A beautiful, shore front property in the gracious Debordieu community. Traveling alone, you're assured of security and safety with the Debordieu security system. The house is perfect for one or a multitude with so many bedrooms and bathrooms and expansive porches and living space. The home's orientation to the beach and coast is ideal. There are miles of coastline to easily walk or enjoy relaxing time on the screened porch.

Great home with a beautiful view of the ocean

Home is very spacious and great layout. Ocean view can’t be beat from ground floor to upstairs bedrooms. We had 12 with 6 adults and 6 children under 9. Only 1 tv but ended being a good thing which allowed adults to interact more. Well pleased with home!

We were able to get to our vacation house Sunday and were extremely pleased! The home is very well appointed, and situated right on the beach. I’m a cook and normally do a lot of cooking while at our beach houses and this house had the best kitchen of any home we have ever stayed in over the last 14 years coming to South Carolina. To compliment the Tidelife crew they helped us navigate the bump in hurdles that came with our flights being canceled. Happy Okies with this trip!

The only problem was trying to decide where to relax and enjoy the view......a comfy lounge chair in the upstairs deck, the huge screen porch, the hammock, the beach itself which is just down a few steps? So many choices! Great location, quiet neighborhood. We rode bikes around DeBordieu and walked on the beach.made a couple trips into Georgetown for nice meals

Wonderful House and Vacation!

This home is the exception in that the pictures do not do it justice to how wonderful it is. The build quality and layout is amazing. We had two families, so five adults and four kids and everyone loved it. It is right on the ocean and solid enough you can not hear anything in the house upstairs or down. When we left my wife wanted to buy it as is for our beach house!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We did a quick weekend trip for Mother's Day weekend with our family and had a blast. The layout of the home was incredibly functional. Steps away from the beach, multiple outdoor showers and a bathroom that was really convenient for everyone so no one had to go inside the house while having beach time. Amazing ocean views from top story two bedrooms and main floor bedroom. Our favorite part of the home was the massive back screened in porch overlooking ocean. Beach is quiet and peaceful, not overly busy like most other beaches. We will absolutely come back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I rented this home along with my mother and sister, and we had such a great time. The house itself is beautiful and well kept inside and out, and the views were amazing. We felt completely safe at the house, and we took advantage of the nearby nature walk and saw deer, gators, and so many water birds! I wouldn't recommend the house if you have issues with climbing stairs; they are steep and there are a lot of them. Typical for a beach front home, just something to consider. On the other hand, the higher you go, the better the view. :-)

I agree with a previous reviewer: someone with an eye for architecture designed this home. The triple hung windows are so cool and allowed for amazing views. Just an FYI if you are traveling with someone with mobility challenges: there is no elevator and you will need to climb some stairs. As always, Tidelife is the best there is. We have already booked again for March.

Needs attention/cleaning/maintenance ASAP!!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Incredible location! Unfortunately from day one there was a huge bug problem/roach infestation everywhere in the main area of kitchen as well as the upstairs bedrooms even after exterminators came out to treat. Will send pictures. House needs cleaning everywhere top to bottom- outdoor bathroom was filthy. Washing machine needs to be cleaned mildew and mold corroded inside had to clean out ourselves. Curtains in upstairs bedrooms bathroom have debris and dust as well as the vents covered- Not enough attention with cleaning and maintenance and bug problem should look into ASAP, as it was an issue the last time we stayed three years ago, it was 10 times worse 3 years later!!

Not that this will matter much to the reading guests or potential renters looking at this property for the future - but I would like to address the situation for others to get a better understanding. Your reservation was originally booked 2 years ago and TideLife was kind enough to transfer your booking not once, not twice, but three times to accommodate your family at the time of a loss. While we sympathize the situation, our typical cancellation policy would not have allowed you to do so. Secondly, I would like to point out this property has never been reported for lack of cleanliness or deferred maintenance. We apologize for the issues you faced during your stay - but please remember TideLife worked super hard every day to address all issues reported during your two week stay. We even accommodated your pets when pets are NOT allowed at the property and we were never notified prior to your arrival you were bringing pets. Our maintenance technician reported them being at the property while he was there for a service call. We kindly made a call to the owner of the property and out the kindness of her heart, she allowed it. We hope you have better luck in the future with another rental company!
