Wir würden uns freuen, wenn Sie Ihren nächsten Urlaub im South Star verbringen würden. Diese Endeinheit im ersten Stock bietet einen spektakulären Meerblick und ist nur wenige Schritte vom Pool oder Strand entfernt.
Die Terrasse bietet direkten Meerblick und ein neues Terrassenset sowie einen Anti-Schwerkraft-Loungesessel. Wir halten auch einen Strandkreuzer auf der Terrasse für Sie bereit, wenn Sie die vielen Wanderwege in der Umgebung erkunden oder einfach den Strand etwas schneller erkunden möchten, als es zu Fuß möglich ist.
Das Gerät verfügt über ein Schlafzimmer mit einem brandneuen Queensize-Bett, zwei "Crews Quarters" Doppelstockbetten, die in den Flur eingebaut sind (Bettgitter werden kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt) und ein brandneues ausziehbares Schlafsofa im Familienzimmer sowie Power Recliner (die Upgrades für Familienzimmermöbel basierten auf Kundenfeedback, weil Ihre Erfahrung zählt!). Wir haben auch zwei lustige Kinderstühle für die Kleinen, ich kann Ihnen aus Erfahrung sagen, dass sie zum Spielspaß (viel Spinning lol) und zum Entspannen und Rocken für die Kinder nach einem Tag am Strand arbeiten.
Die Unterkunft verfügt über einen eigenen Parkplatz, der nur wenige Schritte von der Haustür entfernt ist.
Das Familienzimmer verfügt über zwei Schiebetüren, die auf den Innenhof führen, wo Sie sitzen und sich entspannen können, während Sie auf das Meer blicken. Gleich hinter Ihrer Terrasse befindet sich die Grillstation und rechts der Pool.
Dieses Gerät ist Teil der letzten Wohnanlage auf der Vergnügungsinsel, die einen bequemen Zugang zu Wander- und Radwegen durch Fort Fisher sowie zu den historischen Denkmälern und Bürgerkriegsmuseen bietet.
Brauchen Sie einen Tag in der Sonne? Nehmen Sie einfach eine kurze Fahrt zum Aquarium! Diese Lage macht es auch einfach, das Fährsystem nach Southport zu nutzen!

Great place!

Julie was awesome! Very responsive to messages, the place was spotless and so cozy! The pool was right around the corner and beach access was very convenient. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again.

Wonderful Stay

The condo was very clean and as described. This was perfect for 2 adults and 1 child. The owner was very informative and provided all the necessary details for our check in. Julie was the perfect host! The ocean view was very nice and having the beach access a few steps away made it much easier to come and go. The pool is also right outside the condo. The location is perfect - less crowded and quiet. We will definitely be back!

Amazing family vacation spot

We had an amazing stay at Julie's place. It fit our family's needs beyond perfectly and we will definitely be returning. The washer/dryer helped immensely as we were able to pack less for our three-year-old and ourselves. The proximity to the ocean made it extremely easy to come on and off the beach as needed. The pool right behind the property was our daughter's favorite part. Julie is a wonderfully responsive and helpful host. Stay here!

Great location!

Great place to stay for a family of 4. The location can’t be beat. It’s basically on the beach. Quiet private section of the beach. The condo was furnished with everything we needed to cook dinner every night. Would definitely stay here again.

Summer Vacation 2024

This property is exactly as described. Super clean. Literally a stones throw to the beach - easy getting our things on and off the beach - would be great for families with littles or older family members (on ground floor). The kitchen is well fitted, TV in living room and bedroom for late night winding down. It was just my husband and I, but we even made use of the sand bucket in the well stocked beach closet. we had no issues and did not need to contact the owner, but when we left she thanked us for our stay and wished us a safe trip - I feel if we had needed to contact her, she would have been prompt. It was the first time we have been to Kure Beach and we loved the area, a trip to Southport via the ferry is a MUST. Next time we will plan our stay a little better as we didn't get to visit long, but we loved our stay and are already planning a second trip.

