Beautiful beach and sunsets

Beautiful views from balcony with amazing sunsets and gorgeous beach. Perfect stay for our group. Loved that it had a big bath tub and separate shower in Master bedroom. Kitchen worked well. Other than a few cracked floor tiles and an older worn down dining table, the place was wonderful. Location is ideal.

So disappointed

We have stayed at so many Vrbo rentals with our family. This by far was the worst ever so dirty. When we arrived we noticed the 2 twin beds were not going to hold my adult children safely. One beds frame was broken. We text the manager and told him we would just put the mattresses on the floor. Felt terrible that they slep that way all week. Since we all split evenly the cost then the second day in our oven went out. We purchased many groceries to help with expenses since we brought my elderly mother with us. Again called management. Was told they would be out to fix the oven. 3 days later They came the evening before we left that next morning. Just so disappointed. Will never stay again with them.

Southern Hospitality at its finest!!!!

We had a lil hiccup where the kids bedroom door was stuck….and it was my babygirl’s birthday (she turned 2). They were stuck in the room and in full panic mode. I contacted RealJoy and IMMEDIATELY an agent arrived and got the door open. He concluded that it was a construction issue and would have it fixed the following day. After being advised that it was our daughter’s birthday, he stated that he will also bring her a gift for the trouble the following day. He did!!!! My daughter was so surprised and excited! My husband and I was in complete shock because we couldn’t believe he kept his word. My only regret is that I didn’t get his name to give him the proper recognition he truly deserves. Overall the condo is awesome and definitely made us feel right at home as a family. Thank you again Real Joy and our next vacation reservation will definitely be made with you guys.❤️

It had a beautiful view of the ocean. The building didn't seem overly crowded at all. The door to the stairs wouldn't open, many times we wanted to avoid the elevator and could not.

Check info had to request. To get into apartment. Property was not clean filthy food sand on floor food stuck on tables and counter top pans and pots not usable or coffee maker. Mold in master bath tiles cracked Blake mold on air vents. No answer when called property management that night had to clean it myself lost the entire afternoon and evening from cleaning. In am called VBRO who attempted to contact the property management no answer then. Finally got a call back after text sent. They never cleaned the bathroom as AJ asked but left 50.00 gift card. Sheets were clean. A lot of property damage inside condo doors broken cracked shower wall in master bath broken doors. Views were beautiful. Access to beach was nice. Noisy when in front bedrooms from street noises. Wash and dryer rusted and so was the dishwasher.

An email is normally sent on the day of arrival at 2:00 p.m., which includes parking information, door codes, and gate codes. Please accept our apology for the cleanliness of this unit upon your arrival. Once we were made aware of this issue, we offered to have someone come reclean and a gift card. Both were accepted. Not the best experience.

The floors were not clean. I know to expect some sand but there was a lot of sand on the floor when we arrived. The handle on the microwave was broken. The garbage disposal didn’t work because it was full of sea shells. It looks like the pictures had been taken off the walls nothing on there but the hooks to hang pictures. One for the bed rooms doors had been broken looked like it was kicked in and it was glued back together. This condo sleeps 8 but only has 2 chairs and a little table on the balcony.

Great Vacation

We had a great time. The condo was nice and stocked fairly well in the kitchen. Be sure and bring trash bags, laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, hand soap, cleaning supplies, spices to cook with. The kids enjoyed plenty of beach time!

Great trip!

The condo was just as it was described. It was very clean but I gave it 4 stars on cleanliness because some windows were dirty and ones that were cleaned were streaky. The comforter in the main bedroom was clean but old and stained. We also did not have any trash bags. Otherwise great condo. We really enjoyed our stay and will come again!

Fall Break 2020

We enjoyed our stay. Parking was more of a pain with 2 being across the street and 1 car in the public parking lot for part of the week. Please advertise that 1 of the 2 extra bedrooms has a FULL SIZE BED, not a queen. 🙂

Great Location

This condo was in a great location, everything was very easy to get to from here. Condo was very nice, there was however No potholders of any kind any where, so I had to use the one and only kitchen towel when we stayed in and cooked. There is a lot of tiles that are cracked all through out the condo that probably should be fixed. Overall I would recommend and stay here again.

Roaches

My family and I simply couldn’t get past the filthy roaches and baby water bugs. I mean we worked our selves tired to be able to afford this to only be let down. No body should fear roaches crawling oun them at night or crawling into their belongings. We didn't read reviews and that’s a shame but clearly your company doesn’t care to have pest control come. The greed is almost as disgusting as the bugs. We shouldn’t have had to pay a cleaning fee when it wasn’t clean for us when we came. If you would like pictures and video I can supply that. I’ll be sure to leave them in my online review

Hi Haley, Thank you for your feedback on gorgeous, beachfront Grandview East 502. We are so sorry to hear about your experience. This issue should never have occurred and we wish we had known so that we could have addressed it during your stay. The building is responsible for taking care of pest control for this property. We will make sure that our ops team contacts the building and has extra service done to this unit. We appreciate you letting us know about your experience so that we can correct this for future guests.

Less than expected, cost more than it should

Equal to many others in area but off site parking was not good. Cost more than comparable places.

Infestation

We were very pleased with the condo at first. There were a few minor issues that can be overlooked, but roaches are unacceptable. There was an infestation of baby roaches in the kitchen drawers and inside the digital clock on the stove. It made trying to cook almost impossible. We had 16-month-old twins with us that we didn’t want to let run around because they put everything in their mouth. I called management to complain when we left and they apologized and said they would spray the condo and take care of the other issues, but never offered any reparation for our discomfort. We will not stay here again.

We would like to apologize for the inconveniences you experienced here. We did some checking and found that you didn’t contact us until the day of check out regarding these issues. After your stay the condo was sprayed and treated by the pest control company and we are working with the HOA to resolve the issue. Again, thank you for your feedback.
