LOU’S PLACE – Ground-Floor 2-Bed Bungalow (Albatros)

10-Min Walk to the Beach • Air-Con & Infrared Heating • Secure Gated Complex with Parking

Lou’s Place is a bright, modern, fully furnished ground-floor 2-bedroom bungalow on the lovely Albatros complex. The development is secure with gated access and on-site parking, set in a peaceful area yet only 500m from the main Plaza with a great selection of bars, restaurants, cafés and shops — and just a 10-minute stroll to the beautiful Mar Menor beaches.

Please note: A €60 cleaning fee is payable on arrival. This has already been reflected in the reduced nightly price.

Inside the Property

The living area is comfortable and inviting, fitted with air-conditioning for the summer and modern infrared heating for the winter months, ensuring a cosy atmosphere all year round.

For entertainment, there is a flat-screen smart TV, Xbox with games, fibre-optic internet and IPTV with the full Sky package (Sky Sports, Sky Movies), plus a full movie library, box sets and catch-up TV.

Both bedrooms have two single beds, wardrobes and drawers, and both benefit from air-con and infrared heating. The main bedroom also includes a safe for added security.

A highchair and travel cot are available at no extra charge.

Outdoor Space

At the front of the bungalow is a large private patio with a table and seating for six — perfect for outdoor dining or relaxing in the sun.

The complex offers a 20m communal pool along with a separate children’s pool, making it an excellent choice for families.

The location is peaceful yet extremely convenient — less than a 5-minute walk to shops, bars and restaurants, and just a 10-minute stroll to the Blue Flag beach of Los Alcázares. The nearest golf course is only 2 km away.

Great stay home from home. Louise is an excellent host who has gone above and beyond. Location is good to bars restaurants and beach. We had a car which meant we were able to go see a little more as the area is small but has everything you need. Beyond expectations

Lous place is amazing, everything you could ever need was thought of, perfect location too. Linda who met us with the keys couldn’t be any nicer. We are hoping to come back in the future to Lou’s place again. Honestly can’t describe how perfect it was!

Super Location

Beach was just a 10 minute walk away. It was a lovely beach with a great promenade ideal for an evening stroll. The shops and restaurants were very close and offered plenty of choice. Can't fault the apartment, it was just as described and had everthing we needed. We would certainly reccommend this property and area to our friends and family and we are looking forward to returning next year.

Clean and tidy with everything you need

Louise was great from the second we booked her apartment keeping us updated on any changes, always replied to any of my quirys within 24hours even help find a mobility shop close to where we was staying. Louise also arranged pick up from airport. We had such a relaxing 2 weeks holiday, there is a communal pool which as it's own life guard but it does get a little busy in the school holidays. But that didn't stop us from having fun. There is a short walk to the town where there is bars, restaurants and you local supermarket. The beach is beautiful we loved the beach the sea is warm and full of minerals and you can walk far out with no unexpected drops. The appartment has everything you need even WiFi which was great seems we had our teenage daughter with us. I would definitely come back and would also recommend to anyone who want a great relaxing holiday. Thanks Louise x

Sehr gut !!!

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Wohnung war Super. An viele Kleinigkeiten wurde gedacht wie z.B. Spielsachen für Kinder, Hochstuhl, Reisebett etc. Sehr gepflegte abgeschlossene Anlage. Strand und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten nur 10 min. entfernt. Auto nicht unbedingt notwendig. Nur wenn man einen Ausflug machen möchte. Wir werden sicher nochmal buchen.

De los mejores alojamientos. Recomendable 100%

Llevamos muchos años de alquiler tanto en Semana Santa y en verano y con sinceridad, Lou's Place es de los mejores alojamientos que hemos estado, tiene absolutamente de todo en cuanto equipamiento de la casa para pasar unos días tranquilos. En otros alojamientos que hemos estado hemos tenido que comprar hasta la sal, y aquí tiene toallas, tumbonas, sombrilla, realmente tiene de todo... La zona es muy tranquila, con vigilante de seguridad, la zona de la piscina está también bien y poder poner sombrillas y no ir buscando la sombra de las palmeras es un punto a tener en cuenta. El aparcamiento es comunitario y sin problema para poder aparcar dentro Tanto la entrada como la salida, la comunicación con Linda fue todo perfecto. El año que viene repetimos.

Appartement bien situé géographiquement. Nous avons apprécié le parking fermé , le calme de l'endroit , la propreté des alentours et de la piscine . Seul bémol, la literie des 4 lits est à revoir. Pour nous 4 adultes c'était une catastrophe !!

Thank you for the review and glad you found everything to your satisfaction, although I am puzzled by your comment regarding the bedding. The bedding is in very good condition and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it and I don't understand your comment about about the bedding being a disaster for 4 adults. Maybe your interpretation has got lost in translation. I buy new bedding quite often and infact it has been renewed since you left, so if there was a problem it had now been resolved

Great all round

A holiday was desperately needed after a year of exam stress etc. Everything about this holiday went like clockwork because of the great lady that owns the place. Ryanair cancelled our flight at short notice but Louise accommodated our changes so we could still enjoy the break. The property is lovely . Everything is provided you could need even down to a welcome pack of tea/coffee milk etc so you don’t have to go shopping on arrival. That said there is a great supermarket within 5 minute walk. Louise also arranged transfers to and from airport for us which went seamlessly. You are met at the property and shown the ropes and at the end of your stay you simply hand over the keys to the lady that you saw at the start. We ate out every night bar one at the plaza which is a short stroll away. The fabulous beach is a further 5 minutes away on foot. Everywhere is flat and well paved so if you struggle getting around this is good they even have wheelchair areas at beach where the guards help those unable to get into the sea are taken out on a bit of kit. Nice market on a tuesday locally and stalls along the 7 km long prom regularly selling handcrafted stuff. Book it you will love it.

Brilliant apartment

One of the best places we have ever stayed in. Everything was thought of and provided. Linda met us on time and also when we left to collect the keys. We love this area anyway and the drive from the new Corvera airport was a lot easier than we thought it would be. We didn't get to use the pool facilities as we were there in Feb, but we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lou's Place. The only very small problem is that you don't get the sun on the front terrace, but otherwise it's great.

Thanks for the lovely review Sharon it is really appreciated and thanks for letting us know that the drive from Corvera is ok as we are yet to try it as it's only been open a few weeks. The Sun, unfortunately, does disappear from the front terrace during the winter months, but it does smile on us again around the beginning of April and until then the pool area has full sun and is just around the corner.

Fantastic location 10 minutes from airport, Sandra who met us at the airport was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Louise the owner was very prompt with replies and kept in touch prior to our arrival and when we got home. Accommodation was lovely and had everything you needed to enjoy your stay. Welcome pack was an added touch. Would highly recommend to anybody wanting a relaxing holiday with all your home comforts. We enjoyed it that much we are looking at returning next year.
