Gorgeous stay in Fornalutx

Staying in Fornalutx at this property was a wonderful experience. We enjoyed what the apartment offered, especially the nice terrace for breakfast and drinks. The owner was very nice and friendly and the apartment was situated between spectacular hiking trails, wonderful restaurants, and the heart of the town. Highly recommended!

Great stay in wonderful village.

This is a wonderful location and Neil's house is very comfortable. A nice collection of welcome goodies in the kitchen and fridge allowed us to settle right in without visiting the store first. The signed copy of Neil's book was a treat. We hope to visit again.

I had the pleasure of staying in Neil & Julie's place in Fornalutx throughout the end of December. The apartment is lovely, very well equipped for all comforts and was in a great location. Amazing stay!

We had an amazing stay at this property in Fornalutx! It was perfect for our stay and we enjoyed cooking a few meals ourselves in the kitchen when not enjoying eating out in a couple of delicious restaurants in the beautiful village. We very much enjoyed relaxing on the little terrace after spending our days exploring and walking around the area and beyond. Loved walking to Soller and taking the tram to the port. Also really loved walking the other side of the valley to Biniaraix. The region is absolutely beautiful and the accommodation was spectacular. We hope to return again! Thanks so much Julie and Neil for the wonderful stay!!

Great property in stunning location

We had a great time in Fornalutx, the apartment is lovely and just like the pictures. We spent the week relaxing on the terrace and enjoing the views over the village, walking in the mountains and sampling the great food in the local restaurants. Can highly recommend Cafe Med for a treat (a bit pricey but worth it). The owners were very friendly and helpful and live above the apartment so are on hand if you need anything. We had a lovely relaxing week and are already making plans for a return visit!

What a treat!

We just spent four nights at this little slice of paradise in Fornalutx. I can't recommend enough! The accommodations and host were so lovely! My favorite activity was relaxing on the porch with a glass of wine, plate of olives and the beauty of the mountains and orange groves surrounding you. The roads are tiny so I do recommend a small car to navigate this gorgeous part of the island. Thanks so much Neil & Julie for a wonderful stay!

As good as it looks

The apartment was superb , very quiet , a great size and a well fitted kitchen , Fornalutx is a beautiful village with enough lovely restaurants to keep you going . The whole valley was a treat especially for walking , Soller train to Palma and team to Puerto Soller a joy to ride .Neil and Julie fabulous hosts - we will return and also recommend to all our friends . Idyllic Getaway

This beautiful apartment is tucked away in a historic mountain town. The accommodations were very comfortable and the flat was equipped with all the essentials + a beach mat and umbrella. There are lots of cute restaurants nearby (many with beautiful views), and it served as a good home base for me to explore the island by car. FYI, this town (and many others) has very narrow roads, so I’d rent the smallest car possible. I can’t imagine going to Mallorca and not staying in the mountains now that I’ve seen how beautiful it is! The area is positively breathtaking.

Perfect stay in the Tramuntanas

Staying in Fornalutx was such a privilege. Neil’s space is a wonderful gem near the top of town surrounded by citrus groves, flowers, and mountains towering on all sides. It’s hard to imagine a more idyllic setting. The space itself has everything you need. The kitchen was wonderful, especially that massive stone sink! I loved having a fire each night too. The only tricky part of the stay is parking, don’t plan on parking out front. And the main terraced lot was full every time I tried to park there. Neil will help you out if you run into trouble but just assume you’ll have a bit of a process to park and be pleasantly surprised if you get lucky with a space. Overall, I would highly recommend this stay and hope I get the chance to be a guest again.

We didn’t want to leave! Absolutely beautiful!

What an incredibly wonderful & refreshing stay we had at Neil’s lovely place in one of the most beautiful villages we have ever been to! From the start, Neil’s communication was really helpful. We were so glad we got to meet him in person as well! Such a kind guy. His place in Fornalutx is amazing! It was easy to find, extremely clean and really well thought out. The kitchen & patio are stunning w/ lots of character, & the view is just amazing! We loved sitting out on the balcony with a cold drink & snacks post hike! The main room is so spacious, & we really appreciated the extra drawers & hangers for our things. The bed is extremely comfortable; we slept so well! Since it was January, we got to use the fireplace, which made it all extra cozy! The shower felt so nice as well. We absolutely adored the space, & this is one of those spots that you immediately feel “at home” in. And Fornalutx! Just stunning! The orange trees & mountain views & friendliness of the people blew us away. It was so nice to walk to the bakery, grocery & tapas bar from this apartment. It’s also a great base to hike or go to the coast. The hike to Soller is only an hour & makes a great morning activity. Neil’s tips on parking for the apt were so helpful since we had never been; we parked in the large lot across from the pizza place, & it was super easy & a quick walk down to his place. I could continue on about how wonderful everything was but will just say thank you Neil & Fornalutx! We will return!

Eine schöne Wohnung in einer schönen Umgebung mit Luft nach oben

liebe Vermieter, eine schöne Wohnung - liebevoll eingerichtet, Hauptzimmer wenig Tageslicht - im Sommer bestimmt von Vorteil. Schöne kleine Terrasse mit viel Sonne vom Mittag bis zum Abend. Eine Liege fehlt zum Glück. Küche müsste sauberer sein - eine intensive Grundreinigung notwendig. Ansonsten alles in allem eine gute Wahl

schön aber mit fehlern

die Wohnung ist keine 75 m 2 groß , leider sehr dunkel ,, die Küche ist renovierunngsbedürfig , der Backofen nicht sauber, die fugen zwischen den einzelnen Elementen müssten erneuert werden , Geschirr ist da aber was kostet bei Ikea ein Parr Tassen mehr, in der Toilette muss die bürste gewechselt werden, der Wasserhahn zum Zähneputzen sehr sparsam , die Waschmaschine ist auch nicht sauber, habe diese bei Kochwäsche zunächst gereinigt, schade eigentlich das man das nicht hinbekommt auf die Kleinigkeiten zu achten. Die Aussicht ist sehr schön und ein Fahrkünstler muss man sein , wenn man überhaupt einen Parkplatz am Haus bekommt . Wir waren schon an vielen orten der Welt leider stimmte hier Preisleistungsverhältnis nicht. sorry aber ich bin ehrlich

Great apartment, lovely village, friendly hosts

We found everything exactly as described on the website and with the additional instructions given by Julie and Neil. Beautiful apartment. Recommended for a relaxing stay in Fornalutx with everything you need within walking distance. And of course a good starting point for exploring Tramuntana. Hint for Mallorca beginners: rent a small car. Or a scooter. Roads are pretty narrow and parking space is rare. The parking in front of the house is "first come, first served".

Lovely apartment fully loaded!

The apartment was cozy with comfortable furnishings. Kitchen was used everyday- so nice to have! Easy walking to several restaurants and food shops. Driving around this area is NUTS! So smallest car possible with full insurance!!! Believe me you will need it! Host Neil was there for us in a moments notice. All good!

A lovely romantic property with stunning views is correct. Neil was a perfect host - very helpful in providing advice. Enjoyed his books. The property is a few minutes walk from the centre of the pretiest village in Mallorca.
