Diese Villa verfügt über 2 klimatisierte Schlafzimmer mit Kingsize-Bett und Türen an den gegenüberliegenden Enden des großen Zimmers. Jeder Meister hat ein eigenes Bad und Schieberegler zu privaten Decks, die auch auf das Pooldeck herabsteigen.

This villa was absolutely perfect for our family of four! Perfect location and beautiful view. The pool and hot tub were amazing. The beds were comfortable and the rental company provided so many things like beach chairs, beach towels, and a cooler. We hope to be back soon!

House was great. The only complaint was the worms that would magically appear in the house but not much you can do about that. Water was too cold to swim but it was beautiful! Loved the view. Best part for me was eating breakfast outside watching the sun rise. Really enjoyed our stay.

The place was very nice. Mo helped us rent a car when L&L gave ours away even though we had a confirmation. Everyone was very helpful. The TV didn't work well.

At least most of the photos are current now.

I paid in full, because it was required, 8 months before my stay. I chose this property based upon the view, as my wife was battling cancer and she might only be able to sit in the yard and enjoy the view. I communicated with the property manager and the island greeter a few days before the visit and after our flight landed. The greeter asked me to text her when we were on the ferry that I told her we would be taking. I texted her from the ferry and she immediately called me and said that she wouldn’t be able to meet me at the ferry to take me to the house. She asked if I could meet her at the house as she was helping another customer now, and that she left the door open. I said sure as I have stayed in Chocolate Hole houses several times. I just needed the address as VRBO doesn’t give you that information. Regardless, I was surprised as the greeters usually only spend 5 minutes with you at the house and the houses are just 10 minutes from the ferry. How could she have another customer when my arrival time didn’t change for the past 3 days? Anyway, she forgot to send me the address and my wife and I were lost trying to find the property. After I texted her again, she sent me directions. By now 1/2 hour had passed and she was still unavailable. We arrived at the house and it was 85 degrees inside. Could you open some windows at least? Then I went to the pool area to get some cool air and I was shocked to see a view obstructed by a huge electric pole and wires that were right at eye level. I was immediately saddened. We were lied to by the owner using old photos of the view before the electric pole was installed a long time ago. The view was the number one reason that I rented this property as it might be the only thing that my wife could enjoy on this vacation after undergoing a tough chemotherapy treatment for the past 6 months. Another 30 minutes passed and the greeter finally arrived at the house. The worst service that I ever had in my many times that I rented on St John. I reached out to the property manager to complain and she laughed. She said that the owner hated the electric pole and wires ruining the view as well. I called VRBO as well, and after being disconnected twice after holding for 1/2 hour each time, a manager took my info and said that they would get back to me to resolve the issue. Still waiting for that call back four weeks later. Just understand that the view looks like a city block not an ocean view

Eric, We are sorry that you were disappointed by your stay at our home. We put a lot of love, effort and care into providing a peaceful place for guests to experience and enjoy the sights, sounds, breezes and views that our unique location provides. As you know, there is a very expansive view from our decks of Devers Bay and the islands beyond. Yes, there is an electric line in the view, but in most lighting situations it is barely visible. We have owned our home for 35 years and there has always been an electric line on the bay side of the house and an electric pole at the far left side of the view. The pole that is now there is a new composite pole that replaced the wooden one that existed previously and which was demolished in Hurricane Irma. Most of Chocolate Hole now has these much sturdier poles which are designed to withstand hurricane force winds. We are also sorry that your experience with the greeter and with your initial entry to and impression of the villa was disappointing. This is the first that we have heard of an unsatisfactory greeting and introduction to our home, and we have let our house manager know of your concern. We have had many guests who have had wonderful visits to French Cap and who have let us know how much they loved our home, its peacefulness, its sounds and its incredible views. We are sorry that we could not please you as well. We do hope that your next visit to St. John will be a more pleasant one for you. Property is very nice, view was great. The living area got very warm during the day and the fans did little to help. Bedrooms were nicely cool. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Great Location

Beautiful house in a great location. Close drive to Cruz, but far enough to be nice and quiet when you want it. Great stargazing from the hot tub.
