Awesome place and management!

This is an excellent place to stay.! Everything we needed was provided including beach equipment and umbrella for the rain. The owners were so supportive of our stay. They even took the time to come to the beach to watch my sister win second in the Parasurfing contest! We will definitely stay again!

Clean and Comfortable

Very clean place with many products available for sanitizing during stay. Felt very comfortable and safe during COVID. Great neighborhood with beach, restaurants and shopping all with in walking distance. Parking a plus.

Best trip!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in San Diego and we owe a lot of that to our wonderful hosts. We utilize VRBO often and this was our best experience ever. We loved our stay and would come back / move in if we could! The apartment has everything you need for a weekend in San Diego, a great location and super easy communication with the hosts. We particularly loved the little outdoor patio, comfortable beds, extra parking spot and the beach equipment/extra towels. Do yourself a favor and book here if you can!

Very Nice Experience

My girl friend and I traveled to San Diego for a weekend getaway and wanted to stay near the beach but didn't want a hotel due to Covid-19. We chose this place and were totally satisfied. The home was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked with the basics, a nice patio with grill, and 1 1/2 blocks from the beach. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful property with great owners!

This house is amazing! Very clean and they have thought of everything! Location is close enough to walk to several different beaches. Love the ability to park two cars as our daughter lives in town and could come visit without worrying about parking. We will definitely stay here again when we get the chance to return to town. Owners very very helpful and accommodating with a request I had during our visit. I can’t say enough good things about this place!😊

Great Location

This unit is perfectly situated in Pacific Beach just off of Mission and a couple blocks from the ocean. It was very clean and well stocked. We found it quiet and comfortable. It is located, I think, at the back of and detached from the owner’s house, but completely private and fenced in. Access is through the alley. We found it very walkable for Pacific and Mission Beaches, and restaurants. It is a 15-20 minute drive to Balboa Park and the zoo, 10 minutes to La Jolla, and 25 minutes to Torrey Pines. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful San Diego Getaway

We booked this trip for a last minute vacation to get away from the AZ heat and celebrate our son's 20th birthday. Due to COVID, we weren't able to take our annual, week long vacation, which in the past have been to Mexico and Hawaii. Thanks to Melissa and Jim's hospitality and beautiful vacation rental, this trip felt like our typical long thought out, well planned, annual trip. It is by far the cleanest VRBO we had stayed in with the warmest feeling. Thank you for considering everything we may need, especially wipes, gloves and masks, during these unprecedented times. We look forward to spending time here again.

Amazing rental - great owners, location, and quality!

We loved this rental. Melissa and Jim were extremely responsive in all communications. The house itself has so many great characteristics: it has A/C if you need it; the kitchen is very well stocked with plates, silverware, utensils, pots/pans; the beds/bedding were very comfortable; and they had plentiful household supplies and beach equipment. The house itself is probably a 10 minute walk to the beach - we did this walk everyday and the beach was amazing. Parking was a breeze with a dedicated off road parking spot right next to the house. We also loved the outdoor grill and sitting area....it was really fun to eat at home and then enjoy the outdoor seating area to relax. I would most certainly rent this house again! Thanks to Melissa and Jim for enabling a great visit.

Rainy but worth it

The property is perfect. I wish we had been able to take advantage of the deck/patio space but the weather did not permit. Otherwise, the property was extremely efficient for our needs. 2 bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, a perfect-sized common space, and up-to-date appliances such as dishwasher and washer/dryer. The house was well-stocked. We appreciated the fact that there were lots of spices, salt/pepper, cooking oils etc. There are many places out there that expect you to provision EVERYTHING which is unrealistic and frankly, absurd. The distance to the beach and eateries was perfect. Coffee less than 5 minutes one direction, the beach less than 5 minutes the opposite direction. We had a great brunch at The Fig Tree and outstanding take-out from Second Nature. Tasty breakfast food and coffee from Java Earth.

Better than advertised!

Fantastic property. We almost refused to leave! Amazing Accommodations: Everything has been updated. Great kitchen with super nice appliances. Bedrooms stay nice and cool with the AC if needed and the beds/pillows are super comfortable. Be sure to set your alarm or you may sleep a good part of the day away. :) We loved the deck - great space to enjoy the morning hours or relax after a long day at the beach. The two dedicated parking spots are a huge bonus. Great Location: Safe neighborhood with easy walks to the beach, restaurants and shops on Mission Blvd. La Jolla is a very short drive if that is more your vibe. We rented bikes on one of the days and would highly recommend it. We will probably rent them for our entire stay next time. It vastly expands your reach without having to worry about parking. Super Hosts: Jim & Melissa are the best! They anticipate every need and do everything possible to ensure that you enjoy your stay. Their communication is very timely and extremely detailed – well exceeded our expectations. They have gone above and beyond to provide everything you need for a delightful trip – beach umbrella, chairs & towels, boogie boards, skim board, football, beach toys, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cannot wait to come back!

Clean and Comfortable Home away from Home

This little home was the perfect place for our family to stay while visiting San Diego. The home was immaculate. We were absolutely comfortable during our entire stay. I really enjoyed the full size washer and dryer, new appliances, and comfy beds. The owners were so easy to work with. I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation!

What a wonderful property!

I have nothing but great things to say about this property! I stayed here with my husband and adult daughter. Every need was considered and every detail well thought out, from the kitchen utensils, dishes, spices, condiments, A/C in living room and both bedrooms, bathroom accessories, beach chairs and umbrella, laundry bag in closet, etc. The location is great, so close to the beach, and the outside deck is really comfortable and private. I will definitely stay here again!

Love this sweet gem!

We loved our stay again! Melissa & Jim are very sweet and communicate well. The kitchen has everything to make meals for our family and fuel everyone’s day. It’s very clean and well organized. There are beach toys, a wagon and everything to get our family needs to the beach. It’s a short walk or bike ride to the beach. We can’t wait to go back.

Exceptional Stay!

This is an exceptional rental! Immaculate, very well stocked , a block and a half to the beach and walking distance to a variety of wonderful restaurants. Despite being in the heart of the neighborhood, it’s still very private and quiet. Communication with Melissa and Jim was great. Check in was a breeze. I really can’t say enough about this place. It was perfect! We hope to return in the future!
