They have recently divided the company and our property had been transitioned over earlier than expected. We spoke with the company regarding the lack of professionalism with dealing with you and they were very apologetic. I think they were overwhelmed with everything. We do take all feedback seriously, and will pass along the need for new utensils and cookware. Would you mind reaching out to us to notify us what type of additional linens are needed? We are so sorry to hear that the neighbors had dogs and were quite noisy. We would have definitely reached out to the neighbors had we been made aware. We do hope this does not dissuade you from staying at one of properties through Beach Retreats the next time your travels bring you to the area.

Hi Josh - we are thrilled that the house was everything you expected and very clean upon arrival. In regards to the pool - the pool heater has to turn off at night (Holmes Beach Code for noise compliance) so it will take a bit to heat back up to 85 degrees, especailly in colder weather. This is completely typical with variable heat pumps. The spa is listed as a spa and was completely functional (heated to 102 degrees without issue). When you called us about it we did send the pool company out to look at it on a Sunday as we thought it was the heater that was the issue. When we were informed that it was the bubblers you were refering to we tried to explain that the bubblers can't be set on a timer (unlike the heat) so they are disabled on all of our pools so as not to burn out the motors. That is why we list as a "spa" and not a whirlpool or hot tub. It heats but does not have bubblers.

Carol, Thank you for taking the time to write a review, but if you would have let us know during your stay, rather than just within a bad review after you stay... we could have corrected many items immediately. The pool has weekly service, but with our daily afternoon storms during the summer and guest use of sunblock, the pools may need additional attention in between normal service. Our pool company is fabulous and is always willing to assist. The home comes with an initial set up of items (i.e., dish soap, paper towel, trash bags, toilet paper, bath soap), but it is by no means intended to last guest’s entire stay. It is only for the convenience of guests so you don’t have to immediately run to the store to get those items. This home is pet friendly for the convenience of our guests. Having a pet friendly home is not a requirement the homeowner offer to guests. The home is pet friendly, not pet proof. The fence is correctly installed, but may have some gaps under where the ground is not even. The owner just replaced all dinnerware with a complete new set, added outdoor dinnerware and cups, updated sheets and some of the bedding, and replaced the bake ware. Sincerely, Kimberly
