. It took us an awhile to figure out which pool was ours but once we did it was nice as there was a hose to clean off the sand.

Few inconveniences

Carolina Beach has always been a selected destination for us. The property had many positives but also some negative details. Proximity to the Beach was awesome. No noise, and tranquil neighbors. The location is too far away from entertainment and restaurants. Need a vehicle to reach dinner places. The apartment was spacious yet cozy. The Beach view from the balcony was very welcome. Some negative aspects: The internet service signal was so poor, none of the streaming devices worked. Cable did not work in the living room TV. The previous bed linen had been left in the sofa beds and appeared used and dirty. Had to change them both with the provided linen. The bed mattresses were of poor quality and extremely hard to sleep in. The kitchen had very limited things. NO ONE xtra trash bags were provided. A huge negative aspect was parking. Even though we had 2 parking permits, there were no spaces left on the busy holiday weekend. We had to pay street parking several times even though we had paid for our stay on premises. Suggestion is to have assigned parking spots. Another detail is the far away office where we needed to pick up the parking permits and key fobs. That was inconvenient and inpractical.There was NO outside grilling capabilities. The pool was extremely small and crowded. Not very inviting or healthy.Overall, we made the best of the situation and had a fantastic stay “making lemonade out of lemons”!!

It was a nice experience

Beautiful condo, amazing ocean view! Absolutely loved the short walk to the beach! The balcony is so nice, we enjoyed several meals out there! The place looks and feels clean. Pools are a bit inconvenient to get to. Stairs leading up to the unit, are rough, get prepared for a workout, especially bringing your luggage, groceries, etc. up stairs. Pack your own blankets, we weren’t able to use the blankets provided, they were thrown in a closet, clearly not washed between guests since they smelled. Pack toilet paper, hand soap, trash bags, none of that is provided. Other than for those few things, we really enjoyed our stay.

Pleasant beach view

Nice property, good location and pools. The only drawbacks were 3rd floor and no elevator,(this was clearly shared in the location write up) and only 2 parking passes, not clearly communicated in write up.

Nice location and views of sunset

The only downside of this unit would have to be the stairs. Walking up and down with groceries was not fun. Otherwise, the location is great and the views of the ocean and sunset from the decks were nice. The listing indicated 2 pools were available but upon check-in was only told about one. This wasn’t a huge problem because the pool wasn’t occupied by more than a few swimmers at any time. This unit had everything our family of 6 needed and was clean and comfortable. It’s a short walk to the pier, beach access, and pool but may be too long to the boardwalk. Highly recommend the Mahi sandwich from the pier restaurant as well. Overall a great stay!

Great Place

The place was perfect for us and the location was great too! The only problem is parking space. You are only allowed (2) parking spaces. If you have more than that, you have to pay for "public parking" which is about $20.00/daily.

Good location and place, just needs some upgrades

Overall, it was a nice property. It was a good size for four people and had some great attributes.The view from the balcony was by far the best part. You could open the slider and hear the ocean so well. The kitchen was also great with all appliances you could need to cook. Everything seemed clean enough, and all towels and linens were wrapped in cling wrap to show they were cleaned. However, some pieces of furniture need replacing- the queen bed did not feel stable at all and the black couch in the living room had zero support when sitting down, which only made one of the couches reliable to actually sit on. The bathroom in the hallway, during the shower the water doesn’t drain right away, so all the little hairs and dirt in the drain come up and fill up the tub. Other than those things that need to be updated, it was a good stay in Carolina Beach.

Very clean and updated nice condo

The condo was very clean and had everything inside we needed. The view of the ocean was awesome and the short walk to the beach was great too. You do have to pick up keys and drop off keys to the property management company which was about 7 minutes driving. Not a big deal at all. Property management was excellent, very attentive! They did say there were beach chairs and they only had one that was not broken which was disappointing since there were four of us. All in all it was a great stay.

Perfect Location

Check in process was super simple, property was just as advertised and was in a perfect location. We loved that you could see the ocean from the balcony and the beach access was just a couple minute walk. Property was clean and all linens were provided. Is also a short drive to the boardwalk and within walking distance of the pier. Would definitely stay again!

Down by the Sea - Formally Hill Haven

We had a wonderful time enjoying our family beach trip. The condo was plenty enough room for my immediate family of 5 and my sister, my niece and my mother. The porches provided awesome sunrise and sunset views. Access to the beach is literally right across the street. The kitchen provided everything we needed to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner. The mattresses were comfy, even the sofa pullout! We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our weekend stay at this condo. It was very clean, recently updated and nicely furnished. The two balconies and ocean view were great! The only negative is the narrow hallway and stairs to the third floor :)

This place was exactly what we needed. Great condo and location. The beach view was awesome. We have never stayed where we could hear the ocean from our condo. We left the balcony door open most of the time.

Wonderful

The unit was excellent. Nice view of the beach. We had dinner on the balcony most nights. The Managent was very responsive. The only reason for a 4 for cleanliness was the old, carpeted and not so clean staircase leading to the condo. Otherwise I highly recommend this unit.

Perfect

My family had a wonderful time at this condo. The balcony and view at the condo were amazing. The pool was great and the beach was rejuvenating. Communication with the property manager was good. You do have to drive to their office for a parking pass, which was inconvenient given we arrived late at night. I didn’t understand why that couldn’t have just been left inside the condo. Be mindful there is no elevator and the condo is on the fifth floor. The main bedroom bed is only a double. It was very small and uncomfortable for two people in my opinion. Otherwise we enjoyed this location!
