At the same time, I sincerely apologize for the disappointment you experienced regarding the patio area and beach access staircase. We understand that the convenient access to the beach was a significant factor in your decision to book this ground-floor unit, and we regret that we did not notify you in advance about the ongoing dune restoration project and the closure of the staircase. We recognize how frustrating it must have been to arrive and find construction barriers and restricted access that were not reflected in your expectations. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Your feedback is valuable and helps us improve our communication with future guests regarding construction projects and any impacts they may have on the guest experience. We would also like to sincerely thank you for taking such great care of the home and for following the house rules during your stay. We truly appreciate your respect for the property. Despite the inconvenience, we hope you were able to enjoy your time at Pajaro Dunes and make the most of your stay. Pelican 3 is a lovely condo and ideal for those who would rather not have to use stairs as it is on the ground level. Unfortunately, most ground level homes do not provide any ocean views but are near beach access. We do have various other homes that have amazing ocean views. If you are interested in getting more information on these do not hesitate to give our office a call. We are happy to assist with any questions! Our office is open 7 days a week from 9am to 5pm. We are in a secluded area that is perfect for a peaceful vacation but that does mean we are about half an hour away from bigger cities. Thank you! We do understand that coming to our lobby to check in and then stop at the 2nd gatehouse for your parking pass is a tad inconvenient. With 550 homes here, we accommodate the rules of the homeowners assn., which requires the parking pass be given in person. Hope to welcome you back again soon!
