Übernachten Sie im Nationalwald von Nantahala, denn unsere Hütte ist von Ihrem eigenen 2 Hektar großen Park / Campingplatz abgeschlossen, auf dem Sie sich an einem Picknicktisch am Bach oder an der Feuerstelle entspannen können. Friedlich ohne Nachbarn in der Nähe. Wenn Sie auf der Veranda sitzen, sehen Sie Hirsche, Truthähne und die ganze einheimische Tierwelt. All diese Privatsphäre und nur 5 Minuten von der Innenstadt von Murphy sowie dem Harrah's Casino entfernt. Sie haben eine asphaltierte, kreisförmige Auffahrt, über die Sie bis zur Haustür fahren können, und für Motorräder eine Garage, in der Sie parken können. Das Grundstück ist komplett eingezäunt, wenn Sie Ihr Haustier mitbringen. Wir liefern Brennholz für die Feuerstelle.

Unsere Hütte bietet alle modernen Annehmlichkeiten (Internet, Direkt-TV und einen Außengrill) sowie einen Kamin im Hauptbereich. Unsere vordere Veranda im Freien ist der perfekte Ort für einen Grillabend und unser Außendeck bietet erstklassige Tierbeobachtungen, eine Tasse Kaffee am Morgen und ein gutes Buch oder ein abendliches Glas Wein. Unsere voll ausgestattete Küche verfügt über alle modernen Geräte und ist voll ausgestattet mit allem, was Sie für die Zubereitung von Mahlzeiten benötigen. Wir haben ein Queen-Master-Schlafzimmer mit angeschlossenem Badezimmer, ein Loft-Schlafzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten und ein eigenes Badezimmer sowie ein Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer.

Our entire stay was fantastic from beginning to end. We had planned on going into town but never did because we didn’t want to leave this beautiful place! Hosts were very gracious, and were prompt and courteous with all communications. Our little shih-tzu loved being able to roam around without being on a leash due to the fenced in property. We had one rainy day but even that was so tranquil in the porch swing looking out over the beautiful grounds. Thank you for a very relaxing getaway, I’m sure we will be back!

There are just as many amenities for pets as there are for pets! Our dog loves the fenced in yard and all the toys. We love the comfy, homey feel of the cabin and will be coming back in the fall!

This cabin was clean, well decorated and had all appliances, cooking utensils, plates and silverware necessary for a family on holiday. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Would recommend this property to others as we intend to rent there in the future. Also, they are very pet friendly!

Great home base for exploring the area

We had a lovely stay!

Zoe & Eric have made this cabin a home away from home! The cabin is thoughtfully equipped and nicely decorated! Our pups loved running around and we were comfortable with that since the property is all fenced in. Secluded and private yet so close to town. We had a lovely time!

Great pet amenities

The cabin was cozy and the amenities for humans are great and the pet amenities are just as great! We loved having a fenced in yard for our doggy to play in the leaves as well as buckets of dog toys and tennis balls to play fetch with! We will definitely be returning!

Great time in Murphy!

We had a wonderful stay at the Mountain Creek Retreat! Everything was clean, comfortable and thought out. Everything you could need was already there (except a few more groceries) and we had a wonderful time by the fire with the creek noise right behind us. Great location!

Peaceful cabin in the woods

We wanted to checkout Murphy and found this peace of heaven traveling with our dogs. We loved it was minutes from restaurants, breweries and shopping. We are avid hikers and loved local towns and hikes were close by. We are looking forward to staying again. Thank you for your hospitality again.

Zoe and Eric Schechter enjoy outdoor sports and are avid motorcyclists that have been vacationing in this area for many years and became full-time residents in 2015 when they purchased the adjacent property and made it their forever home.

They live with their 5 dogs and 6 chickens, 7 motorcycles, enjoy gardening and hosting guests..

In 2019 they purchased this property with the desire to operate a vacation cabin that provides an exceptional experience for their guests and where they can share their love for the mountains. We are less than 5 minutes from town, yet very secluded in the mountains!
