Spring break in London
Our family (2 adults and 2 kids age 12 and 9) stayed here for our first trip to London. The flat was amazing, so centrally located and easy to walk around the neighborhoods or take the tube or buses into town. Absolutely fabulous!!

Some mishaps and disappointing.
First we were told we would be met by someone to let us in and tour the property. I arrived on time and no one was there. When I checked my email I had been emailed 45 minutes earlier saying it would be self check in. No explanation as to why and I should have gotten a call. The electrical/heat was a problem all weekend. We were unable to shower the first morning due to cold water. It was finally determined to be a fuse but it was faulty and kept switching off all weekend for no apparent reason. The company was responsive but offered to explanation or any type of discount for my constant need to monitor the heat and electric. By the end we were just resetting the fuse ourselves but it was stressful and unnecessary stress for a guest. It made the trip less seamless and was disappointing. I feel the host should have offered me some amount of refund for my need to monitor this issue. While the house was nice and clean as promised, I would not go back. I don’t feel there was enough effort made by the host to fix the ongoing issue or move us to a functioning home. I also think if we had been met by someone as promised on the first day we may have discovered the electrical problem earlier. I would not recommend this to theirs.

Corporate mentality unfortunately; not hospitable
The area was very walkable and that was nice. There was a back patio that was nice as well but my interactions with the office were very frustrating and disappointing. I needed clean towels after an eight day stay and I was told they would be charged 8 pounds per towel. I ran out of toilet paper and I was told that they gave me what they felt was an ample amount (which by the way was two rolls) and when I asked for more toilet paper, they said I would have to buy that on my own. There were no ice trays to make ice and the fridge had no icemaker. There was an iron that poured water all over my clothing, because it was very very inexpensive. There was no mirror or plug near a mirror to dry my hair, no mats in the shower to keep me from falling. The heat would not turn off and all the windows are painted shut and when I called they told me to just open the patio doors but it was so hot I was drenched in bed. It’s unfortunate because it could be a great place. If they didn’t want to be hospitable then why are they in the hospitality business? I would not recommend staying here.
