Perfect accommodations!
We stayed in this flat for a week and found it to be perfect for our family of 6. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen had all the necessary appliances and the location gave us the opportunity to be out of the hustle and bustle of the busy part of the city while providing an easy way to all the areas we wanted to visit. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend these accommodations!

Great stay and location.
Annie was very helpful throughout our stay. Apartment was clean and very comfortable. Tube station is only 2 bus stops away or 5 minute walk. Bus stop to Tube station is right outside the apartment. Oyster card can be used for both Tube and London bus. Highly recommend.

Loved it!
We loved staying here! Maida Vale was perfect for our family of 4. There was plenty of space for everyone, which is something that we were looking for in a VRBO. I feel like a place this large and convenient is hard to find. The building was very secure and we felt so safe staying here! The tall windows were awesome for some fresh air. The kitchen is amazing and a treat to have while on vacation! I would certainly recommend Maida Vale...

comfortable and spacious apartment
The apartment had what we needed for our stay in London. It was a comfortable place to come back to after a long day of sightseeing and activities.
Shops and restaurants are walking distance so is the underground. The building is secure and very quiet. We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. The hosts are very responsive and checked in throughout our stay.

Lovely apartment
We had a very positive experience at this apartment. Annie was especially helpful in accommodating our early request for parking, which we greatly appreciated. The unit was clean and a perfect setup for our group of 5. It is a bit of a lengthy walk from the touristy areas but a quick two blocks to the nearest tube station. We enjoyed it and would recommend for a future stay.

Nice area
Property was in a safe area and close to bus line. There was no noise from people living in the apartments above or beside; however, would recommend earplugs if going to sleep with the windows open as bedrooms face the street and buses run all night long. The washing machine was convenient and drying clothes on the clothes rack was great - I was surprised how quickly the clothes dried. For other vacationers from US: you will need to bring or buy your own washcloths. Also shampoo, conditioner and body wash are not provided. Beds are comfortable with great pillows. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Comfortable apartment close to bus and tube stations
A spacious, comfortable apartment close to transport. There are several bus lines that service this apartment as well as tube stations.
The apartment is on a 3rd floor well serviced by a modern lift.
Kitchen equipped with lovely appliances and basic cooking utensils. A few basic things missing but overall workable.
Cleanliness was good for a lot of past reviewers but unfortunately for us it was not the case, including the iron which we couldn’t use.
Beds and pillows were comfortable.
The neighbourhood was ok but not as nice as when you go to centre Maida Vale.
Overall a comfortable apartment that serviced well our family of 4.

Home Away From Home
My husband and teenaged daughter stayed in this lovely apartment for a week in August, and we were very pleased. The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood, not far from central London. There is a locked exterior common door and a locked elevator which are only accessible by a key, so the building is very secure. The elevator was a necessity (and so appreciated) as the apartment is on the third floor. It made getting our luggage up and down so easy. The apartment is new and immaculately clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable.
The apartment is a half mile from the Kilburn Road tube station, which brings you to central London in 15 minutes.
When looking for a place to stay in London, air conditioning was a priority for us. Although listed as an amenity, the air conditioning didn’t work. Luckily, the nights were cool, so we were able to open the terrace doors and windows for a nice cross breeze. Annie was quick to provide us with two fans for our comfort.
When windows were opened, there was some street noise, as to be expected, since the apartment is right outside London and not in the Cotswolds.
There is a grocery story right down the road for essentials, which was very convenient.
Above all, it was a sincere pleasure to work with Annie. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment to anyone who is looking to visit London.

Just okay…
We just stayed at the “Little Venice” property and found it to be just okay.
Pros: the property was spacious and the kitchen appliances were great! Window coverings keep out the light. Iron works great.
Cons: I did not receive communication on how to check in. Sent multiple messages through VRBO over an 8 hour time span with no response. We were left standing outside the building luggage in tow, for about 25 minutes. My family stood there as I double checked my messages, email, junk email and VRBO messages. Not a good start. I finally got in touch with the manager and we gained entrance.
Inside, we were left with one kitchen towel and about 5 paper towels. Not enough for our multiple day stay. There was not a hair dryer which was listed as an amenity. The air conditioner didn’t work so we used the rattling fans that were left in the rooms and left the doors open which faced the busy street. I feel that this should have been disclosed prior to arrival, possibly upon booking.
The ironing board was foam and fabric draped on the metal stand. Blankets left on the bed were balled and looked old. Gray dining chairs were stained. Overall some basic upkeep is in need.

