Das Mews wurde neben den Ställen gebaut, ein altes Steingebäude, das von innen sehr modern ist. Großes Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss mit Balkon und Blick auf die Pferdehalle und die wunderschöne Landschaft. Eine moderne Küche, französischer Eichenparkett, mit allen Einrichtungen, gibt es ein großes Veluxfenster mit Blick auf den Fluss Bandon. Esstisch und Stühle. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich der Wohnbereich mit Sat-TV und allen Sky-Premium-Sportkanälen. Die Lounge überblickt das Gelände am Giebelende und die Pferdemenage von den Seitenfenstern aus.
Großer Raum, moderne Dekoration, bequeme Sitzgelegenheiten usw.
Es gibt ein modernes Badezimmer im Erdgeschoss mit Massagedusche usw.

The best accommodation on our road trip around Ireland. It was such a restful spot and just a short drive to Kinsale. We appreciated the little extras such as a yummy loaf of bread, eggs and fruit. The shared laundry between our apartment and next door was a bonus. We would highly recommend The Mews as top of the range accommodation.

This was the perfect property for our visit to Kinsale. It was located in a peaceful, country setting, but it was only a short drive to the town center. The property was very comfortable and perfectly suited for our two week stay. The property manager, Laura, was easy to communicate with and was very responsive to our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

From ‘top to bottom’ and EVERYthing in-between, The Mews was an absolutely dream. Spotless, and fully stocked, this spacious dwelling was private and pristine. The numerous little ‘welcoming’ touches were so appreciated! Private parking was also a big plus. The grounds were immaculate.One note: the upstairs small deck off the bedroom was ‘dirty’ so couldn’t be used (weather and bird related).

We enjoyed our stay at the beautiful and comfortable Mews! Relaxing, clean, well stocked, comfy bed, great shower…it was the perfect location for exploring the area… appreciated the fresh bread, butter, eggs and fruit… A wonderful stay!

Wonderful accomodation. Set within working stables, in the countryside just outside Kinsale.Feels almost brand new. Totally quiet.25 mins walking to town, but maybe not in the dark.The food items were very much appreciated.

Tha accommodation was beautiful. So nicely decorated with horse statues and ribbons they had won. The bed was comfortable and the window and fan kept us comfortable at night. Bedroom is upstairs with the kitchen . The bathroom is on the first floor with the living room . If you require bathroom visits at night it may not be the best fit for you as there are 13 stairs. We were greeted with fresh bread, preserves, coffee and milk. Nice to be away from the crowds of kinsale centre. We loved our stay. Thank you.

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at the Mews! Beautiful location and close to downtown Kinsale. Everything we needed was made available and even included fresh bread and milk and tea! Would highly recommend this lovely spot!

Peaceful Stay

Loved this remote but convenient location. Unit was spacious and aptly appointed. We appreciated the special touches like fresh bread and honey in the kitchen. We loved the farm animals on the property and the quality of the stay overall.

We've been going to Kinsale for many years now. We have stayed at a variety of places but the mews is a suberb find. Everyrhing was great: accommodation, location, hosts. I cant recommend enough.

Kinsale accommodation

This place is so lovely to stay in. The horses, alpacas and chickens add to its rural charm. The 20 min walk into town is an interesting jaunt up a hill on a rural lane and then down into town. Easy to prepare meals here and a BBQ is provided. The hosts are great and full of local knowledge. Would stay here again and recommend it

Two wonderful weeks in Kinsale

We couldn’t have been more happy with our holiday home in Kinsale. The apartment of Sylvia and Dane has everything you could possibly want: great location, plenty of space, fast wi-fi, Sky TV, good little kitchen area and just a good atmosphere to the whole place there. Will definitely try to book there again for our next trip to Kinsale.

We had an incredible stay at the Mews/Cappagh Lodge. Dane, Sylvia and Laura could not have been more accommodating and gracious. We are in the beginning stages of our relocating to Ireland and Cappagh Lodge was our first home in Ireland for the first 7 weeks. Such a lovely location and so peaceful and quiet. We could not have asked for a better location in Kinsale and kinder hosts that have made our initial experience in our new home here in lovely Ireland so wonderful! We loved The Mews, a perfect, peaceful, relaxing, tranquil place to stay. One of the highlights was taking the Alpacas for a stroll. Such a sweet, gentle animal. Kinsale is a charming village with wonderful cafes, restaurants and shops, and the people, WONDERFUL!!!!! Love the Irish.

Simply Wonderful!

If you are looking for high quality home away in a superb location owned by very friendly and extremely helpful hosts, look no further. Dane and Sylvia went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible, even during storm Ellen. You will find everything you need in the apartment and we have also appreciated nice small touches which made us feel at home.

A Bit of Heaven

Such a beautiful property! The Mews was perfect and the special touches; fresh bread, eggs, bananas, and comfy robes were very much appreciated. The setting couldn't have been better. Horses, llamas, and cows plus the beautiful landscape made our stay magical. And all of this was just one mile from town. Perfect!

Wonderful romantic cottage

This is an outstanding place. Sylvia & Dane were the best hosts you could have. The place is romantic and spacious for 2. The place has everything you need (tv, WiFi, books, dvd, games) to keep you entertained on rainy days. It is close to Kinsale, an outstanding lively town that is a joy to visit & to just spend time relaxing. I highly recommend ‘The Mews’

Wonderful stay at the Mews!

The Mews is a gorgeous property, comfortable, cozy and well appointed. We appreciated the delicious bread, butter and fresh eggs left for us. Laura was wonderful to deal with. Kinsale is a lovely town, lots of great restaurants. It’s an easy walk to town, but for the walk back at night, would recommend a cab, flashlight, or be sure to use the reflective jackets at the house. We can’t wait to come back.

Needs 10 stars!

Nothing is left out. The Mews was comfortable and well stocked. Fresh bread and eggs were waiting for us when we arrived. Lots or privacy and beautiful views. We stayed for 5 nights and loved every minute we were there. This is a great “base” for touring County Cork, or for spending time in Kinsale. Dane and Sylvia are amazing hosts with a beautiful piece of Irish country side to share.

Wonderful Renovated Stable/Barn

This place was just what we needed, and had everything. Don’t bother to shop before you arrive, your first breakfast is taken care of. Clean, light, airy and well equipped, including robes, and we wished for no change. Didn’t realise it was wall to wall and door to door with other sections (three) so noise needs to be considered by all but was no issue for us. If you’re bringing kids - be considerate of others, as some accom is couples. You also share laundry facilities so plan your washes well. It’s really lovely and clean and all you need is your clothes! Thanks for having us
