This rental was just what we needed to enjoy some time away with our dogs. Location is perfect and so close to Rosie’s Dog Beach and in walking distance of so many things.

You can’t beat the location, which really is the reason to stay here. The living room furniture is a bit outdated and the bedroom is a little tight, but honestly…you’ll be there so little of the time, this place is just fine. Communication to check in was perfect, but I never heard from the host again…even after asking a couple of questions and sending a message about departure. I guess that didn’t really matter as we didn’t have any real critical issue. Hoping they are ok. A few blocks to the beach…a few blocks to 2nd street. (Restaurants, bars) Love staying in Belmont Shore!!

It was a great place! Less than a ten minute walk to the dog/regular beach, and less than ten minute walk to so many restaurants, and bakeries, and want thing else you could want on vacation.

Wonderful location with easy access to dog beach. Recently renovated apartment which was very comfortable. Parking is a nightmare which is the only drawback.

Wonderful place! Park and just walk the area, 3 min walk to dog beach and 4 min walk to downtown with so many wonderful restaurants! I so enjoyed myself with my little JoJo! And the neighbors are very nice!!

Beautiful Hidden Gem

We loved our stay here. The property was clean and decorated which really made it feel cozy and like home. Great location; close to the beach and shops and restaurants!! This rental had everything we could need and more!! The kids got a kick out of sleeping on the Murphy bed. We loved this place and were sad to have to leave. Hopefully we can be back soon!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!

2 blocks from the Dog Beach and easy walk to Belmont Shores downtown area

Short walk to everything including eating, shopping and the Dog Beach. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Tracey checked in to make sure we have everything we needed. Parking is tough, but not horrible meaning we were within a block or two of the property. Thanks!

Good location poorly maintained

My wife and I stayed at this quaint apartment in the Long Beach area for a short stay-cation. The location was perfect. However, the overall maintenance of the unit was sub par. The apartment had a moldy smell when we first entered. The kitchen floor was sticky which told us that it was dirty. The bed seemed smaller than the queen size that was advertised. The shower head holder was broken.

Cute little apartment. Good location for walking to town. The remotes need to be fixed one was melted and neither really worked. The bed also needs a topper or replace the mattress. It sags with no support.

Location was amazing, close to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Street parking was not a problem. We couldnt check in until 4 but waited to 430 and upon arrival the unit had not been cleaned. Dirty towels hanging in the bathroom and in the bathtub, bed sheets not changed, bed not made, dirty/used blankets on the couch. I called and texted the host with no response. We loaded all our bags back into the car and not sure how to proceed. One hour after first attepmts to get ahold of the host, I called again. She did answer and told me the unit had been cleaned and after I told her I took pictures she said she would send someone over. When we went back there was a Windex bottle and dirty paper towels on the table in the bedroom. I am not opposed to cleaning up after me, but I am not going to clean someone else's germs. The host did not seem concerned and offered nothing for our inconveniences. You can guarantee if you're late to check out, you're going to get charged extra, but nothing if you're inconvenienced and cannot check in at your reserved time. I understand sometimes people run late, but no communication was made to let us know. At the end of the day, we still had a good time, just a heads up you might not get in when you're supposed to and the unit may not have been cleaned.

Perfect Location

This spot was in the perfect location in East Long Beach. We were more so just trying to chill and not do too much tourist stuff towards downtown L.A. but Rosie's Dog Beach was a block away and very cool. Also, 2nd St. has a ton of bars, restaurants and coffee shops just 3 blocks north. Overall great stay and we had everything we needed within the apartment!

House is perfectly located

House is perfectly located to be able to walk to the beach and 2nd street. House was well stocked and had plenty of blankets, pillows and towels. The neighbors are friendly and quiet. The portable swamp cooler in the bedroom does not cool the room. There is an a/c in the living room so we shut the doors and slept in the living room the whole time. Overall we had a great stay

Great Beach Getaway

This property was a perfect location -- one block from the beach and two blocks from shopping and restaurants. Apartment was spotless. Loved being able to bring my dog, go play at the dog beach, and grab lunch all in one location. Highly recommend!

I don't usually write a review good or bad but this one deserves one.

So I rented this property for four days coming from Sacramento. Everything went pretty smooth as the owner communicated with me through the VRBO app. I was one day before arriving at the property and hadn't heard from Tracy on the check-in process. The day we left I called him and texted him numerous times and never heard from him. I arrived at the property at 4:30 and still hadn't heard from him. So I had no choice but to get amotel room for the night since I couldn't get in to Belmont Shores. The next day I finally heard from him but had to head back home. He was apologetic and offered to refund my money. It's been a week later and I still don't have all my money from him. So if you plan on renting from this aperson beware!! Also when I called him his mailbox was full and could not leave a message. This is about my 11th rental from VRBO and I've never had to go through this. The only parking for this place is on this street.
