Synthia: Wow! At 7:15 am this morning, a big mamma sea turtle sliding back from the dune to the water line then floated and swam swiftly into the sea. Zorro was obviously chasing birds never even noticed big mamma. Thank you it is pleasure making your acquaintance and especially knowing the beach house had met your de-stressing challenge. Host Beware of the twisted plot by this couple to cajole their way into gaining free vacation by exaggerating a sham about the property. Fraud is a deception intended to result in unfair financial and personal gain. The host agreement listed 4 adults two children no pets. Before arriving at the property this couple called to complain to VRBO that no check-in contact was made. When this host called, texted and emailed the contact info to meet them at the property. Meeting them, any of the property idiosyncrasies were described, such as closing both the gate and the door to operate the elevator, the sliding door, and the walk on the dune to the beach. There were no objections, and all were in agreement. All was okay; they called mid-week to say the water was not working. Somehow, the circuit-switched off within 45 minutes, and the breaker was on. The water pump was working, but checking the breaker, the hot water circuit was flicked off the next day. While they were out, the switch was on-hot water was working. The husband called to request meeting about his displeasure the night or 12-15 hours before their departure. At this meeting 2 dogs were noticed and 6 adults and smokers. He bluntly expressed that he demands a full refund for their 7-night stay or a business killing review would be done on the issues cited. The pet fee was $300, and the added cleaning for smoking is $250. An apology or fair resolution for any inconvenience caused by the water off or the stairs to the beach was offered as 28% or $750 from $2650 received. A damage review showed that the leather love leg, recliner chair, and binoculars were broken. This settlement was rejected and the libelous review was filed. To have a fully furnished 3-bedroom 3 bath house on the beach for free is not unlike one enjoying completing a full dinner and enjoying the ambience then seeing a fly as sufficient cause to demand a full refund on the eaten dinner. None of the issues above prevented an enjoyable or full use of the house and beach. Frankly, the very next guest arriving the same day as the departing fraudsters left this review: 5/5 Easter at the Beach Great property right on the ocean. Privacy on all sides. Beach is very uncrowded. Spacious and comfortable home; even an elevator. Good amenities in neighborhood particularly well stocked Publix grocery store.
