Vacay in St Martin

Location was great as was pool. Easy walk to the beach and pretty view.Listing should say there is onsite manager to greet you. Great little market and pizza place on property. Room was nice as pictured. Could use a toaster or toaster oven as well as a few beach supplies like a cooler. Issues with ants in kitchen and doorway. Dont leave any food or crumbs as ants abound! Couldn't figure out the washer? Overall very pleasant.

Fantastic affordable gem on Orient Bay

The studio condo is clean, safe, and in a great location! Its located on the north end of Orient Bay and close to many restaurants, but the best part is its away from the crowds, so if you want a quiet morning to do yoga on the beach this is the place for you! I walked the beach from the condo door to the far end every morning and sometime in the evening, it would take 30 min each way. You can also choose to walk on the beach 5 min. to the closest beach club that offers food and chairs or 10 min. to the fabulous Orient Bay town center with restaurants, shops, a great grocery/wine store and plenty of day and evening activities. There are also lots of hidden small restaurants in the area around the condo including a fantastic pizza joint on site that served the best pizza I have ever had! Everyone living, staying, or working at the condos at Mont Vernon are super nice and happy to share local advice. The pool os huge, clean, and beautiful, plenty of chairs and situated on the beach, there was a great breeze the whole time. The condo has everything you need to cook a meal, chill your wine and cheese, and relax. the bed was comfortable and the AC was great. If you prefer fresh air all you need to do is open the huge glass doors to the deck and the cool breeze coming off the ocean cools the condo in minuets. The deck is great for enjoying your morning coffee and the views of the ocean are unbeatable. If you like to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean this is the place!

Top of the hill

The apartment had everything needed for our stay. The unit is functional and convenient. Other than a few routine maintenance issues our stay was pleasant. The view from the deck was lovely. Improvements to the Mont Vernon property after hurricane Irma continue to progress. The beautiful pool, second largest on the island, became operational again during our visit. The apartment was, however, infested with cockroaches. We bought spray and that seemed to help. Waking up in the dark you had to watch where you stepped. Water service on St Martin is not dependable. Shut off times are not often announced and are a daily occurrence. The constant depressurizing and pressuring of water lines is not sanitary without treatment. Often there is no water for showers or laundry. Dishes and flushing toilets is accomplished using bottled tap water. This situation has not improved from 2022. Some suggestions for Mont Vernon property owners: Chickens belong in barnyards. They roam the grounds all around the building and roosters crow at 4:30am just outside the apartment. Dog owners are extremely negligent. Few pick up after their animals. Dog feces everywhere. Dogs, unaccompanied, are routinely set loose after dark to do their business. Each morning there were fresh piles on the walkway. As nobody cleaned these piles up, one had to navigate the minefield daily. Property owners should insist dog owners pick up after their dogs. It is unsanitary, stinks, and is intolerable.

Très beau séjour

Moi et mon conjoint avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à Saint-Martin, le condo était propre et bien situé, même si il est le dernier bâtiment du fond nous avions une très belle vue sur la mer. Petit dépanneur et pizzeria sur le site, parfait pour les oublis à l’épicerie.ce que nous avons moins aimer

Le paradis

Nous avons été accueillis par Lynda qui est charmante. Les photos sont à l'image de l'appartement. Tout est conforme. Nous avons bien apprécié avoir des boissons fraîches à notre arrivée ainsi que tout les petits trucs de base tel que le sel, essuie-tout etc. qui nous évite de les acheter et de devoir s'en départir. Le petit resto sur place est bien apprécié. Endroit tranquille. Merci pour votre accueil.

Rue du Mont Vernon Cul-de-Sac is an awesome place for a romantic get-away

We were pleasantly surprised to find a quality room during the holidays without breaking the bank. For the price, you can NOT go wrong staying at Rue du Mont Vernon Cul-de-Sac. They are extremely accommodating to make sure you have whatever you need even if you don’t really speak the same languages. 😊 Once you are squared away, they don’t bother you again unless you need assistance. They made sure we had direct phone numbers and were willing to help with any directions or island information we needed. The Location, as with every other location on the island does still have a lot of damage from Hurricane Irma, however we are super excited to see the island as well as this property starting to bounce back. Loved staying here and would do so again. The amazing view of the ocean from our room’s balcony and peaceful sound of the waves was the definition of paradise. If I had any suggestions for the property owners, it would be adding some more signage along the path there to help travelers locate the property upon first arriving…

Room was nice. Small well equipped kitchenette Adequate bathroom Nice secluded beach down steps or walkway. Can walk from one end of Orient Bay to the other - ending at Club Orient - in about 25 mins Lots of nice restaurants along the way. And places to rent beach chairs and umbrellas. This was the old hotel My Vernon. Individual rooms have been refurbished by private owners. The property as a whole is being worked on but it has a long way to go before being fully restored. Parking not very convenient Nice room and good value

Magnifique appartement propre, spacieux et lumineux avec vue sur mer

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans ce bel appartement, idéalement situé à 2 pas de la plage. Au premier étage donnant sur une terrasse face à la mer permettant de prendre les repas aussi à l’extérieur. C'est un bonheur de prendre l'apéro ou le petit déjeuner en regardant la mer. Tout équipé : TV grand écran plat, cafetière, bouilloire électrique, micro-onde, réfrigérateur combiné-congélation, lave-linge privé, Internet. Lit très confortable , le linge est fourni, rien ne manque, la propreté est à la hauteur des attentes. Un grand Merci à Linda et Hippolyte pour leur accueil chaleureux ainsi qu'au propriétaire d'une extrême gentillesse et très réactif. Nous espérons revenir et recommandons vivement cette location!
