Excellent property!

Stayed for 6 weeks & absolutely loved it! Responsive owners, very clean, amazing saltwater pool & quiet neighborhood! Road our rzr out of the 3 car garage to sand hollow on the daily! HIGHLY suggest you book here, we will stay here everytime we come out!

overall this was a good stay for us and a base for a week of hiking southern utah house is nice and generally as presented online, neighborhood is a little odd mix of seasonal and permanent folks were a little surprised by all the separate fees when the advertised rate was much lower than the actual cost, seems like more upfront rate and less fees would be better

Perfect Jeep week!

The house was perfect for my hubs and I and one of his friends. We had plenty of room for us to have some space & privacy. The back patio was so nice to host dinners with our friends. Plenty of room for our vehicles, toys & trailer. Nice pool and outdoor space with a bbq. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Great house on a quiet court. Easy access to sand hollow rec area and other destinations.

Perfect location for Ironman

Home is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood near Sand Hollow. We felt this was the perfect place to stay for Ironman. Got to sleep in an extra 2 hours and avoid the shuttles. The house itself is in great shape and very well appointed with everything we needed. Not being used the desert the back yard being all gravel was new to us. Some landscaping would really spruce up the back yard. The pool more than made up for it though. We took full advantage of the bean bag toss game as well. Jennifer our host was always prompt in communication even when our son surprised us with his dog. We were grateful it is a pet friendly home. Overall a very positive experience and I would recommend this property.

Great location! Spacious and clean!

Large fenced backyard but watch out for small thorny weeds while walking barefoot around the pool! House was beautiful with concrete floors, great for our dogs! Area rugs throughout home, beds and baths were separated with open floor plan for main living space. H ayes pool was beautiful but too cold to use it this time!! We would highly consider returning. Nice community to walk in and a great park with dog park, Pickleball. We stayed here to hike the many area trails last le Red Reef and Cottonwood Wash, Yant Flats/Candy Cliff, Chuckwalla, Three Falls Trail, Confluence, Virgin Dam, Aviation, Shinob Kibe Trails, Yellow Knoll, West & East Cinder Knoll Trails, St George Narrows and the Virgin River Bike Trail. We also visited Snow Canyon State Park for a day with sand dunes, lava tubes and a slit canyon!

Great House

Overall, my family and I really enjoyed staying at this house. There was plenty of room and it had everything we needed. The only issue that we encountered was that upon arrival, the beds were not made, bathrooms were not cleaned, and the sheets and towels were not washed. I called the owners and they rectified the situation immediately, which I appreciated. The cleaning person apologized that she didn't see this cleaning on her scheduled. But my concern was that they spent about an hour at the house cleaning which left me to wonder if all the sheets were all really washed and dried in that period of time. But I do believe in 2nd chances would give this place another try because aside of what we encountered, this house was really perfect for us.

Cat pee paradise

If you love the smell of the cat pee, that is the place for you. We arrived on a Monday afternoon, an hour before an actual check-in time, and checked with the property manager if it were ok to move in then. We called the lady who said that it was not possible to get into the house as the cleaning crew was still there. Which was ok, and understandable. We just waited by the house until it was time to check in - to our surprise, no one had ever exited the property to signify that anyone was actually there still cleaning. When we entered the house, we were punched in the face with a strong smell of cat pee. The good thing about it is that you eventually get nose-blind to it (probably at day 3). We carefully investigated where the source of the smell was coming from and turned out it was a leather couch. There was a whole bunch of fluffy pillows and one of them had a huge pee stain on it as well. There was also a post-it note left on the counter from the previous renters (does it mean they did not clean the counters, we thought?). The pool had some sand and tiny rocks on the bottom of it, but the day was pretty windy, we ended up being charged extra cleaning fees for a dirty pool, 50 mph winds down here kick up a lot of sand and little rocks. To be fair, the property owner refunded us the original cleaning fee to make it right. But did that change the fact that he needs to reconsider employing his current cleaning crew that does not seem to care? One of our family members was due for surgery upon arrival back home, and they had to undergo mandatory Covid testing which came back positive. The weather during our stay was chilly and we wanted to add on the heating fee to warm up the pool. It explicitly says that it would not get heated up to the hot tub temperature, but after waiting for a few hours after the confirmation that the heater has been on, we got desperate to feel any changes and contacted the owner again to let him know that the pool was still as cold as it could be. Turns out, there was some malfunction in the heater, and they had to order a new part to repair the heater. Talk about all those people complaining the pool was cold and their complaints were just being swept under the rug. The house was gorgeous, but what is the cost of that when you cannot be sure about the cleanliness of your vacation home. That does not give you any peace of mind at all.

Not very clean.

Although this property is in a good location, minutes from sand hollow resort, there are a few disappointments. The rugs are very dirty. They for sure need to be replaced. We didn’t want to take our shoes off and walk around. Dog poop in the backyard from previous people renting, was not picked up. At first we only saw a few poops on the putting green but soon saw a bunch more and they looked old. I am hoping we don’t get charged for a heated pool. The manual when you walk into the house says the pool would be heated to 82 upon arrival. It was at 70 when we looked. The kitchen utensils were dirty. The wine glasses were disgusting. We had planned to bbq but the bbq did not get hotter then 300 degrees and took forever to heat. The tv would only work for ten or so minutes at a time. We asked the owner how to fix it and she told us to unplug the fire stick. We had to unplug the fire stick every 10 minutes the entire trip. Overall I would say the property needs updating and needs to be deep cleaned. For sure not worth the price.

Great location

Perfect location to hit Zion, bring our dog, and keep the kids busy swimming. The pool was great and the house fit our family perfectly. Very quiet neighborhood. We even found a doggy daycare for our day trip to Zion. Spent another day exploring Sand Hollow and a day in St George. Great location for everything.

Overall great~

Great house. Great for dogs. Owner flexible and great communicator. Issues with pool's heater but eventually resolved. Only recommendation would be for a better internet router- dropped us a few times a day. That said, we hope to come back!!!!! Having the pool is wonderful.

Great house for soccer tournaments weekend!

We had a great time at this house. We had kids in 2 soccer tournament and some had to be in hurricane and some had to the Washington for games. We loved the pool (but there is no cover ) and the beds were comfortable and we all slept great! The owner let us stay a bit later after checkout out so we didn’t have to drive home with stinky soccer players. The only thing I’d recommend (based on other homes we’ve rented) is labeled light switches, a crock pot and new pots and pans. The handles were broken and non of the kids seemed to fit. Awesome place and a super bonus that it was pet friendly!! Thanks for the awesome weekend!

Property is a great option if you’re playing at Sand Hollow. House is clean a comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. Private pool was awesome. Plenty of room for our toy trailer to the side of the driveway. Will definitely stay again.

Perfect location to the Sand Hallow Resort.

The whole family loves it, perfect place for all ages and the inside is nicely done. The pool and extra Float toys were an absolute bonus. The only thing I would request is heads up pool guy coming to service the pool and maybe the pots and pan need to be gone through. But beside that the place was amazing for our family.

everything about the house was great, better than expected. my only draw back was that we were in a large group with trucks and trailers. i had checked ahead of time about the parking and was told there was plenty including lots of street parking, which there was other than all the neighbors complaining all the time that you are using the street parking. overall a great property and i would defiantly stay here again.
