Nice location!

There were a few hiccups during the stay, but the communication with the owners was great, and they attended to the issues right away! The proximity to the beach is very good with being just a few blocks away walk. My only critique and it's a personal preference is that I wish the windows on the main level had window shades, or blinds for more privacy. It was a little uncomfortable at first with my family not wanting people on the outside looking in at us while watching tv or walking around, but we got use to it.after a few days.

Great family home

We had a wonderful time at Gina's rental in Wildwood Crest. The house was beautiful and completely stocked with dishes and anything else you might need. The house was set up for all ages to enjoy and the backyard made it great for kids to run around. The location to beach and boardwalk was perfect!

Beautiful House, Bad Surprise

This is a beautiful home in a great location. HOWEVER, two days before we checked in we were told there is a “beach cottage” in the backyard that would also be occupied. So our private backyard was actually a shared space that was not mentioned in any of the information about the house. All week we had people walking through what we believed was our space, right past the windows which have no shades or blinds. We did receive a small refund for our inconvenience, but it honestly felt like the information was intentionally left off the listing. I don’t know if we would rebook.

Old meets New

This lovely older home was renovated with just the right amount of modernization. Beautiful spacious kitchen and dining area lends itself to gatherings. The shady backyard is such a bonus. Loved the roomy upstairs bedrooms and the updated bathroom. Was very impressed with this property as were all the family!

Great Stay in Wildwood Crest

Our family enjoyed our vacation. The house, property and amenities were exactly as described. The house has different rooms and spaces so that everyone had a place to relax and hang out - loved the extra room off the living room with all of the windows and light! It was helpful to have such a large kitchen. The neighborhood was fantastic and centrally located to shops, the beach and groceries. Thanks for letting us stay at your place!

Family time at the beach

Owner was very responsive to questions. Had an issue with hot water heater and loss of electricity. Both times, owner responded promptly and hot water heater was repaired. House was nice, close to beach, kitchen well stocked. Great to have a backyard to BBQ.

Perfect Home Away From Away

My family couldn’t have asked for a more lovely home for our beach vacation! The house is wonderfully furnished, immaculately clean and super comfortable and cozy. The listing is 100% spot-on with regard to amenities and location - you are so close to the beach and the boardwalk, yet the street itself is very quiet. Furthermore, Gina is an incredibly gracious and helpful host. She quickly responded to my questions and her instructions for features of the house are crystal clear. I highly, highly recommended staying here and my family would happily stay here again!

Excellent location, updated and clean

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The kitchen was beautiful and the house had a nice layout for 2 families. Upstairs had 2 rooms with queen beds and a large bathroom. Downstairs had a full and a day bed with a private bath. A nice room we used as a game room on the side with a glass door so other guests could watch tv in the living room. The location was wonderful, short walk to the beach, ice cream shop and bakery. I would highly recommend this property. We had one issue with the toilet handle loose and it was fixed immediately the next morning. Gina and Bill were excellent hosts!

Enjoyed Our Time

Based on what I read in the other reviews the property is accurately described and reviewed by others. The hosts were very friendly and quick to communicate. The neighborhood is an ideal location for those staying in the Crest. The street is quiet with little traffic. There is plenty of on and off street parking. The yard is adequately sized and equipped for those that prefer the yard to the beach. The house is an older property which was beautifully renovated. The kitchen and master bathrooms are 100% renovated. As called out in other reviews the house does not have central air but I would not have expected central air. The window units are adequate to keep the house at a cool temperature. Two items that did not negatively affect my rating are: 1. The cable package is limited but you are at the beach and probably shouldn't be watching TV anyway. In addition the Wi-Fi is strong, so streaming is an option. and 2. If you are extremely sensitive to smell there are some older books in the bedrooms that may trigger your allergies. I put these books in the bottom drawer and the problem went away for me. We enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here in the future. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful property. We had a great vacation.

Great for our group, but some good things to know...

This is a lovely property with a lot to recommend it like a beautiful kitchen with a large table for family meals and card games. We were 2 couples who stayed the week and two of our adult children showed up for a couple nights during that week, because who can resist a free night at the shore? The house was perfect for our group and our needs. The house is clearly recently renovated and is pretty and comfortable on the inside. It's a 15 minute walk from the house to the shore line, only because the beach is so wide that it feels like you walk an extra three city blocks once you hit the sand to get to the water's edge. If you own a beach cart (we didn't) you should definitely bring it, it will make the back and forth much easier. The property felt super clean, and spacious to our group of 4-6. The kitchen was well stocked with very nice cookware, plates and utensils. For us, the two very small draw backs were as follows: the whole house is air conditioned, but that is accomplished by a network of window A/C units. So, you have to be comfortable sleeping in bedrooms with the sound of the unit. Some of us found the sound helped sleep, like white noise, but some of us didn't like it. Also, we were surprised that the third bathroom is just a toilet with a curtain around it and no sink, at the back of the house in the laundry room/mud room. So, if you are a group of adults, it really is just a two bathroom house. There is one really nice remodeled full bathroom in the upstairs of the house, shared by the two queen bedrooms. Then the second bathroom (less remodeled) is en suite to the first floor bedroom with the double and single bed. Again, it worked out fine for our group, but we rented the property thinking there was a third half bathroom. Although, that toilet with the curtain (which was very clean) could be useful for children. Finally, while we loved hanging out inside of the house, we also enjoyed having the small green space in the back yard. The clothesline out there was a lifesaver for wet beach towels every day! Plus there were lots of birds, bunnies and butterflies keeping us company in the early evenings, providing a nice contrast to the to the beach.

Great house at the shore

The house was nicely updated and had plenty of space for our two families. The long driveway with plenty of room for cars was great. We will book again when returning in the future!

Great house, great location

This is a lovely home in the perfect location. We were able to walk to the beach, bay, and boardwalk! The kitchen was updated and perfect for cooking family meals. The bedrooms were spacious and peaceful and it was easy to get a great night's sleep upstairs while others watched TV in the downstairs living room. We would love to return to this house again.

Relaxing Stay

This property is very well kept in a quiet neighborhood. The living area on the first floor was spacious and great for spending time together. The owners of the property are very friendly and answered any questions we had right away. All in all, an excellent Wildwood stay!