Excellent Fathers Day Beach Vacay

We stayed at South Star for 4 nights with two adults, a toddler, and two kids under 9. The toddler fit easily in his pack n play in the bedroom with us. The other kids slept very comfortably in the bunk beds (I wanted to steal their beds because those new mattresses on the bunks were so comfortable - took a wonderful nap in the bottom bunk myself one day). The newly renovated bathroom was very nice. The shower is large and water was hot. The AC kept the condo perfectly cold. We ate most of our meals at the condo, even used the outdoor grill one night. This unit was so easy being on the first floor, the kids enjoyed playing in the sand right outside the patio. The beach and pool were steps away, and neither ever felt crowded. The pool was perfect for our kids, going from 3 ft to 5 ft. The beach was not very “big” as in you don’t have to walk across a mile of hot sand to get to the water. And the waves were fairly gentle and the sand not too rocky or full of shells. Plenty of crabs to hunt at night with a flashlight. We visited the USS North Carolina battleship one day, and the aquarium another day. The aquarium is on the smaller side, we only spent less than two hours there but it is nice for getting out of the sun. If we’d had more days we would’ve gone into Southport for a day. Overall, South Star met all of our needs for a wonderful vacation. Thank you for sharing your condo with us!

We have stayed at many different condos at different beaches over the years, and this may just be the best one. We usually try a different beach each year, but this one might become our go to. Julie is the best host I have ever dealt with. So quick to respond to any question, not to mention, anything you may need during your stay is already provided. The place was clean, very nice, and right on the beach, which is a must for me. I fell in love with the small town feel of Kure Beach since we really don't care for the crowds. I really don't have anything bad to say about it. Go there! I'm hoping it's available when we're ready to go back to the beach. I really can't gush about Julie enough either, such a pleasure.

Love South Star and Fort Fisher

We stayed at the South Star for the Fourth Annual Please Island Jeep Jam. The location was perfect for the Fort Fisher Rec Area and the 4x4 Beach. The condo was clean and updated. The tile in the shower is beautiful! Loved that there was a box fan available. We enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely perfect!

This property checked all the boxes. I (32f) and my friend (65f) had an absolutely perfect time. The pool not only is stunning and very clean, but the deck offers great views of the ocean without having to walk in the sand. The beach is literally steps away. We spent way too much time searching all of the awesome shells and enjoying the very private area. The unit was perfect. Updated appliances, tons of storage and sleeping areas, a wonderful patio that stepped out to offer direct access to the pool and ocean. Views of the ocean from the living room, having all of the appliances available, a grill, chairs for the beach as well as boogie boards, books to read, extra blankets and pillows, all of these things made our trip that much more enjoyable. The aquarium was just down the street as well, along with beautiful walking paths with oceanfront views. The bathroom was large and very clean, the shower was updated and refreshing after a day in the sun. Nice bars and restaurants are right down the strip, and everyone we met was incredibly friendly. 10/10 would absolutely stay again.

Anniversary trip

We went down to stay for our 46th anniversary and was very impressed with the condo. We kept looking for the condo but didn't realize that the front door wasn't facing the road but instead on the side next to the neighbor. After that everything was a breeze. It has everything you need, just bring your food and settle in. The Southport ferry is just 1 mile up the road and down the road a few miles is a really good restaurant, Jack Michaels. The condo is at the very end of the housing area and has excellent hiking and biking trails so plan accordingly. I would stay there again and I'm very picky.

Kure beach is such a laid-back place! You get the true Carolina feel here.

The nature trails across the street and directly south of the unit are just beautiful, and you won't have to drive to get there.

If you do want to take a ride you are about 5 minutes away from what us locals call "the end of the world", here you have breath taking views of the mouth of the Cape Fear and the ocean. You can even walk a rock wall during low tide that puts you right in the middle of the two. Also, some amazing fishing here.

If you have 4 wheel drive, and are brave, you can take your ride out on the South End for the day.

Carolina beach is a short 5 minute drive just to the North making it easy to enjoy the beautiful boardwalk and night life.

You can't stay any further down on the island, the Riggings is it! This really gives you a peaceful atmosphere that you can't get elsewhere on the island. When we say it is on the ocean, we mean it, and the pool is as well. The pool has bar seating facing the ocean, so come swim, have a drink and let the waves take your stress away!