There are quite a lot of untruths when it comes to your review Ava! Hence I feel the need to refute a level of dishonesty - which we find, not only offensive but question why you would blatantly offer an untruthful review rather than an honest one. It makes us very sad to realize that you felt our gorgeous apartment was 'just okay' as you clearly had an awful time! What a shame!
Oh, and by the way, the apartment is not a 'Little Venice' apartment but a 'Maida Vale' apartment - did you think you had booked for Little Venice? That's a whole different experience from where our apartment is!
First things first, there IS a hairdryer at the property, which is why it is listed as an amenity and is easily found in the top drawer right next to the bed in the bedside table in the main bedroom! Why didn't you look for it and/or, if you couldn't find it (honestly not that hard at all - simply opening the bedside drawer would have revealed it! - And we have images BEFORE your arrival which prove it was there), why didn't you message us and ask where it was before sending your untruthful review stating there was no hairdryer - when there was?! We could have disabused you of this mistruth had you merely asked! Which would have meant you'd have had a hairdryer throughout your stay :-(!
Secondly, we send out very thorough communication to our guests when they book and we request that they DO check their spam/junk box which clearly you didn't do because the CLEAR check-in details were sent to you in the requisite time which would have circumvented you from standing outside the property (with your luggage in tow) and we can prove it was sent through our Property Management System which clearly highlights exactly when and to whom the emails are sent! AND furthermore, we don't send out the check-in details to our property until only a few hours prior to arrival (certainly not 8 hours - as we've had all sorts of unruly guests who have taken advantage of our good nature in the past and attempted to check-in sometimes the night before they've actually booked! - So, we have to have some sort of protection for our £850,000 central London property from unruly guests!) so that they can check in at their designated arrival time - which we did!
Further to the above, we have images prior to every guest's arrival (so that we are able to refute any mistruths such as yours) of all the amenities we provide, and again in this instance, we can confirm that we DID have several more teatowels than your suggested 'one towel' (we assume that's what you mean - teatowels) in the drawer just under the wall oven for our guest's convenience. I guess you didn't have a look for other teatowels or, again message to ask us if there were any more, but rather decided to offer a bad review because they weren't just sitting out cluttering the kitchen space in an obvious place for you to see the other two teatowels! We don't actually know what you mean about there being 'about 5 paper towels' as we didn't leave out any paper towels so perhaps you could elaborate on this as it's not something we ever leave - a fabrication on your part maybe?
The air-conditioner! What air-conditioner??? Your review is based on pure fiction! Not only do we not have an air-conditioner in the apartment but nor do we list it as an amenity! So, for anyone reading your review, let's hope they have the good sense to look to see whether or not we advertise an air-conditioner or not as it would certainly disabuse them of any disappointment if they simply 'expected' there to be one! But, you are correct, we do offer some fans in the apartment for the odd night when London gets hot - which isn't all that often as it's a notoriously 'cooler' city than most! So, we query why we would have 'disclosed' something to you, as our guests, upon arrival or 'possibly upon booking' for an amenity that simply didn't even exist and nor is it mentioned in our listing? Maybe in your mind, you had dreamed that there was air-conditioning in the apartment and you were disappointed with the fans - which you state as 'rattling' - which aren't even advertised as an amenity but we provide them anyway just in case our guests suffer from heat issues, but we don't have to! Air-conditioners are not a 'standard' item in the UK as it's a country that doesn't require it but we are very well equipped in this country with incredible heating systems because it can be incredibly cold here! We don't simply have 'American' amenities in the UK in every property because it's the UK!
It seems you are really intent on nit-picking every detail of the apartment! The ironing board - well, it's just that, an ironing board which yes, is metal (aren't most? - well in the UK they are!) with fabric covering the metal board - really, what is your actual issue here?
The blankets!? Which ones? Throughout the apartment we have several! You state they look 'balled and looked old' - I beg to differ! SOME of the 'throws' that we offer in the apartment actually have a 'bobble' effect on them but again - what is your issue here?
Unfortunately, as we state we are a small bespoke business offering our own properties to our guests for a 'home away from home' stay, we do have guests who abuse our properties (which makes us very sad). And, as a result, we can't always steam clean our upholstery when guests do all sorts of things to them (from allowing their children to draw on them, paint on them, spill all sorts of sticky liquids on them etc - it's quite a nightmare actually) and, when we have to prepare our properties for our next guests prior to their arrival we do our very best to get rid of the most offensive stains and marks our unruly guests leave and then, every couple of months we have to shut the property down so we can steam clean the items which really need it.
But perhaps you could give us some advice on how you would manage that when actually, our property is really popular with people who really want to stay there and enjoy it and who give us positive feedback for all the good things about it rather than focusing on mistruths and a guest's lack of being able to find items that are actually in the apartment?
We welcome positive and constructive feedback but we have to draw a line when our guests seem more intent on being disparaging over things that are rather more fabricated than based on truth.
I think it's best you find a different apartment for your next stay in London as clearly ours was very disappointing for you. We do our very best (especially since the disabling reality that COVID thrust upon us in order to attempt to keep our business going) to maintain our properties to a very high level and we think that your review is not a fair one but think that perhaps you might want to pay a little more for your accommodation in the future to achieve the level that you expect for your next stay.
We wish you well on your next visit to our incredible city and we remain saddened that you didn't enjoy staying with us.

