Absolute no brainer, beautiful property

This is the perfect spot for large groups. Functional big house with lots of space and nice finishes, huge private property with old trees and open space, 5 min from Fredericksburg. Indoor pool. It's perfect for large groups.

Amazing!

I have only positive things to say about this property and the host, Nicole. The house is beautiful, the beds are so, so, SO comfortable, & the pool was fun! Nicole was very responsive and the check out expectations were more than reasonable. Not to mention it really is less than 10 min away from Main St. Book it and enjoy!

80th Birthday

We returned to Fredericksburg for my mother 80th birthday celebration. My family and friends visited my mother all weekend long. Everyone commented on the house and the beautiful landscape. We had a great time.

This is an adorable property and we had a great time the only thing was for a 5-6 bedroom property the kitchen table was tiny and there was dirty dishes in the drawers and the dishwasher was full when we arrived

Hi Lisa, Thank you for your review we are glad you stayed with us. I am sorry that this was an issue, and we would have remedied it immediately with our cleaning crew if we would have known at the time it occurred. We will address with them now that we know. Regarding the kitchen table, due to the kitchen nook size there is not space for a larger table, however we do have a large dining room table attached to the kitchen area where we hope everyone can be comfortable. We additionally are adding picnic tables outside so their is additional dining space for guests and their friends that may come and visit. Thank you again for the feedback and happy to touch base further.

friends and I went on vacation here and couldn’t enjoy it more. The houses were everything they are advertised and the pool house was great but there is not enough said about the backyard. The backyard at night is nestled between the three buildings for privacy and when the lights in the beautiful trees light up it will set a mood like no other. When looking for a nice quiet place to relax and visit with family and friends this is the place you’ll want to be.

Great Family Stay

We were here for a family wedding and this house was excellent for our family with plenty of room and the property was excellent. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool and the ping pong and games in the garage. The little ones had plenty of room to explore in the backyard as well. The amenities were great and the welcome bottle of wine was a wonderful touch. Thank you so much for giving us a wonderful place to stay during our time in Fredericksburg. We will most definitely be back!

Beautiful and Fun

The house was so cute, I actually don't think the photos do it justice. It was so nice and spacious. They even had a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived which I thought was sweet. It is a little further from downtown, but not that far. It was nice and quiet on the property, you can even see two horses out the kitchen window. We had a great experience and would recommend this house.

Great girls getaway trip

We really enjoyed this precious manor and the indoor pool. Weather was overcast and it sure was a nice break after shopping. It was cold but we just took the plunge and enjoyed it. The beds were so comfy so we got the relaxation we all needed. There were 6 of us and plenty of rooms to get rest. We enjoyed the BBQ pit provided and also the games in the garage were great to pass the time away. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable annual girls getaway experience!!

Exceeded All Expectations

There's simply not enough good things to say about my experience with this property and our host. Everything was exactly as advertised and exceeded every expectation that my friends and I had. The rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. The communication between the host and myself was prompt and easy. The convenience of the location to shops and wineries was optimal. I'd highly recommend this property to anyone. Cheers!

Hill Country Escape

Everyone enjoyed the peace and quiet of the property. However, we did encounter a problem with the entry code and were locked out of the house. The owner was contacted and she stayed on the phone until we were able to get the door unlocked.. The pool was used by adults and children however, we found the water to be a little too cold. It would have been better if the water had been heated. There were enough beds to accomodate everyone and the beds were comfortable. One item that was a negative was that porches had not been swept and the windows could have used some cleaning from the outside. Some of the lamps and fixtures either had bulbs burned out or light fixture did not work. In my opinion the cost was a little pricey for the condition of the property.

Quaint and perfect

We had 3 families. 3 moms, 1 dad and 1 grandmother. 3 boys about 14 yrs old and 3 girls 12 yrs old. The couple stayed on the cottage, the single mom had a king size bed to herself. The grandmother and her adult daughter stayed in the Master Bedroom upstairs (it had a bathroom.) The 3 girls shared a king bed, the 3 boys stayed in the 2 adjoining rooms. There was plenty of space in the kitchens for us to cook and visit, the dining room table fit all 11 of us, the sitting room was nice to play games in. The kids LOVED the indoor pool!! They enjoyed the doze ball and ping pong in the garage the first night, but after being outside all day they preferred the pool. We took nightly walks around the neighborhood road and was always excited to see so many deer! This place was lovely! I highly recommend it and hope to come again.

Great Place!

This house was very Nice and clean and safe neighborhood, close to town and stores, very nice bedrooms even the room with the murphy bed was nice , but I would suggest heating the pool a little, the pool is closed in and gets no sun and the water stays ice colds but the pool was very nice, very sweet people that own this house very easy to get a hold of if needed, answered back for any Questions about anything.

Great stay fir a large group

This is a wonderful location. Very close to town with a country feel. The cottage had a few bath tub issues that the owner was not aware of. I am certain she will get it fixed promptly. Be aware that the bedroom in the study is not private. You walk through it to the master downstairs. Overall we had a great time and hope to return next year.
