Diese wunderschön renovierte 1000-Quadratmeter-Wohnung befindet sich im Herzen von "Vieux Nice" in einem 350 Jahre alten Gebäude, nur wenige Schritte von Restaurants, Bars und dem Strand entfernt. Es befindet sich im 4. Stock des Gebäudes und ist so ruhig, auch wenn die Straßen geschäftig sind, aber Sie müssen die Treppe hinaufgehen (es wird all das gute Essen verbrennen).

Es ist komplett ausgestattet mit einer riesigen Küche und einem Esszimmer für den Chefkoch, die nur für den Fall geeignet sind, dass Sie Lust haben, Freunde zu haben.

Das Wohnzimmer ist komplett ausgestattet mit einem 42-Zoll-LCD-Fernseher mit Dolby 7. 1 Surround-Sound-Lautsprechersystem, SKY-Kabel mit allen Filmkanälen und einem DVD-Player für alle Fälle. Setzen Sie sich und schauen Sie über die Dächer auf der anderen Straßenseite, während Sie auf dem Sofa sitzen und ein Buch lesen.

Das Schlafzimmer verfügt über einen großen begehbaren Kleiderschrank und ein schwimmbadähnliches Philippe Stark-Bad für zwei Personen, während das Bad nebenan über eine luxuriöse begehbare Dusche aus Teakholz und eine eigens für diesen Zweck behauene Marmorplatte verfügt.

This was a wonderful property in a fantastic and extremely convenient location in Old Nice. The apartment was large and even better and more grand than the pictures show - we loved it. Communication with the owner was so easy and convenient too. Overall, a wonderful place and we would happily stay there again.

Great stay!

Very walkable location in Vieux Nice, near lots of restaurants and shops, the tram, and the beach. Well-equipped flat. The only negative (it’s mentioned in the listing), not unique to this building, is there is no elevator, so be prepared to walk steps a few times!

This is a great apartment in a perfect location for enjoying the old town of Nice. The apartment is spacious, clean and very luxurious. The only downside is the walk up 4 flights of stairs but I’m from New York and have lived in my fair share of walk-up apartments so it wasn’t a big deal for us! Host communication was great and she was there to welcome us to the unit and show us around the property when we checked in. Would definitely stay again on my next visit to Nice!

Nice place to stay, if it's not too hot outside.

The apartment is very nice. But it definitively has a problem with their air conditioner. It was not powerful enough to get a comfortable temperature inside, and the humidity was elevated. There was a portable air conditioner in the bedroom, which we had to use. But the windows were not appropriate for its installation, so we had to use a towel to try to cover as much space as possible left by the opened window.

We stayed in July shortly after this guest when it was hotter outside and had no issues with the AC. It was specified for the apartment size and volumes and is serviced regularly. It does not turn the apartment into a freezer box, but does make it perfectly comfortable if used correctly on the correct settings. Please read the other reviews.

Perfect place to stay in Nice!

We loved everything about our stay in this wonderful apartment! The space is beautifully and very thoughtfully designed. It feels much more like a luxury hotel suite than a rental, but still manages to feel cozy. It was spotlessly clean. We really appreciated the attention to detail in the design of the space, quality of the linens, kitchen set-up, and thoughtful touches like a lovely bottle of wine and some coffee pods for the Nespresso machine. The apartment is very bright, spacious, and comfortable. The bed and shower were top quality. Possibly the four flights of stairs might be difficult for some people, so that is something to be aware of, but we did not mind them. The location is ideal, close to the market, beach, and lots of great restaurants and places for an aperitif. We’d also like to say how much we appreciated being met at the apartment by Hanna, who took time to fill us in on everything and who could not have been nicer or more helpful. If we return to Nice, this would be our top choice of a place to stay!

