Enjoyed our stay

Cozy, clean 2 BD 2 BA steps from a quiet stretch of beach. Also enjoyed the pool and the bikes available first come first serve. Kitchen was tiny but stocked with the core basics (dinnerware, flatware, couple pots & pans, coffee filters, salt&pepper) which was fine with us as we didnā€™t cook anything other than breakfast. Close proximity to downtown South Haven (about a mile bike ride) & short drive to neighboring towns (set ā€œavoid highwaysā€ on your GPS to take the scenic route).

Relax Waterfront

My sister, my friend and I had a relaxing girls weekend. We woke up every morning to the beautiful site and sounds of Lake Michigan right outside our door. The condo was the perfect size for us. It was clean and had all the essentials needed. Thank you!

Beautiful views and wonderful grounds; average unit

The resort itself was wonderful for our family of 4 (3 & 5 year olds). The grounds are gorgeous and well-kept. The pool, beach, clubhouse and kids activities were wonderful! The views from the patio were stunning of the lake. The unit is very small. Some things that bothered us a bit about this unit: - Kitchen: No dishwasher, flat pans, pizza utensils nor kitchen scissors available - Rugs are really gross and needed to be washed / replaced; utility room hadn't been swept with lots of sand - Primary bedroom mattress and bed frame were quite unstable and the mattress caves toward the middle - Storm door on a windy day cannot be controlled because the opening faces the lake -- it flies open and takes your children with it - WiFi isn't strong enough to reach outside patio and cell reception for AT&T is severely limited - Steep set of stairs to get down to the unit entrance from the parking level wasn't apparent from the images / description The unit is just a bit "crusty" if that makes sense. The saving graces are the views, grounds, activities, beach, playground and other outside amenities.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are frequent Sleepy Hollow guests, but this was our first time in Condo G. First of all...THE BEACH IS BACK! So happy to see a beach, the top area built by SH over the last year is awesome too and it's great to see that they took all suggestions last year to heart. We love Sleepy Hollow and will continue making memories there. Dale in the office is so great and helpful. Condo G was okay, it's a bit small and lacking a few necessary kitchen items and it would be great if there was a dresser in the main bedroom. You definitely don't have a lot of extra space. The outdoor area is huge but only has one tiny table. It could benefit from some extra lounge chairs to make it more inviting. It's on the water and that is what you are paying for.

Reviewer Comments: Overall, we had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the location and privacy of staying at Sleepy Hollow. Paying extra for the close proximity to the lake was completely worth it! That being said, what came as quite a disappointment was the quality of mattresses provided. They are in need of immediate replacement and feel as though they should have been replaced years ago.
