Kitchen very outdated. Poor quality kitchen items..pots and pans are old and dirty, old fridge. No wifi instructions, jacuzzi did not work, cockroach found in drawer with open bag of potato chips, many light bulbs did not work, fireplace not functional, lack of instruction, no soap dispensers, dirty bathroom sinks. Some areas are dirty. Snow on steps not shoveled ...very slippery. Why is the code so long? Makes entry difficult and long...needed to get the phone out to get the long code.Furniture is nice. Love the view. Very spacious.

Great view but needs a facelift and some basics.

View is awesome, beds and pillows are comfy. But the kitchen is lacking basics and the entire place desparately needs updating and a facelift. The living room furniture is fine, but carpet is stained, bath wallpaper peeling, and there is a table and chairs in the upstairs loft that is in the way of getting out on the balcony and needs to disappear.

We enjoyed our short stay in this condo. The condo was just like how it looks in the pictures. The condo was very clean and check in was easy.The view from the decks was gorgeous! My husband carried his telescope and enjoyed looking at the night sky with it.

July 4th Mountain getaway

This condo is at the top on the Beech side of Sugar Mountain with a great view. The inside is very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. 2 decks show off spectacular views of Beech Mountain. The bedrooms and sleeping areas are very large and easily accommodates 6 adults. The kitchen is very spacious and well stocked. The furniture was also very comfortable. This is a great place to stay. Very quiet and peaceful.

Perfect Ski Weekend!

Vacasa gave great text to keep us informed on our stay. Every question answered! Cozy home! Amazing views! Super warm on a cold day! Loved the fireplace. Fully taken care of with simple things like coffee filters, dish detergent, etc. Towels were bright white and fluffy. Beds slept great! Highly recommend for these things and more!

Our stay was a lot of fun and location was amazing! The reason we chose this place was for the beautiful view, but this property needs some maintenance. The sinks fill up when brushing your teeth and they stink. I had to wash the dishes before using them because of the amount of useless crap that is in there and it didnā€™t feel like anything was clean. Overall a fun getaway.

Nice Vies - Unit Needs Updating

Really loved the views walking into the unit! And the 2 outdoor decks were perfect for hanging out in the morning with our coffee. Good location to Wilderness Run and the slopes. But unit definitely needs updating. Broken chair. Beds not very comfortable. But overall, good stay for a couple of nights.

Great views, comfortable condo

We booked a last minute 4th of July mini getaway. This condo had a fantastic view from the 2 decks. The kids loved being able to watch fireworks all around. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked. The living room tv and wifi didnā€™t work upon arrival. The bedroom TVs did work though so it was something with the main tv. We knew there was no central ac and appreciated all the fans (even though one was broken upon arrival). We would stay again.

Unit needs several repairs and a deep cleaning. 1. Master bedroom air was not working 2. Master shower door does not slide properly and could break if forced to slide. 3. Carpet in living area needs to be cleaned. Very much enjoyed the unit and its location.

Vacasa not clean the homes before I arrived

Itā€™s so disgusting. I rented the home in aug. when I arrived the house was in complete mess. Nobody showed up to clean. We did it by ourselves. I called to Vacasa 3x times and They sad some one on the way. Itā€™s very disrespectful with the customers.

Awesome view but problems

The view was incredible and we so enjoyed looking at a horizon full of mountains all day through. Also, loved the openness of the floor plan The beds were comfortable, as were the leather chairs. The sofas were old, soft and uncomfortable. The kitchen had very old appliances with lots of baked on grease (as did some of the pans). Cookware was very old also and limited dishes and silverware; almost all storage containers had tops that didnā€™t match. Bed linens were very old The place was also not clean when we arrived (lots of dust, cobwebs, stuck on food in frig), which Vacasa did make right by sending another cleaning crew. Would be a fabulous place if things were updated.

Beautiful views. Will stay again.

This was our 1st time visiting Sugar Mountain and we very much enjoyed our stay. The views are beautiful and the unit was well maintained and clean upon our arrival. Everything was functional, including the gigantic tub in the master bedroom. That is a huge plus. If we could offer some constructive criticism it would be nice to have higher quality cooking utensils in the kitchen. This is a great value and we will absolutely stay again. For those reading this with small children we recommend the hike at Grandfather mountain, the Tweetsie rail road and the gravity roller coaster.

Terrible stay - 2

First of all booking was incorrect, double dates when listing showed first dates weren't available. When we went to property we weren't able to stay there because of the following: Property was dirty and outdated Sheets on king bed were not changed from previous stay Only one pillow had pillow case and that one had long black hair Unit was cold and there were notes to not change heat settings No blankets on beds Fridge smelled terrible coffee pot was dirty turned fireplace on, smelled gas nothing to put on icy steps to melt ice, were afraid one of us would fall the list goes on with a dozen little things will not use agent to stay again. would rather pay more and have good experience

worst experience ever

First my reservations were duplicated so i had to pay duplicate. Condo was very outdated and dirty. Sheets in master bed were dirty with long black hairs on the one pillow case, only one pillow case, refrigerator smelled terrible so couldn't use, coffee maker dirty, little notes to not change thermostats, unit was very cold, no blankets on beds, the list goes on.

Everything was wonderful. If I were to have a complaint, which is no fault to the owner, is even though it is a smoke free home the neighbors below have no problem smoking and when you leave the screen door open to get the fresh Mountain air their smoke knocked you down to where you have to close the door. BUT, outside if that. Wonderful ā€¦ best week ever.

Beautiful views

Beautiful, quiet location with perfect views from decks. Well equipped with basics in kitchen, roomy, and weā€™ll suited for family with up to 4 children. It was just what we needed for a long weekend getaway , although the home could use a little TLC due to age and wear and tear. Although the place had been cleaned, crumbs and dirt was found between sofa cushions, under napkin holder, and corners of rooms, etc. Overall, we would come back just because of the location and family friendly size.