Sehr geräumiges perfekt ausgestattetes Apartment

Die Kommunikation mit Frau Hess war sehr gut. Das Apartment selbst ist äußerst geräumig und in Natura schöner als auf den Fotos. Die vorhandene Grundausstattung, auch in der Küche ließ keine Wünsche offen. Es sind kleine Gebrauchsspuren vorhanden. Die gut steuerbare Klimaanlage hat uns bei der aktuellen Hitzewelle gerettet. Ich kenne mittlerweile 6 Apartments in Nizza und dieses ist Preis-Leistungsmässig und wegen der umfangreichen und durchdachten Ausstattung meine Nummer 1. Das mit dem 4. Stock ist bei 32 Grad natürlich eine Herausforderung , wenn man nicht mehr der Jüngste ist, aber wir haben vorher Bescheid gewusst und trainiert.

We checked-in and were very excited to stay in the apartment, however, we found the apt to be unclean and very, very dated. The AC did not work well and all of the curtains were closed when we came in (prob to try to keep the place cool but it didn’t work and instead just made the place look old and dark). I tried to open the blinds and they were all either broken or on the verge of breaking. The bathtub was in the bedroom which I was unable to see from the listings pictures. I contacted the owner to see what he could do and he was incredibly rude, citing my nationality as the reason I expected better air conditioning when in fact I just wanted what I paid for and what was advertised. To his credit he did offer to get another portable AC unit (there were already 2) but I didn’t feel like that would work so we did NOT stay at the apartment in the end. I would not recommend this host or apartment.

Firstly, please read all the other reviews before considering this one. As you see in the photos of the apt (which many other reviews confirm) there are NO curtains... Next, you will see the windows have blinds for privacy. At night it is not as bright in the apartment as during the day. This guest arrived in the evening. We will let you do the maths on why an apartment may be dark inside in the evening with blinds in the windows which are shown in all the photos. To our knowledge they were not broken when this guest arrived, nor after, but they do require some effort to lift up. You are welcome to lift them up, but it is wholly unnecessary during the day if the blinds are adjusted to the correct angle (again see the photos.) This apt could hardly be brighter inside if it had no roof. The bath is indeed in the spacious bedroom, which when this apartment was gut renovated seemed a fun idea, like many fancy boutique hotels in the world. It still remains so, but some people enjoy it more than others. Finally the AC. Yes there was an issue which is now being fixed. Our local guy who takes care of check-in and check-out kindly offered to spend Euro700 on a portable AC for this guest while we got an AC tech to fix the issue. Despite this the guest didn't want to stay. In fact the guest arrived, spent less than 10 minutes in the apt, left with bags, then barraged us with messages and calls every 2 or 3 minutes for hours from a café demanding a refund (we were at work.) We were happy to refund her as it is rarely a good thing to have people stay who are clearly extremely difficult to deal with and wholly unreasonable. For the record, once checked in no guest is entitled to a refund of any kind unless the host agrees. We went out of our way to call VRBO/Homeaway to make sure that she received a 100% refund including whatever fees she had paid. We did not need to do this. But we did it anyway. No good deed goes unpunished clearly, as the guest did not stay, did not pay, got a full refund, and still got to leave an extremely biased review with no basis in fact (the comment about the curtains is probably the winner given there are no curtains.) Of course VRBO/Homeaway customer service refuses to even talk to us about this review being factually incorrect, biased, and left by a guest who did not even stay or pay. We believe this is a beautiful apt, in AAA+ location, and outside the rare hiccup out of our control the reviews agree.

Nice penthouse

We absolutely lovedddd the place! My husband and I were traveling to south of France for our honeymoon and this was our favorite part of our stay. It was spacious yet cozy at the same time. Everything seemed brand new in the apartment. No complaints. Would definitely stay here again next time we're back in Nice! Highly recommend.

Was here for 1 week for a conference. 10-15 minute walk from the Acropolis conference center and few blocks to the beach. Apartment is surrounded by amazing food and shops and is very ideal location for trip to Nice. Apartment was very clean and lots of natural light. Nice shower and tub. Doume coordinated my arrival and departure very nicely through WhatsApp. Even left bottle of Rose and waters in the fridge, along with access to nespresso. also gave good local recs. there is new watercolor guide book in apartment - would follow these recs. apartment is as described/listed. if come back to Nice will definitely stay here.

Large, beautiful property

Stayed there three nights. Very large unit. Well furnished. Located in the middle of old town. Parking is a block away, if you need it--about 30 euros per day.
