We are disappointed to read your comments about the studio as they are simply not true. Any guest coming to stay may look at the many reviews from happy guests over the years including recent ones. We take pride in making the studio as comfortable and well-provided for our guests many of whom travel from the USA, Canada and Australia. So we are correcting the points you made as follows: • Unfortunately our cleaner (now no longer with us) did forget the dirty laundry in the studio. She did come and collect it as soon as we were told and I did bring you chocolates to apologise for the inconvenience. • I retreated from meeting you because I was shocked and embarrassed by your tone and comment that our well-equipped studio was ‘basic’ and by your lack of any common courtesy. • The studio is small but not basic. · Our appliances are not old. We have a new washer/dryer, new hob, microwave, hairdryer, iron etc. Only the fridge has not recently been renewed. • We provide shampoo, new boxes of soap, cotton wool pads and cotton buds, plus plenty of toilet rolls and tissues. We also provide tea, coffee, sugar and washing powder. • Also available are an umbrella and shopping bags; a choice of books to read and a detailed guide of where to eat locally, plus tube maps and a London street map book. • The studio’s size is clearly stated so if more space is what you desired there are many other options to rent. · As to the heating- it is on for ten hours every day. You stayed when it was exceptionally cold - but did have an electric boaster heater to keep you warm 24/7. We have been lucky to have met and hosted many nice and appreciative guests over the years.

Thanks Jodie for your message. You did arrive in London for the coldest period recorded in years. So definitely a shock after your Melbourne heat. To reply to your specific points about being in London in winter. We do have heating on 12 hrs of the day(that's 4 hours in the morning and 8 hours from afternoon to night), plus there is a certified, extra plug-in electric 2KW heater to ensure guests are warm at all times. Plus there are two extra blankets, for whenever required. It is up to you to use the heater -all night if you wanted it! We're glad you enjoyed your stay in Hammersmith and hope next time you travel to Europe in winter you won't hit such a freezing cold spell that surprised us all.

I am glad you enjoyed the studio and Brackenbury, it is as advertised only for two. I am surprised by your comment It is thoroughly cleaned between rentals or on a long stay weekly if required. We will check this with the cleaners to improve the service.