Schöne Wohnung in guter Lage
Die Wohnung hat eine gute Aufteilung und ist perfekt für eine Familie mit 4 Personen. Die nächste U-Bahn Station (Kilburn Park) ist in weniger als 10 Minuten zu erreichen, ebenso kleine Supermärkte, Restaurants und Take Aways.
Unser Auto konnten wir sicher in der Parkgarage parken. Allerdings wurden unsere E-Mail Anfragen zum Parkplatz (eine bei Buchung, eine 3 Wochen vor Anreise) erst 2 Tage vor Anreise beantwortet. Die Parkgebühr konnte dann vor Anreise online per Kreditkarte bezahlt werden.
Hinweise zum Zugang in die Wohnung gab es erst 5 Stunden vor Anreise, Hinweise zum Parken des Autos erst auf meine Rückfrage hin. Dann gab es weitere E-mails zum richtigen Entsorgen des Mülls, zum WLAN-Schlüssel und zur richtigen Nutzung des Schlafsofas im Wohnzimmer. Alle E-Mails waren mit der Androhung einer Gebühr verbunden, wenn man sich nicht an die Vorgaben hält. Eine schriftliche Zusammenfassung in der Wohnung hätte ich persönlich angenehmer gefunden.
Die Wohnung ist an sich schön eingerichtet, war aber nicht sonderlich sauber und nicht gut gepflegt. Die Halterungen für die Bedienung der Rollos waren z.B. zu großen Teilen aus der Wand gerissen, 2 der 4 Stühle auf dem Balkon sind angerostet. Das Kochgeschirr war so schlecht gereinigt, dass wir es vor Nutzung noch einmabwaschen mussten. Der Fußboden klebte und auf den Tischen waren noch Flecken von den Vorgängern.
Es ist eine sehr schöne Wohnung, die durch ein wenig mehr Pflege zu einem sehr schönen Feriendomizil werden könnte.

L’appartement très très bien. Mais, à notre arrivée une des chambre a été transformée pour trois personnes.
Le rajous d’un lit pour une personne donnait à la chambre un air de dortoir…
Je l’avais choisi parce que il y avait 2 chambres identiques.
Mais bon on est à Londres et nous ne passions pas beaucoup de temps dans les chambres.
Un quartier très tranquille, la rue sans petit magasin, sans café et sans pub.

Ideal for a family stay in London
We booked a 5 night stay. All communication with the hosts was extremely efficient. The apartment is a new build and in top condition. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The photographs of the apartment are an accurate reflection. Location-wise it suited us very well, M & S Food is a 10 minute walk away and there are smaller grocery stores just around the corner for bread, milk etc. The number 6 bus into the centre of London (Aldwych/ Strand/ Covent Garden) is directly outside the apartment and departs every 10 minutes. We would definitely return.

Exceeded expectations
Expectations were exceeded in every way. Cleanliness, location, amenities, directions, etc., etc. First time In London for many many years and. The apartment is a short walk to the Kilburn Park stop on the Bakerloo line. Also a short walk to Abbey Roas, if your a Beatles fan! A fantastic apartment and great hosts.

Great family visit!
We had a lovely time visiting London and having this sweet property as our home base. This flat was very very clean, spacious and a great home away from home. The check in/check out was easy and communication was very clear and timely. Our only comment was that it was very warm, so the fans were very appreciated. Thanks again!

Why this property? Because it's simply gorgeous all year round. It's full of natural light, the two terraces are dreamy and the views over the garden and lovely London street are just sublime. Transport in and around London is a doodle from our apartment. It's quite literally the perfect London vase

Our apartment is brilliantly located with access to some of the best transport links in London. In particular, 0.4 miles to Kilburn Park Road tube station (which is also opposite Kilburn High Road overground station which offers direct access to Euston Station within 13 minutes), 0.5 miles to Maida Vale station, 0.7 miles to Queens Park station (where there are great local cafes, pubs, restaurants and many more within this fabulous small community high street), 0.9 miles to Warwick Ave station where there are also many fabulous cafes and restaurants with a short walk away from the Paddington Basin which has been totally transformed in the past decade to represent a fabulous local trendy place to be!
