We were pleased to find this house available for Labor Day weekend, as we have stayed there many times before. It's large, beautiful, several sitting areas and across the street from the beach. A wonderful place for family to congregate!

Beautiful home with close access to the beach. Ocean can be heard and can be seen from upstairs windows. Know there are a lot of stairs. There is an inside elevator but I’m claustrophobic so I didn’t use but it appeared to work fine. When first arriving I would suggest parking near front stairs and going up that way. Back stairs have a lot of stairs to get up. Beds were comfortable. Home looked as pictured and was clean. Do bring supplies such as toilet paper, soap and paper towels as those are not provided. Sue was an excellent host and very easy to communicate with. Beautiful area! I suggest visiting Brookgreen Gardens while there.

Lovely home in Debordieu

Perfect Fall Family Getaway!

The beautiful rental property was ideally located across the street from DeBordieu Beach. Our check-in was super easy and the host was a good and timely communicator. The home was perfectly sized for our family of 8 plus a newborn.

Great stay

We have been coming to Debordieu for over 20 years and this is now one of our favorites. Very convenient to beach and amenities and also plenty of space to accommodate all of our inside needs - remote work, read, catch up, eat, etc. There are numerous porches for a relaxing spot no matter the time of day. Sue was a fantastic host who made us feel at home - before we even got there.

Great Family Getaway and Birthday Celebration

Gorgeous home and location

We had a lovely time on Debordieu, the house is perfectly located, short walk to the beach with views of the ocean and enjoyed the waterway out back with a blue heron. The house was fully stocked and included beach gear (chairs, boogie boards, beach cart). The best was the communication from our host, easy and quick responses before and after the trip.

Great House and Location

This home is well laid out and equipped. Great view of the ocean from front screen porch and short 2 min walk to beach just across the street. The owner is very helpful and made everything easy. Look forward to renting again.

Great rental house!

Our family rented this house for a week and everything was fantastic. The upstairs screen porch is perfect for relaxing and eating outside when weather allows. The location is perfect just across the street from a beach path. The owner was very communicative and hospitable, which made our week that much more enjoyable. We will certainly return in the future.

Great family vacation

The house was great for our family! Plenty of room to spread out. Very well equipped with everything we needed, beach chairs, toys, and more. The elevator was much needed for my husband that uses a cane. Beach access is right across the street. Beautiful home and wonderful week 🏖️🙌👍

The boys and men in my family are into inshore and deep sea fishing, thus we spent many a summer at beaches so they could do what they enjoyed while the girls and ladies did what they enjoyed; shopping, cooking, sitting on the beach with a great book. Debordieu provided the best of everything and closer for all of us. It is home away from home.

Deboridieu is so peaceful and serene, away from the hustle and bustle and traffic of the other beaches. It offers what I really wanted in beach visits, a lovely place to stay with gorgeous surroundings with little noise from the outside world.

The beds are confortable, the surrondings are pristine; sometimes early in the mornings I am the only person in sight on the beach. It is like a fairy tale place.
