Heel compleet huis op perfecte locatie

Geweldige week gehad in dit fijn ingerichte huis, alles was aanwezig. De locatie was perfect, bijna tot het huisje skiën en de weg oversteken en je kon je skies al aandoen. De supermarkt en bakker ook vlakbij. Enige minpunt was dat je niet goed met het raam open kon slapen..

Great Easter week with plenty of snow!

This 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, centrally located apartment ticked every box for the nine of us staying at Chalet Georgie. First location - For skiing the cross town bucket lifts are only 100 metres away which take you to the start of the pistes, alternatively ski's on 100 metres the other way for a short ski down to a lift. For food & drink, hotel Carabou bar and restaurant next door (No noise - don't worry) offer the best burger in resort - "The Carabou Burger". For apres ski - Bar Indiana and Smithys Tavern are one street above and below. Plus...the Sherpa supermarket only 50 metres away in case you forget the milk. The accommodation - 5 star property with extra touches like slippers and toiletries, a sauna, smart TV & Wifi, Loads of glasses, plates etc, kettle, toaster. All your home comforts you could need. Plus free parking outside. The owners, only live upstairs and provide excellent communication before and during your stay. We would happily go back when visiting Alpe D'Huez. Only negative would be the lounge area only seats approx 7 people, so would be a squeeze for 10. But this did not ruin the holiday and would not stop us coming back at all. Probably one of the best ski apartments we've ever stayed in for location and facilities. A big thank you for a fantastic trip

L'appartement fait partie d'un chalet au coeur du vieil Alpe d'huez. Il est à proximité des Pistes et des commerces. La décoration est soigné, l'équipement est complet et l'appartement est propre. Une mention spéciale pour les propriétaires : excellent accueil, prévenants et sympathique.

Excellent stay (February 2018)

We have just returned from our wonderful trip to Alpe d'hues and I cannot thank enough Laurence and her family for being such wonderful hosts. Our extended family (7 people, including two children) had a very enjoyable holiday, a big part of which was staying in a very comfortable, well presented and very conveniently located Chalet Georgie. The Chalet cannot be located more perfectly - walking distance to ski lifts, ski school and local restaurants, easy access by car from the main road, ample parking and yet quiet in the evenings. Upon arrival we found all rooms, kitchen and bathrooms well prepared and clean. The chalet has everything a family would need and we never felt we were missing anything. The hosts are extremely welcoming and pleasant family. Once again, we had a wonderful stay for which I would very much like to thank again Laurence and her family!

Very cozy chalet with perfect location

Your first impression will blow you away. The Chalet has a perfect location, close to the start of the slopes or to the ski lift (if there's no snow in the village), but also close to the center of the Village. Super market and ski rentals are very close (50 m). We stayed with 8 persons in the Chalet and it was spacious enough for us. Enough toilets and showers for everyone to prepare in the morning/evening. It is a little bit chaotic if all 8 persons wants to store their ski's & boots at the same time in the small entrance hall but this is really minor. On the other hand, we really liked the heating equipment to dry our boots! The sauna is blissful after a daylong ski trip. I would surely recommend it and would gladly revisit!

Superb apartment when racing La Marmotte

Absolutely superb apartment placed on the top of Alpe d'Huez. When racing La Marmotte you can't find a better place to stay.

Très bon séjour - Superbe appartement

Très bel appartement, récemment rénové et bien agencé. Très bien placé dans la station. 3 salles de bain qui permettent l'indépendances des hotes. Cuisine et espace de vie pratiques. Rien ne manque dans l'appartement, en particulier les accessoires de puericulture. Le sauna est un vrai plus, ainsi que les petits chaussons en arrivant ! Propriétaires très sympathiques et disponibles.

Super séjour

Nous avons passé un super séjour. Le chalet de MMe Gondoux est idéalement placé dans la station (proche départ pistes, commerces). Il est très bien équipé et la déco est remarquable. Nous retournerons avec grand plaisir à l'Alpe d'Huez et nous vous conseillons vivement ce chalet.

PARFAIT!

Superbe chalet offrant tous les équipements nécessaires. Les prestations sont de très bonne qualité, la literie confortable et la décoration moderne et agréable, aucun point négatif à déclarer! A cela s'ajoute la gentillesse et la disponibilité des propriétaires, bref un séjour PARFAIT!

...Luxe, Calme et Volupté

Idéalement placé dans la station, pour les skieurs et les autres, avec tous commerces et services à proximité, le Chalet Géorgie offre des prestations haut de gamme (le sauna est très appréciable en hiver). L'ambiance chaleureuse transmis par nos hôtes, la tranquilité de la rue, le soin dans les équipements et finitions, font que l'on ne veut plus quitter ce lieu. Idéal pour 6 à 8 personnes, c'est l'appartement parfait pour un séjour entre amis ou en famille, avec sa grande pièce commune pour les instants de convivialité, ouverte de la cuisine à la terrasse, et ses chambres bien séparées et confortables pour "cocooner" en toute tranquilité. Les petits plus qui facilitent le séjour : places de parking, draps et serviettes fournis, vaisselle en quantité, electroménager de qualité et adapté à la vie d'une tribue.
