Relaxing stay and great host

I have been to the resort previously and first time stayed at Franks apartment. As a host Frank ensures you have a pleasant stay and goes above and beyond to support. I had some issues with dates when booking and he helped with this and also issues around receiving emails. When staying at the apartment everything you would need to enjoy your holiday was available. My sons who stayed with me enjoyed the tennis and the pool was always quiet during our stay. Good instructions and information around local areas of interest and would recommend. If your looking for a lively resort this isn’t the place but if your looking for a relaxing stay and accommodating host then it’s ideal.

A fantastic place to stay

When I booked, I saw the feedback was extremely positive. This made me feel confident in the booking. I was not let down. Everything you need is there, even a hairdryer and hair straighteners. The settee within the front room is a double sofa bed and was very comfortable. There are items on the balcony for use. We borrowed the umbrella and took it to the beach. It was like a home from home. My youngest even enjoyed watching Netflix on occasion. The site itself has a vast number of swimming pools, which we ventured to. It has playgrounds and an onsite restaurant, bar and Spar supermarket. To find the property, it is some way down over a roundabout, then just past an underground car park by the bins. It is set back from the parking spaces. The kitchen has every facility needed, including a washing machine in a room off the kitchen. The apartment's view of the swimming pool and golf course made for a beautiful view. As we arrived late, the key was easy to obtain. Frank was straightforward to communicate with, which was very reassuring. When we entered the apartment, there was a welcome pack for us, which I will not go into as it would spoil the surprise. Suffice it to say; some items lasted the whole week. This apartment and Frank are highly recommended.

God's Waiting Room in a POW Camp

Property...couldn't really fault it apart from a lack of hot water for the shower, which we think was low pressure in the boiler. The location...golf course was pretty good, the cost of golf (€64) was quite high...others in the local area were as low as €52. Noisy at times due to the "horseshoe" layout, so you could hear everything anyone was saying in a normal voice across the pool. We were disturbed by this on one night up to 2 a.m., two young boys throwing a ball against the wall at 3.30 am and the Spanish couple arguing until 4.45 a.m. Not great! The restaurant and bar was very small for the size of the site and there were no others to choose from unless you wanted to drive 2/3 miles to Sucina...meaning one of you had to drive and not drink. Sucina (local town)...a few bars (one of them closed at 4pm!), a couple of restaurants and a couple of stores, which were more expensive than the ones in San Javier 16 kms away. Local residents...didn't really have much in the way of conversation unless it was about the feral cats, lack of water, ladies that lunch, golf dinner/dance, and anything they could moan about with regard to the maintenance of the site. Would I buy an apartment here...definitely not. Would I go on holiday here again...sadly no, but the apartment itself and the weather were great.

Hi Mark , Thank you for your very kind and frank review . I apologise for the shower temperature ; because of the heat in Spain , water accumulates in the gas pipes and causes low Boiler Pressure . We have a regulator fitted to drain -of the condensate . This is a simple fix and had you phoned either our keyholder ( Sally ) or myself this could have been rectified in minutes . With regard to your sleep disturbance-----The resort has 24hr. Security ( Their number is in the , "Handy-hints" folder ) . You should not have tolerated this behaviour , the Security are very good and even eject people from the site for the kind of behaviour you describe . Sorry the resort did not live up to your expectations . I will pass-on your very astute comments to the management committee . Thanks for taking the time to reply . Best regards , Frank .

La estancia ha sido agradable

La casa esta muy bien y es acogedora, el propietario ha estado pendiente y ha resuelto en un tiempo muy breve cualquier duda o consulta. La piscina esta estupenda y el sitio en general es super tranquilo y se siente bastante paz. En la limpieza tenia varios puntos que no estaban en condiciones, el microondas estaba lleno de cositas de algo, los vasos estaban sucios, pero bueno, por lo demas estaba bien limpio, sin polvo ni nada. Y es un sitio para llevarte la compra hecha, por que el sitio mas cercano esta a unos 25km. Mis hijos y yo hemos estado muy agusto. Un saludo

Es el segundo año que elijo este apartamento, su situación es excelente y tiene todo tipo de comodidades. La comunicación con el propietario es muy buena y responde rápidamente. Séjour FARNIENTE !!! (Soleil et Piscine)

Bonjour, Nous avons passer un excellant séjour. L'appartement est comme décrit et la vue sur les photos sont bien réelles. C'est ce que l'on a vu et admirer. La résidence est très bien protégé par les vigiles, et calmes. Nous avons du soleil et 30°C pendant tous le séjour... Ça été magnifique!!! La piscine est ultra agréable et la température de l'eau est bonne. Les activités aux alentours sont intéressantes. On reviendra... Merci Frank .

A very tranquil, beautiful and peaceful resort. The people/neighbours are very friendly. It is great for all types of holidays, whether away for a peaceful break,with your family or with your children all can enjoy! The complex is run and owned by the individual apartment owners and as such is well looked after, fully equipped and maintained. A very relaxing atmosphere which must be experience and enjoyed with every amenity within walking distance.

The apartment has beautiful traditional and agricultural views. The apartment overlooks the swimming pool and part of the golf course. When you take a stroll around the resort, you will see the orange and lemon groves or sit back and listen to Spanish music at the Hacienda. Within walking distance is the town of Sucina, where you can enjoy more restaurants, bars, shops and also a Roman Catholic church.
