Beautiful inside and out-adorable seaside retreat

Fantastic location with amazing view from the bedroom, dining area, and deck. Close to several beautiful beaches and nice dining options; the host was super-helpful and responded quickly to any of our questions. The only challenge was negotiating the hot tub which is shared with the adjacent property, which was fine with one group but a little trickier with the other. But we’d go back in a heartbeat.

Tiny getaway

This is a tidy little unit with a million dollar view and spectacular setting. The listing was pretty accurate but I would suggest they change it to say it accommodates two comfortably because of its tiny size. Loved it!

Great spot and cottage

You could get not closer to the water. Beautiful view. Well thought out space and furniture with expected tiny house quirks that add to the charm. My Father who was with me uses a walker and the unit had the easiest access from the parking.

Too small and misrepresented via pictures

Would not recommend anyone 200 pds or more to move around in this confined space.

hi Carla, Sorry to hear that you found the space too small. Our description clearly states that the this is a 260 square foot tiny house. We do have a large deck space and our photos represent the property the way it is. I recommend reading the descriptions when you book next time:) Sorry that your experience was not as expected.

Sea breezes and water views…..ahhhhhh

Definitely a tiny house. The deck with the view and water views mad3 this place special. However the bed was difficult to get into due to the size of the room and bed. Might work better if the removed the footboard. Everything was clean with the exception of the couch in the living room area, it was horribly stained not to mention uncomfortable. Lastly, it should be noted that there is no air conditioning nor good airflow even with windows open I assume that this wouldn’t normally be a problem but with the warm weather in August it really could have used a ceiling fan in the bedroom. HOWEVER, let me repeat that the deck on the water makes this place heavenly!

Dear Ursula, Thank you for the feedback. It’s always helpful for hosts . There 2 things mentioned here that we are upgrading for 2023 . You are absolutely right , july and part of august are the only time of year that can get hot . We are planning to put an ac next year . We have also ordered a new sofa bed from lazy boy and is arriving soon . I must mention that it is a tiny house and I think it should be expected that the space is compact . We specifically did mention the size and that there was no air conditioning in the listing. I do appreciate your feedback and will be working on improving the guest experience, Kind regards Priyanka.

The real review

The good: Location, Views, cleanliness of property and the hot tub for sure! The bad: it’s not a place 4 people could fit in. 2 tops. You can’t get into the bed very easily due to there only being about a foot walkway to get there. The air circulation in the unit is not good and when it rains it’s even worse as you can’t leave the windows open. The neighbors walk right in front of your windows to get to their cars. Too much stuff in the place to move around easily. I would rent the bigger of the two units if I were to come again. Even if it were just two of us.

Hi Rene , Thank you for your feedback. We have added an air conditioning unit in this retreat now. Regarding space we do clearly state in the description that the cottage is 288square feet and it is a tiny home and it sleeps 3 . We also specify that the hot tub is shared with the unit next door . I do recommend booking 2 cottages side by side . We hope you can book our other cottages in the near future.

Our cleaners painstakingly wipe down all surfaces and high touch areas with a diluted bleach solution and all bedding is washed at the highest temperature to ensure the house Is properly disinfected between guest visits.
